Yes, the three events to look forward to in return of the king:
1. The scouring
2. battle of pellennor fields
3. Crack of Doom.
The first chapter about Minas tirith is dull, but I hope that they've made the city look good in the movie.

The person who wrote this article is the biggest idiot who ever lived. How can somebody post something like this on the net without doing at least a tiny bit of research? 90% of the points on this list can be taken off just by the simple fact - one that the writer obviously is not aware of: LOTR is based on a triology of books written over 50 years ago (as many people here said already).
The other 10% are just misunderstandings and mistakes.

Two actors were abruptly cut from the sequel cast before production ended, both female minorities. Coincidence?
Aaliyah and Gloria Foster were unceremonially dropped after shooting some scenes for the sequel. What's wrong, guys? They didn't test well with the predominantly white Matrix audiences?

i have one thingy to say:
MAN! i hate people who strips a SUPERB movie down to bits and pieces!
its pure foolishness and ignoranc, or possibly the need to dislike something everybody else like, that u people thrive on! (no hard feelings)
im just sick of this. LOTR, all of `em, are super movies, forced into the ranks with Starwars and other movies that got a epic status.
But, there is no doubt, LOTR, the book and the movie, are EXELLENT.
therefore, everybody else who says anything like: "oooh, the movie suuuucks, ooooh the movie is SO commercial", they dont really get the the attention they want.
Sorry for this blowout! ive had it in me for a long time

The impressive thing about stupidity is, it doesn't have to submit to the laws of logic, reason or empirism.
A poor few of us try to explain to you that
THIS ARTICLE IS MADE BY A GUY WHO LIKE THE LOTR MOVIES!!!!!
He has observed dimwitted people (much like yourself, only they, unlike your bright selves, do not like the movie) making pointless and erroneous objections to different aspects of the films and their content, and so he decides to do a satirical list, overtly displaying the objections' shortcomings and faults.
It IS funny.
If you don't think so, you either 1)haven't read the books nor talked to people after the year 2000, 2)have no sense of humour, or 3) are excepitonally dumb (as I'm sure is the case with most of you).
