Corn in meatloaf sounds pretty good. I've just used breadcrumbs and/or oats.
Sweet corn also goes good on pizza, especially when you blacken the corn over an open flame. Then throw it on the pizza by itself or with pepperonis.
Other things that go good in a meatloaf are apples and/or cauliflower. Grinded up, obviously.
The most common American-style meatloaf topping is a sauce of ketchup, brown sugar, and a little bit of mustard and apple cider vinegar. Catalina dressing also goes good in a sauce that you can dip the meatloaf in.
And use a FATTY ground beef, because the fat helps keep everything together. You shouldn't need to use more than 1 or 2 eggs as the binding agent, depending on the size of the loaf you are making. Do not make me get the hose.

Don't worry! Finnish people always eat lesser ground meat in all time.. So a odd people don't interested in ground meat.. When ground meat soup, meatloaf, meatball, ground meat steak, etc are Finnish food..

Does anybody else feel somewhat bad for the xenomorphs? They’re always getting transported across space and crap in a pressurized tin can. They need a proper wildlife habitat where they can flourish and prosper as a community of individuals.
Anyway, I am totally rooting for them in the new Alien series.

Honestly, I don't know anything about this story.
In the USA, it is legal for elected politicians to own shares of a company. I think they're just mandated to publicly disclose their transactions. You don't have to become a pauper before you're allowed to run for public office. A lot of politicians have a background in business.

It is not illegal. However it is highly frowned upon and generally when an official takes office they cede their holdings in whatever company until they leave office. Otherwise it sends a really bad message.
You are correct about them being required to publicly disclose their transactions. Any transaction actually. And if they make a transaction based on private knowledge gained through the power of their office, they are immediately charged with insider trading.
Generally most politicians just hand over the reigns for a bit. Bad optics, but it also makes them politically vulnerable as any transaction or deal they make can be questioned and brought under scrutiny. Most politicians don't want the hassle, nor any potential weaknesses.
