I understand your thoughts and critics are welcome too, but allow me explain myself. The project started less than 2 months ago, so i think its goin well for now. Im just one guy doin all the things. I know, there's a few fellows helping with some details, and im really happy about that, but in the end its almost all me. Im learning character moddeling for creatures, but its not a fast work. Heroes its just HMM3 its a hobby, not my daily job. So, im gonna focus on make a stable well planned town, then after that i make better.

i think fiorin's doing pretty damn good, myself. he had the idea for a town, and made all the basic graphics for it, and even released it, all in 2 months. that's working at breakneck speed, really.

just for perspective, most people here have ideas for towns(myself included), and they're still in the drawing phase(or end up getting dropped altogether, even before they've done the bulk work). not to mention, most of them give up. especially, if they're doing the bulk work themselves.

if fiorin is doing this kind of work, at this pace, NOW, i can't wait to see what he's doing in a couple years. you shouldn't sleep on fiorin; judging from his work now, i think he has a particularly bright modding future ahead of him.

if it stays interesting for him, anyway.

I have not based my line-up on a specific mythology. I tried group by my creatures based on "what fits on nature/isolated/temple". I know i need refine.

For now i thinking:
- Joining lvl4 (hermit) + alternateLvl6 (priestess) on just one shooter. But gonna try first modeling that creature.
- Reduce Lvl3 (stag) to normal 2 steps creatures.
- I already remade Lvl6 (hippogriff) defs.
- Gonna redo lvl1 (pygmy), but i not gonna change their houses. I think its good for now.
- lvl5 i already have the new models, but need animate them. Too many legs, argh.
Thats my idea for lvl5 - giant spider (but changed texture color)

And that for lvl5up - ancient spider

yeah it can get pretty annoying to animate all those legs. My Zerg queens only had one broken leg i had to redo and even that was annoying to do lol.

I do not intend make a 'human-spider' on my line-up. Im really happy about my lvl7. I want make some changes on creatures, but thats is a polishing slow work
