i guess an update is in order.
the living hell i went through last year is now over as of late last month. what's ahead for me now, is a lawsuit aimed at the scum who unnecessarily made my life a living hell last year, and all the damage they needlessly caused.
on top of that, i'll be doing my college online now due to the covid bs, so i most likely won't be able to get into the field. meaning, my work future(hell, my future overall) is bleak at best.
last friday(2 days ago), i went skydiving again. this time, it was not fun or empowering. being afraid of heights is one thing, but not being suicidal anymore and going skydiving anyway is another. i kept my eyes open the entire time this go(the first time they were squeezed shut just after leaving the plane and reopened once in freefall), and i jumped 1,500 ft higher than last time. i ended up with a racing heart and fighting panic most of the way down; struggling to breathe(i ended up taking big gulps of air to assist oxygen intake), and my ears popped and heart like a mothersnower. my left ear is still snowed up and will not pop; it feels like a knife being stuck in my ear.
and because of the bs in my personal life for the past 24 hours, i'm drinking tonight(a rarity for me, anymore).

i had planned to go in more depth, but being that this site may be being watched by who caused it all initially, i can't. i have to leave it vague, or face having to deal with the scum again.
maybe after the lawsuit is taken care of; but that would take 2+ years to see it through, from what i've been told.
i don't expect things to be working in the states by then. really, i'm only going through the motions, in case the states somehow miraculously don't implode.

It seems nothing really changed 17 pages later. It is a personal matter, still unresolved, still unexplained and I do think that the less we know about it, the best it may be resolved. It's not that we can interfere anyway. And if it may even reach us somehow, no point keeping on the subject.

@ stevie: i certainly think so, but i thought i had a case before when i was sideswiped by a drunk on my way to work and it didn't pan out. a drunk driver actually knocked me into his yard and then parked in his driveway before he came over to ask if i was ok. the lawyers i contacted wouldn't take the case because i went to work thinking i was unharmed. i had an ugly scrape on my arm; didn't realize it until i was in front of a grill. he totalled that car later that month, anyway. silver linings.
@ blob: no, nobody else has to worry about anything. it's not like that.
@ panda: i agree. not much to discuss either way, really.
