You must be kidding, there are tons of countries using masked special forces, in order to avoid personal retaliation. Moreover for ICE, which has a very unpopular -on the left - mission, seeing how eager are the leftists to rely on ad hominem violence when they don't like someone, it is understandable.

I mean, in the US, if a masked, armed guy is making a threatening move against you - wouldn't you be allowed to defend yourself, even shoot him? Because why believe he's not a criminal?

I am totally confused right now. I don't own a firearm. If a person with a mask showed up , I would probably be befuddled and sit there quietly while they take whatever they want to take. Then I would call my insurance after they leave.
People have been using masks since forever in countries all over the place in drug operations. Imagine going after a cartel with your identity out in the open lol. No thank you.
ICE started using them because of incidences of harassment and getting targeted on social media, which also can end up affecting their spouse and kids if they have them.
Honestly, of all of the things for you to care about, you care about a stupid mask? Why do Germans have to act so German?

The context is same, anonymity keeps them safe from doxing and personal threats, seeing how much hate they generate.
Look, you hate Trump so anything will look to you nasty and worthwhile to snow about. Is Obama who parked the most people in cages. ICE does what the people who elected Trump wanted, which is remove illegal aliens. There is no nice way to do that, as they won't cooperate, which is understandable.
And if we had 1/10 of that in France, Marine Le Pen or her lieutenant wouldn't lead in presidential polls like they do now. People had enough of inaction and the insecurity resulting from. Trump does an ugly job no one had the balls to do before.
But if it isn't done, what is a nation then, an open field anyone from anywhere can walk in without being invited, checked and vetoed ? We are back to basic concepts.

Complete and utter nonsense. Masked police forces are not part of the general vista in any regular country. If they ARE masked, then because of hiding their identity from the felons, the terrorists, the cartels. Not from the general population like the executioners of old.
Masked people moving around grabbing people from the streets, from their cars, roving the cities you'd expect in gangland or in North Korea - but in the USA? Just read the constitution: that thing grants ALL people rights, and one of those is not to be grabbed by masked press gangs and be put in concentration camps - at least not without due process and a judge looking at the case before and order it.
And I don't hate Trump because i don't know him personally. You can love and hate only people you know personally. I despise Trump because he's a criminal and should be in jail for so many things already, obvious things. Everything I've ever said about him was obviously right. If you don't see that because of your general xenophobia, it's not my problem. But you shouldn't be prepared to throw constitutionality so willingly out of the window. We've seen what happens when the mob rules - and we can see it now.

Current state of the things is that Minnesota is defending vs USA. ICE agents are just a provocateurs.
As of the Iran, there seems to be 16.5k of murdered and 300k injured, decimation is going fast and all what is USA doing is wagging with Greenland. He's denying his own words about coming to help, if murdering will continue.
Mr. Trump seems to be seriously in the worse shape than was Mr. Biden. And he makes it worse for everyone, only not so much for himself tho.
He's out of grasp of current things.
