TheDeath:
I meant that eating is a rational process in the sense that, "Whoa! That's human flesh! There's no way I'm eating that! I'll just get some soybeans instead." Whereas with bears, generally it's more like, "It's edible? I'm hungry? EAT!"

And how would cannibals turn into zombies? I'm not aware of any property of human flesh that can cause those who eat it to come back to life.

Bak:
But, sir, none of the other kids want any! They say it's icky! But I want some.

Nah, that makes him a classical horror character commercialized to the bone by the painfully immoral money-grabbing film-making companies.

There's no sort of immortality whatsoever in the Silence of the Lambs. Just his superior intellect.

Breaking News

Anchor: Skama's government has just announced that zombies eat flesh. For more on this story, let's go to our foreign affairs correspondent.

Foreign policy correspondent: During a debate about cannibalism, Borsuc, the ruler of Skama, said that "zombies eat flesh. What more would you want from a living zombie?"

Anchor: Does he seem to be implying that those who eat flesh actually eat flesh?

Foreign affairs correspondent: He certainly seems to say so. Although it's not entirely clear yet.

Anchor: For more on this, let's go to our people on the street. What do people seem to be saying about this?

Reporter: They seem to be surprised. Let's see what some of them have to say.

Bystander 1: Zombies eat flesh? That can't be right.

Bystander 2: Those who eat flesh eat flesh? My whole world view has just been turned upside down.

Bystander 3: Those durty forunurs! They's ain't know nothin about nothin! Zombies don't eat no flesh!

Reporter: It's certainly had an immediate impact.

Anchor: All right, back to our foreign affairs correspondent. What does this mean for Mvassland-Skama relationships?

Foreign affairs correspondent: Mvass is assembling a committee of physicians and health care professionals to show that eating human meat does not, in fact, make one go insane. But it is unclear what kind of impact this statement will have.

Anchor: Thank you. Tune in at 9 o'clock for our special report, "The Meat of the Matter: Cannibalism and Foreign Relations".

What? He took the face off of the police officer that he killed (the one where  he bit his face off when he tried to stop lector), put his clothes on the police officer and then threw him down the elevator and then laid down on the ground and was then rushed to hospital but on the way there, lector got up and killed everyone.

Did you watch the movie?

And TheDeath, there really isn't a thing such as a living zombie since zombies are part of the undead. Eating someone when you are alive is called cannibalism, not a zombie. Plus, zombies aren't real (well not the ones that are in movies where they go around tearing peoples limbs off and rising out of the ground or other weird things they do).

lol mvass

@William: zombie has MANY definitions, one of which happens to be yours, but here's another one:
Quote:
a person whose behavior or responses are wooden, listless, or seemingly rote; automaton.

and besides I already said it was a bad example. I said "living zombie" but that is perhaps a contradiction so just drop it already, you know what I meant

Seems I am ranked #1 in the region's most compassionate citizens
(take that bak! )

Also I see mvass has made another country "The Dictatorship of Mvassreich", which is kinda off for him, since (I quote) "Private enterprise is illegal" (mvass are you ok? )

Then, in NationStates2 (mvass's nation): "Wealthy citizens receive premium healthcare in Mvassland but you don't hear much from the poor anymore. Maybe they're at home sick."

talking about capitalistic health care

(I made the Solar energy stuff in the issue and the industry didn't appear yet , of course it's not like I had a choice (except taking fish, but I'll probably do that another time) since option #2 was about oil energy, which is too barbaric, I mean seriously you take energy unnaturally from buried resources, destroying the environment, and use... dead animals? bah, let them rest in peace).

sorry if this post contained a bit of rant, just to keep this thread alive

EDIT: I have a difficult issue to deal with in NS2:

Quote:
"Education, Education, Education!"

Skama is teeming with children, ready to have their young brains filled with information that will help them in later life. Opinions differ on how to go about this, however.

