Yup, I know. 
Nationstates seems to be down every other time I try to access it Celf.
Go to region, find heroes community, and there's a "move here" or something somewhere on the page.

Now it works again, at least for me.
EDIT: Huh? Is it possible to get the same issues again? Cuz I just got the compulsory voting issue for the second time... And I didn't dismiss it or anything the first time.
EDIT2: Now it stopped working again... arrgh. The same-issue-thingy must've been part of the failure all along then.

Now it works again. But it still seems to be having errors.
But if you play for long enough, some issues will start repeating.

The Republic of The Celfious is a tiny, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 5 million are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.
The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Social Welfare, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 34%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Door-to-door Insurance Sales.
Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. The Celfious's national animal is the cat and its currency is the ceaser.

Lol all the Heroes names are taken, I had to sign up as Nighonn.
I was aiming for a strict, oppressive rule-by-the-strong thing and mostly got it. Although I think it would be cooler if you had more say in what your nation becomes.
