Poll Question:
Dungeon Line-up [vote part II]
After the official recount, Shield has been eliminated from the contest. The Blade from the Shadows or Malassa's Thousand Faces will be H7 Dungeon's line-up. Choose wisely!
The Blade from the Shadows
Core creatures
- Assassin/Shade: melee walker with backstab ability. Damage dealer.
- Shadow Lurker/Shadow Watcher: ranged attack flier with debuff abilities. Saboteur.
- Skirmisher/Darkblade: melee walker with strike and return ability and no retaliation. Damage dealer.
Elite creatures
- Minotaur/Minotaur Guard: melee walker with preemptive strike and no retaliation. Damage dealer.
- Shadow Unicorn/Nightmare: teleporter with debuff aura. Saboteur.
- Faceless/Faceless Assassin: teleporter with strike and return ability. Damage dealer.
Champion creatures
- Shadow Dragon/Black Dragon: flier with area of damage and debuff abilities. Saboteur.
- Cave Hydra/Dark Hydra: walker with no flanks and life drain ability. Tank.
Malassa's Thousand Faces
Core creatures
- Assassin/Shade: melee walker with backstab ability. Damage dealer.
- Troglodyte/Chthonian: Earth spirit, immune to blind and with burrowing movement ability. Tank.
- Stalker/Tracker: walker with ranged attack and piercing shot ability. Damage dealer.
Elite creatures
- Minotaur/Minotaur Guard: melee walker with preemptive strike and no retaliation. Damage dealer.
- Strider/Soulless: walker, shadowsteel construct with debuff abilities. Saboteur.
- Medusa/Medusa Sorceress: walker with ranged attack and mesmerizing ability. Saboteur.
Champion creatures
- Shadow Dragon/Black Dragon: flier with area of damage and debuff abilities. Saboteur.
- Cave Hydra/Dark Hydra: walker with no flanks and life drain ability. Tank.

Even though Shield was better than both of the others, Faces is still better than Blade.

Good thing I checked again, was about to make a new poll myself.
Well, Blades for now, though with the mention that Faces was my initial line-up and I wouldn't mind having it. Just that.. Strider Construct

while it's sad that faces has an extra elf and Lurker (is that what the eye-guy was called?) will be missed, it's nice to see a more interesting elite section. I will miss Manticores fo' shizzle but i still feel the Medusa adds so much to an otherwisa kinda one-sided elite line-up.
and the medusa example looked hella cool

I still can't put my vote behind the stupid construct, so I'm going with Blade again.
About the results, I'm glad they're pruning for cheats, but somehow I get the feeling that someone has found a way to manipulate the results that isn't detected. Perhaps it could be someone with an extensive network linking the poll and asking friends/members for votes on one part, or something like that, but the massive dominance of Fury we saw in Sylvan and now the massive spike in Faces seems a bit odd. But ok, perhaps I'm just looking for ghosts here, and people just really like the Medusa ...

No, every lineup had roughly 1/3 fake votes
Edit: Sorry, I miread it. I guess Shield did cheat the most :'(

I'll go for Malassa Faces again - Blade is just urgh.
Having Medusas back in Dungeon is great too

Well faces did start out with a 55% dominance and only went down from there so i don't think it's that that it won.

But what would be the explanation for Fury?
Maybe it's someone from Ubi...(not Ubi as a whole, though that is possible aswell)

Faces for me.
I am with War-overlord on this one, Shield was the best by far but Faces isn't bad at all. If only we could get Lurkers instead of those Stalkers at least, but oh well.
Blade isn't appealing to me only because of Faceless and 2 melee Dark Elf units.

Well, Faces is leading pretty hard now, 38-62. Guess it was expected since it already had 48% just from the first vote, lol.

Sure it could work, but then we would have 3 shooters in that lineup, 2 in core and 1 in elite tier. I think that early game will be too easy with one tanky creature(Trogs) and 2 shooters. And Assassins are quite unique with their stealth.

3 Shooters is much, I agree, but nothing unprecedented.
But I'd rather kick the Assassin because I don't think it's that interesting a creature. Stalkers seem to be the DElf equivalent of Hunters, which I find somewhat more plausible. Assassins could work equally well as a spell.
Also, nobody never sed nothing about no stealth fer Assassins.