1. "If we want our kids to live full rewarding lives we've got to give them a well-funded school system," says Andrew Lisle. "They might be sticking as many fingers into their nostrils as they can possibly fit right now, but later they will be our future and as such there's no such thing as 'too much money' for this cause. We must not stop until our schools are the best in the entire continent!"

2. "Governments always do it wrong," says Louise Masud, CFO of fast-food restaurant empire, Sweltering John's. "They try their best, but in the end everything gets... politicized. The education system needs the caring and understanding management of corporations if they're going to amount to anything. They'll learn actual practical skills that will get them definite employment in later life, and other useful things like how our cheeseburgers are the best value for money."

3. "That's just horrendous," says Gilbert Derbyshire. "I don't want to send my son off to have these things to taught to him. Schools are just another way of getting whoever's in charge's ideologies distributed. It's social engineering, and brainwashing at worst. I know what's best for my children, not the government and not some senior executive trying to get his bonus. We should ban schools and allow all children to be home-taught."

4. "Education is all well and good for those wanting jobs," says Sister Undine O'Neill. "But can algebra SAVE you in the same way the Lord's love can? I don't think so. Children should be educated in the sight of God by His sacred servants. Children must be taught to be virtuous as well as skillful."

5. "The only thing a man needs to know is how to handle a gun and follow orders," barks Sergeant Bruce Love. "We'll turn these rosy-cheeked pipsqueaks into soldiers and they'll be proud to serve their country! With honor!"
The only thing i do know is that 5 is out of the question, and I'm not too fond of 2 either... I'm afraid by choosing 3 I will have "people in Skama are stupid" and by choosing 1 I will have "people in Skama are unhappy at school" and by choosing 4 I will have "people in Skama are religious only because they are forcibly taught that way, not because they care about it".

Yeah that's only cause you're on the bottom

(and I don't really care about other viewpoints (those that say otherwise are IMO a bit "backwards" ), I only said I'm glad that I'm that way (and I took bak's place ), if you think about it, compassion developed more on peaceful and artistic cultures rather than barbaric ones)

I don't know what you call 'weakness' but surely i would never like a government or people that are not compassionate and greedy for profit and only care about others as long as they are "useful" (note: this is exactly what I am against, so it's only natural/logical that I am happy with the compassionate statistics). Compassionate people either mean that they care about themselves because they're too oppressed (and have to "stick" together), or that they care because the government cares as well, which is in my case (I'm not psychotic for example ). And yeah that is a very good path for a good, sensitive nation (rather than selfish and sometimes more primitive , no Mvass I'm not necessarily pointing this at you just because you're at the bottomest bottom of the list)

Yes I know, but the problem is that it requires funding which means either increased taxes or cuts from a given branch (not that I have much spending already but I will probably for social welfare and all that)

Then why did you post this here? This is a forum where people discuss their viewpoints, so if you don't care then don't post.

And being like you want is a good alignment. And Good alignments are weak, they always need to 'group together' to be able to defeat the evil ones, who usually don't work together. That's because they're naive and peaceful (usually) and think that the whole world is a 'paradise'

Peace is just a short period of time between wars.

I said I am proud that my nation is #1 and that I took bak's place. Where did I say I want discussion? If I say "My country is a socialist one!" and put a "" because I like that, should mvass come and argue about it? This is not a debate thread

You have a very strange definition of 'weak'. I would choose to be weak (whatever that means) than primitive OR selfish everyday

I don't need your fancy lessons, but I think you realize fantasy is just that... and that most times villains are "OMG super-mega-powerful" just to make it interesting? (usually demons are more plentiful than "angels")... but yeah of course you have such mentality that only thinks about force (I guess it doesn't matter in the end if you lived 100 years and weren't compassionate, better to live 3 and be compassionate ).

See my motto. You know, there's more to life and things that are more "enlightened" than just combat and war and battle with "evil" doods, even in fantasy...

EDIT: talking about who starts an argument between us
