I also bought the game on Steam, but I don't see any download option. Anyway, I just tried the Ubi download and it worked at my first try now.

If you bought it on Steam, go to your library and scroll down to Might and Magic Heroes 6 Beta. You can install it from there. I don't see how you could be downloading it from Ubi's site, unless you bought it twice or got an extra beta key. Steam doesn't use a beta key, if I'm not mistaken.

Oh, I just found it. I thought the (pre-order) game would get a "pre-load" option like they usually do.
As for the Ubi site, I got the stress test beta key, and it allowed me to download the new beta client.

Just bloody brilliant, can't even get to the download page, ordered two russian brides while waiting....
You all need to be patient and stop your downloads for an hour or two... So I can get mine, stop being so selfish goddamnit

BREAKING NEWS: This is for those who used mine advice to install Internet Download Manager!
Here is a solution for interuptions on downloading: Because you are downloading the ZIP file under secured area (aka login/pass) you are automatically logged off after some minutes = your connection to the server is lost. What to do?
1) Click "Pause/Stop" in IDM and then "Refresh/Download"
2) IDM will redirect you back to heroes beta page
3) retype login/pass
4) click Download button on page (leading to the zip file)
5) IDM will automatically continue from where it stopped
6) repeat every time you get logged off the server
7) send email to ubisoft and donate them some bucks for the IT hamsters!

ENJOY THE BETA... Yey. Good one. Good one... Or it is not a joke? I suppose.
Everytime (since something around 6:40 PM) I try to OPEN beta site I'm redirected to the Index of Oficial Homm6 Site :/. I tried Mozzila, IE, Opera. Everytime the same happens. Anyone had/has problem like mine?
My code must be exacly as Ubi said: "Exclusive"  .
(I finished to complain )
I hope you do not have that kind of troubles, best!
