What exactly is this thread for? I thought it was a chance for all of us to say goodbye or wish you all the best and ****, but I've just been watchin this for 8 pages trying to suss out wtf the purpose of it is. If you got a medical condition then you'd probably be pretty damned concerned about the people close to you, but I'm not sensing that, I'm sensing paranoia, aggitation and irritation, I get the feeling you done ****ed something up.

Next, you're in severe debt, by chance something you thought was secure simply fell through and now you owe a crap ton of dough.
Next, similar note, you're indebted to the mob, and you got a choice to blow the boss or be blown away yourself, you opted for the high road and maintained your oral virtue at the cost of your life.
Next, you hit on the wrong person's daughter/wife/son/mother...or grandmother/father. Now they're out for blood.
You've been cursed.
Alright will think of better ones soon, still too lucid, I need to actually do some diggin'.
You definately do not have an illness (unless it involves your penis) and it is prolly 99.9% chance of it being your fault I can say with absolute certainty, sure unforeseen, but hey so are kids most of the time, but you still gotta take responsibility. So whatever dim dark hole you seemingly randomly found yourself in just keep diggin, eventually you'll come out on the surface.

Because of a major decision in my own dragon-fight, I decided to return and update my thread...If Pain was Purple and saw you are still in the fight and of course must share something-anything.
My view & thoughts from "the cheap-seats".
Years back I knew of a middle-aged woman that faced what it "reads" you are fighting and she won her battle by exercising a tenacious never-say-die Spirit. She stayed very active and refused to isolate herself.
Pardon me in advance my friend, but meditate on the following suggestions and act on them in your own manner.
1. Belief "can" pave the road ahead.
2. Love and Laughter are the greatest medicines on Earth. So, make ALL amends (if you have not yet) and forgive all souls around you.
imvho, generally...we are all doing the "best we can" and need a break from our own mistakes.
3. Keep exercising your passions in whatever you enjoy and do not quit.
4. Do not isolate your Mind Body or Spirit and get out in nature and fellowship as much as you are able. In short-"push yourself to do what you know you should be doing".
Brother, I have zero authority to share all that but it is the best I can care from the distance.

we have plenty of cretins, myself included, with a penchant for writing, so you don't need to look in that west coast nest of degenerates. We also won't molest any actors before during and after the production, so there's an added bonus for that.

Also fred, I've been watching this for 8 pages now and its the same thing. You give some vague, cryptic news, people console you, we speculate you get irritated about said speculation, then you post more cryptic updates, ad nauseam.
So forgive me for not taking this as serious as you would like, but to someone on the internet this looks like nothing more than attention seeking. I'm even more skeptical of it with the knowledge that this has been done before on HC.
So I'll take it more seriously when we get something more concrete, instead of your riddles.

What drove you to make this thread is imho the same reason why you find yourself in your hellish situation. You wanted to divulge your situation to people you feel like you share something in common with, I daresay even trust a little (but not really, but kinda yeah?) when you start thinking about it, you want us but not really as hardly naught will come of it, so the result is a thread that shares something, but nothing at all, that trusts us with the silhouette of a dilemma, but doesn't share anything concrete enough to overstep the bounds. I.e insulting to expect the full worth of sympathy for naught but crumbs. GIMME THE BREAD!
Anyone that gives sympathy without knowing wtf is happening is just lying, they picture some terrible situation and project it on you so they can pretend to feel sympathy. It's a lie, and I will not have it. I want my goddamn shinies.

Poor Duke.
Besides Fredmuffin has tried and true methods of seeking attention, and he rarely begs for sympathy, hence the such a round-about way of doin it.
Hmm this actually feels like a funeral, but instead of paying respects to the head of the family or the next of kin, you're talking to the soon to be deceased. Can't tell a man not to laugh at something that quirky regardless of the tragedy.

This thread is an excellent test of HCers' interpersonal skills and the answers are illuminating. I am certain everyone will agree that we didn't deserve it, albeit for entirely different reasons.

@fred: I hope you understand now why blob2 and I were having that little exchange on page 2. My advice to you as I have said to others - never post stuff like personal problems or situations on the forum or the internet in general. You will regret it for the most part as I am sure you can already see. No matter how good your intentions or your actions, you will get irritated and frustrated at all the unwarranted and unnecessary **** you'll get for it. I speak from experience. Unless you think the handful of people showing sympathy or providing beneficial interaction was worth it, there's also that. However, I personally doubt it.
As far as I'm concerned, I can understand your situation and your reluctance to give us details. That was more than enough you let us know and I appreciate it. Though you should have had the foresight that not everyone would react that way. Now you have people labeling you as Duke_Falcon 2.0, saying you're attention seeking, only feeding them crumbs, fantasizing about prospecting your ass for gold when they're just really riling **** to stink. You've done nothing wrong and they've done nothing right, it's just the way it goes most of the time. Pearls before swine as they say, more so when you even shared your work. If you think you made a mistake, have a moment of self-reflection and never repeat it again, all while living with the consequences. Newfound strength will come forth, I've been there, I can attest to that.
You do what you think its best. May it work out in your favor.

And i agree with you share only as much as you need DS said fkall as well, simply said 'things came up n im out' AND HE WAS OUT. Still dont know what happened with him, but he never led us on. Fredmuffin wants something beyond a goodbye n farewell n he's dyin to spill something.

Imminent leave as you say, and yet he just said he will be around hopefully until the end of December or beginning of January. Not so imminent anymore.
I already gave fred my condolences and sympathies at the beginning of this thread. However this thread has continued for 9 pages/4 months. So of course people start to wonder about the legitimacy of his story, myself included. Especially when all fred gives us are "crumbs" are cryptic statements.
And like tSar said. fred flops between composed or irrationally angry/annoyed. Usually when this "super serious thread" is not taken as serious as it should be. If you want it to be taken seriously then be a little more forthcoming with what is happening. You can't get mad at people when they get curious or when they stop taking it seriously/begin to question.
You've had my sympathies this whole time fred, but surely you yourself must realize that you openly brought this scrutiny upon yourself when you started this thread. Just because I want to know more doesn't mean I'm disrespecting you, it means I am being cautious as to whether or not I am being made a fool of.
So yeah you have sympathies and condolences, and whatever is wrong I do hope you make it out of it for the better. But at the same time I still wonder about the honesty to your words and if it is indeed true.
I'd also like to point out that you made this thread in March as a goodbye thread. However, you said you gained/were given more time so you would not be saying goodbye until much later. So when this thread veered away from a farewell thread to a speculation thread about why you were leaving, you also got upset. Yet you yourself have said that you have some more time. So really this is not a goodbye thread anymore because you have more time. Food for thought I suppose.

Some of you DESPERATELY lack both reading comprehension, and anything resembling a working brain. I've already stated that my emotional state has been all over the place, repeatedly. I've already stated that i'd update if anything concerning my continuing time on earth were to change. And you guys just keep blathering. READ. READ.
