Thunderbirds casting Lightning seems weird to you?

What's next? Genies not casting/granding wishes?

Anyway, If someone knows a way to change the spells the 4 upgraded elementals are casting, please share.

I am afraid BM:U4 will not work, that's why I suggested UN:C. Seems we can not modify all casting creatures with, some are ignored.

Maybe checking out the commander scripts will help, they all cast custom spells.

I noticed that MoP mod added some cool centaur shooting frames (where they actually throw a spear). Is there a way to implement this to ERA II? What I mean to ask is how can someone add new shooting frames and associate them with archer creatures? The shooting defs are ready, all there's left to do is to associate them with the centaurs when they shoot.

Could you elaborate some more? The shooting frames are placed in the lod and that's how it should be done:

Centaurs shoot using the frames from centshot.def
Centaur Captains shoot using the frames from ccentshot.def.

Centaurs can already shoot, there is no need to add shoot ability (if I recall right). Anyway, arguments = x1/creature ID, x2/missile type, just in case there isn't.

I know they can already shoot that's not the problem. The thing is that when they shoot the bolt is an arrow and not a spear. MoP team made shooting frames just for the centaurs. That's what I want to implement in my mod. I want to assign new shooting frames to the centaurs.

Ok then, Bersy gave you generic function to assign missile to any creature. Now you adapt it to centaurs, you know what arguments are, put the right ID's and make the function run as instruction.

I can't because the new missile types have no id. If this command just assigns only one of the existing shooting frames (0-15) then it's useless to me, because the new shooting frames I want to add are not on the list. I need something that assigns shooting frames outside the list.

Either you replace one missile graphics or you select one who looks close to a spear. There is no way outside VCMI to assign such new content. MoP built a new game, because he can.

Squaz, is not hard to find out (test?). Of course pathfinding, ballistic, scholar and tactics do not receive any bonus from specialty, once expert they are already at max effect.

Write plug-in? But I practically forget what is WoG / ERA.
0xFEA has made dll for adding new creatures. Implementation of shooting should be there. I think that this dll should be allowed to change the parameters of all creatures, old and new. Or not?

Def's are loaded on the start of the battle.
I think, one can unload this def and load some another.

Yes, redirect will not work with BR/BG, only in BA trigger. But archers arrow is very close to elves so you just assign to marksmans elves missile, then to centaurs a new def with any name. I suppose centaurs share missile with archers but not sure 100%.
