And if these are the main themes I still state it has fallen down to a new level of stupidity.

You know, you could be a little more civil.  Why would I want to discuss anything in this thread when things like this are posted?  Is it necessary to insult my country and, by virtue of that, every citizen of it, including me?  You have a right to disagree with American policy, and a right to say why, but you could act like you are more than ten years old when you do it.

| I never said I think ALL Americans are stupid (you are a prime example of one that is not). I did state before I think a LOT are. Just watch your media Take a look at your election 'debates', and I dare you to call it "not stupid". The fact the American population does not rise up and DEMAND a more mature tone in these things, makes me conclude the average population ACCEPTS this kind of childish mudtossing, and is stupid. Do you disagree?

Congressman Ron Paul Schools Bernanke on the Bailout Plan
Your media also nicely voided the only presidential candidate that actually had a brain and used it. Which is, I think, the main reason they filtered him out. Not so easy to corrupt, that guy

| The debates are a sham, and always have been.  Take last night's debate as an example.  Did we learn anything?  Not really.  Just more of the same misdirections, accusations and truth spinning that we always have.
But calling my country "the United Stupid of America" *does* insult all Americans.  How could it not?  I don't like my country being insulted, because I happen to like my country - despite all its imperfections.  My country is *not* stupid, and nor are its people.  We have our share of idiots - just like every other country - and an unusually large percentage of them happen to be running our government at the moment.  But resorting to namecalling and generalizations only distracts everyone from a real discussion of what are the best policies for the US, how they should be implemented, and who should be trusted to do it.  The same sort of behavior between politicians of different parties here in the US is part of the reason why we're in this mess to begin with.  Make no mistake - the selection of the president of the US affects not only the US, but the entire world, and if we can't have a civilized discussion about it - and I don't just mean here, in this little forum - what chance to do we really have of picking the best person for the job and making good choices for our planet and the people who live on it?

I repeat, the fact the American population does not rise up against this INSULT to their level of INTELLIGENCE makes me conclude they accept it and are stupid. Simple question: WHY do you accept this?

I think it depends wether or not you feel referred to. Do you associate yourself with the retards of your country? Besides, that 'joke' isn't even mine
It was a joke by an actual American (I forgot his name though, he was on the Daily Show).

I think most of the people in general in the entire world are. That includes people in the USA. Although granted, that has to do with how people are raised and educated. Some people accomplish to rise above a primitive level and enlighten themselves - most don't.

I don't think the choice matters a lot, both are puppets bought by the same corrupt elite. And the ones that can't be bought are either filtered out (Ron Paul) or shot (Kennedy).
