Fair enough. So take your phrase then add before and after the "no reason", exactly as he said.

You are the English native here. What gives now?

The no reason part obviously is a reply to the question directly addressing him: I wanna know why what happened in Mynamar cant happen in here.

No reason. It should happen here. No reason.

That is the obvious way to understand it. But I assume he’s just being rhetorical while pampering the audience, it’s a hyperbole. It’s like saying “man, we should frigging nuke this country to the ground.” If it was a factual possibility, he’d sing a different tune.

if that even WAS flynn, the fellow did say "it should happen here"; and he was obviously bs-ing, trying to please the crowd of patriots too stupid to understand nobody in the current government represents them.

flynn is a liar, as is trump. there isn't one politician in our country standing up for true american values; the patriots as of right now, have no leader, nor the organization to handle anything on their own. lastly, they really don't have the stomach for what needs to be done to get our country back from the globalists. they're too comfortable, and they aren't taking this defilement of our country as seriously as they should. you cannot half-ass being an american and call it a day. that's not what being an american MEANS.

The person on the stage was Michael Flynn. I posted the original video last page.

you did? you did post it? good for you!

i watched the video, and didn't recognize anyone in it, because the video quality was snow.

and, that's not even the point i was making, anyway. that's the point you guys were making. your point doesn't snowing matter; it literally makes zero difference at all in the grand scheme of things; as always, just another establishment parrot parroting their biased bs that furthers their own goals, and not yours whatsoever.

MY point, on the other hand, is pretty snowing substantial. you should try giving that one a go. and, i'll add, to answer what you think "trumpism" is. since you seem to be avoiding the more pertinent issues surrounding your failed logic.

It's relevant because Trump will possibly enter the primary race in the GOP, and we can see that both him and his close followers are still going with the insurrectionist angle. In other words this is bound to come up in conversations in the GOP primaries. Trumpism is still active within the GOP, with or without Donald Trump.

I don't know why you keep asking me to define Trumpism because you can simply Google it. Here is the Wiki:

Trumpism is a term for the political ideologies, social emotions, style of governance, political movement and set of mechanisms for acquiring and keeping power that are associated with Donald Trump, and his political base

What answer were you expecting to hear?

People shouldn't use homebrewed, personal definitions for words, otherwise what happens is that people come together to have a conversation and everybody is using a separate set of terminology, and then nobody is able to understand each other. You just end up with incoherence and confusion. I'm simply using the word as it is commonly used today.

i'm guessing you think "trumpism" explains why millions of people believe the election was fraudulent, and that it was also to blame for the white house protest january 6th?

Yes, for the most part.

Some people at a grassroots level will always cry "Fraud!" either way - and indeed they always have - but the narrative being invented from the top-down by Trump to hoodwink his own supporters, and then regurgitated by his circle of loyalists, created a uniquely serious situation, and that threat hasn't entirely disappeared.

Okay, fred’s right about one thing. No, not for the most part. People think of “the system” as a conspriracy, it’s everywhere, it’s here too.

@ blizz: wrong. the evidence that you people refuse to even scrutinize tells you there was fraud. millions of people don't believe in fraud because they think some fat rich guy is infallible. i invite you to reconsider the clear fault in your logic.

or are you telling me you think trump created all the evidence of fraud?

@ artu: why do you think that is?

@artu

Distrust towards the system hasn't (until relatively recently) been as widespread in the US as in younger democracies. It picked up steam with social media because people then have a platform. Like, there never used to be a community where people all over the world could connect who love the taste of dish soap. The days of Bush or Clinton were uneventful in comparison.

https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2019/07/22/key-findings-about-americans-declining-trust-in-government-and-each-other/

^ It's not specifically about elections, but mistrust in general has gone up. It's odd considering that transparency has increased, but it's the same way with other things. For example, violent crime has been collapsing over the decades but a lot of Americans think their country is more violent than ever. That is in large part due to news getting smeared across their computer screens 24/7. It's inadvertently brainwashing them despite the data saying otherwise.

But not everything is general distrust with the system. If it's just the system itself, then why are Republicans in the House & Senate going along with the Trump lie? That doesn't have a parallel on the Democratic side. It's because it came from the top.

speaking of the taste of dish soap, i think it's funny you don't understand that growing distrust of the government.

maybe one day you'll come around. it'll probably be after you stop eating dish soap.

I don't eat dishsoap

My mom never did that, but one time my deceased grandmother put a bar of soap in my mouth after I called the neighbor's kid a ****ing moron. Which he deserved, because he was driving around in his toy car in the backyard and went straight through the garden. I should have decapitated him where he stood and then demanded a ribbon for my good deed to the community.
