If it's not possible, then the spell must cost, and then the cost is reset in a way.

So, since people bring it up in this thread repeatedly (and also because I'm getting sick of my playtesters rag on it).... First Aid.
It cannot revive the dead and it cannot mass target; this has been brought up and shot down many times. It can at least skip the routine where the healing is randomized (set 07852C~D to EB 0A), but that's all we've figured out.
I recall seeing a script, though I'm not sure which format, where it was proposed (possibly succeeded) in having the First Aid skill increase the defense of units, which I think is on the right track but thematically inappropriate and redundant with the Armorer skill.
Rather, I'm curious if First Aid can raise the health of your units like the Ring of Life artifacts do.

Or maybe it can heal above max hp, for a temporary "hp shield"?
Or give units it "hits" the regeneration ability?
Or let it cast Cure, so it also removes negative status effects?

Okay I was just asking, anything to improve First Aid, as it is currently a bottom 3 skill imo.

Is there a way to increase the max number of heroes? The current one is 8...

In your tutorial.txt you have entered a duplicate address for two Clerics:
Adela 27A10C
Cuthbert 27A10C - Cuthbert is at 27A168

So, I've did some hex editing, and HoMM3 Complete keeps crashing near or at the 1 month period.
What can be causing this?

I've checked it all, and somehow in my head it's all OK, but the programe seems to bug up... Oh well, guess it's back to square one.

SilverG maybe a bit late to tell you this, but always have a back-up copy or note down original values before changing anything.
Hope you find the source of the crashes.

It was most likely transient. What you want to do when that happens is look at the crash report and see whose turn it was happening on. And then use cheat codes to look at the actions that player is taking and try to isolate exactly what it is.

The crash always occurred at the last players turn, be it green, teal or any other player.
As soon as the AI would end his turn, the game would crash. So it would be hard figuring out what and where.
But after copying a backup of the original .exe and re-editing it again from the start, it all works nicely so far. Am testing it on an xxl map, am at the 3rd month. So far so good.

Keep in mind that the crash might simply be something totally unrelated to your changes. The best way to check this would be to run the original unedited exe and see if the save crashes there as well.

That's half-true, Maurice. If it doesn't crash with the vanilla .exe, that definitely points to a problem with your modified one, but if it DOES then you don't learn much since that can't definitively prove your edits didn't cause the problem.

Got two (hopefully) easy questions here to wrap things up with my hack...
1) Where is the Garniture of Interference bonus? I know where the Boots of Polarity are and I want to swap them.
2) Where is the Still Eye of the Dragon named for the +1 Morale/Luck bonus? I'm wanting to shift this over to another artifact.
3) (bonus question) where is Titan's Bolt granted by Titan's Thunder?
