Thank you, my old Heroes becamed amazing

Maybe a bit of topic but I don't know where to 'report' this:
if you play WoG with "SoD mod" and you have the "no skill limit" plug-in active you will still get the extra skills even if you can't see them. Is it a feature or a bug?

Well, if you want sod game play, and THIS is what SoD mod does, why keep activated plugins which do wog specified things?

I don't even see why you're asking such obvious things...

I don't want sod game play, on the contrary, I love WoG features even the most crazy ones.
But I was trying to play a game whithout level 8 creatures and I didn't found a switch off for that specific option anywhere.
It was when testing the mod to see what I could keep that I notice this. I simply thought it was something you would like to know.

What I've asked before that's why I used the SoD mod is: is it possible to play WoG without eighties?
What's is the option to switch them off?
Will I have to edit something? Cause I don't want to do that either.

What are you even talking about? You say:
Quote: if you play WoG with "SoD mod" and you have the "no skill limit" plug-in active you will still get the extra skills even if you can't see them. Is it a feature or a bug?

The obvious answer to that would be to turn the plug-in off. Why do you keep it open if you don't want it! So when someone tells you to do that, you then say:
Quote: What I've asked before that's why I used the SoD mod is: is it possible to play WoG without eighties?
What's is the option to switch them off?

What has this got to do with the other? If you want 8th level creatures out, turn them off from WoG options (just like any other WoG feature).

SoD mod removes all* wog options and graphics (almost, still a few icons are hardcoded but not biggy).

Take your time and read wog options, then disable the ones you don't want, then save your options (there is a button for that). Next time you play, just load your preferences, so you don't have to browse all options a second time. Mod manager offers even the possibility of loading various mods setups. Everything has been done to reduce at maximum the repetitive task, learn to use them.

Plugins work independently from erm codes and will even overwrite them. So keep an eye on them or you will have surprises.

* you still have the choice to select and play with enhanced things, as no plague, rename towns, see hero movement, see real value of skills (99+) and such.

Yeah! You were right, if you turn off the "Extended Creatures Upgrades" it is impossible to upgrade the 7ths to 8ths.
It is also impossible to upgrade the Master Gremlins to Santa, the Zealots to War Zealots, all the elementals to messengers and so on, so it doesn't serve my propuses but yes, it is possible.

Thank for your patience.

This is a matter of 10 seconds to edit. Open 53 wog options.erm, go to extended creatures upgrades and disable all lines (7) which upgrade lev 7.

Example:
!#MA&v1=1:U13/150; [Archangels to Supreme Archangels] *Castle Level 8*

Change to:
!*MA&v1=1:U13/150; [Archangels to Supreme Archangels] *Castle Level 8*

thanks goty.

lol, the 3mb one is my very first upload, i think(at least, the very first one that worked ). ah, memories...

it's funny, looking at my initial work. only a small number of those defs were worth a damn. i think, the jack-o-lanterns are still one of the best things i have made to date. it's a pity i didn't know then about using 32x64 boxes to retain their shadows, though. that's hours of work to fix those defs. i've had them prepped and ready in a folder to fix for a month now, but i can't bring myself to start on them.
