semi-bad news, dude. i searched through all the files on my computer AND my backups(a ton of files, believe me), and i couldn't find the optimal stonehenge that i was referring to. so i'll just have to make another one.

Lvl7 was the first model i animated on Blender... like.. ever! hehe
I have the model, then gonna redo on future. Im not happy about creatures yet, so theres improves to come for certain.

question: did you still want the mountain/rock in the 6th dwelling? or did you only seperate them in the .png file so i could add another version?

I like the look, but I think the old sky and mountains was better. The new one is bland. You could easily overwrite it.

The new bbuilding layout is better, however.

I think you could combine the two for a better townscreen.

i had a previous stonehenge def that i did a lot of work on this morning, and i was wondering if you wanted me to use it for your dwelling, or if you'd rather have a different stonehenge:

I liked your stonehenge, and i dont think the mountain is needed. Maybe the nest. Theres some way to add on side ? What you think ?

The old background was a 6-7 combined images resulting in a darker, almost dead, area on left and some serious illumination problems, so i restarted, and for the better.

i think the nest can be added in front of the base of the foremost pillar; the passability should still be fine afterward. i'll do some work and get back to you.

edit: good news. i already have a nest made(that i use as a pandora's box of sorts for griffin "eggs"). it just needs it's clarity updated(i haven't worked on it in a long time), and i'll get back to you. should be just what the def needs.

I liked them both. First seems more complete i guess Soon you send the files i put on mod. Working right now o lvl2 creature graphical rework

@Fred79, found on your object pack a few pieces i believe could be base for the other dwellings. Can i modify they for that porpuse ? Thinking about change lvl 7 to a mayan pyramid to fit that object too

Needed some work on 5 & polish on 7. Lvl7 dwelling gonna change inside the castle to a mayan/inca pyramid

cooool. the ones you did look much better. but i'm not understanding the 6th dwelling to the right. what is above the cave entrance?

also, there are some off-cyan pixels showing up in some of the defs.

I switch 4 and 6 by mistake. 6 at really is 4. The thing above entrace is a deer skull. Tried made visible at possible. 5 i need remove the cyan, but was needed on irl the time i saw, then at night i do that.

The only thing bugging me right now in this town are the Hippogriffs. They remind me of one of the old fan towns - Grove, and it's an unpleasant thing to remember ^^

It's completely up to you, but could I suggest switching them with some other bird of prey, perhaps a Carrion Bird?

(I love pygmies btw, good choice for first level unit)

About 6th lvl - hippogriff
How i cant model, for now using wow models, league of legends models and some parts ripped from another game.
I looked 'carrion bird' o wowviwer, theres no ground stand pose. Thats a problem. Looked on Anivia from lol, just idle animations on 70% os skins. Another ones are too high tech.

Then i bring some options i found. Tell me what you guys think

* Cockatrice
I liked cockatrice idea. Brings me back magic the gathering feelings, but some points about that:
- Theres no fly animation, just a 'jumping clapping wings'. I dont know how feels inside game. Can try
- Theres a seat on back, cause its a mount. Thats a problem maybe ?


*Raven
I thought raven fits as a strong creature. Look a 'bad guy'. I liked


* Roc
Not my favorite, but thats an option.


* Pterodactyl
A long shoot, but thats another option


* Hippogriff
I know you guys have exactly this on debate, but for my ideas defense, the 'other castle' project are not finished since years ago and i really trying make a good playable project. Theres the concern about to equal to griffins. Thats plausible, but i tried make the colorful thing relevant to hippo to make different.

So far maybe fits better for my project than another one. And, im not a modeller yet. If one day i could do model and animations, then rework everything is a must do.


For the last, an outside the box idea:

* Wolfhawk
Not a bird i know, but a flying dude. I liked them very much. Need some testing about the tail cause too wide model, but seems bad enough to a 6th creature. Something like a skinny agile manticore. Of course gonna need rework on dwellings.


What you guys think about that ? Punch me on ideas and thanks for all your help.

I actually like pterodactyl the most. I think it fits with the ruins theme.

You could call it "Dactyl" and the upgraded version "Terrordactyl".
