Endless criticizing and arguing is our world biggest plague. Nobody forces nobody to play, agree or enjoy Forge or whatever, spiders, tanks, helicopters or bananas. The main thing is: he is willing to work in his free time to create his idea. For others. Some may not like it, others, like me for example, will certainly find good points and even use the new material for various purposes. What is your alternative? I see nothing until now...
If you dislike experimenting (which is surprising from you) then you should stick to the library forum. There is where guys endlessly discuss again and again a 10 years old game. From time to time they even discover new tactics, after all this time.
Besides that, I can quote your phrase and point it as the main reason why all the HoMM3 veterans disliked HoMM5. It changed drastically a 10 years old game. No matter what you say, the evidence is there, nobody from old generation dared to play HoMM5. I don't say they are right or wrong. I say refusing to experiment is an emotional issue, not a logical one, and leads nowhere but being glued in talk for nothing.
Haregar, keep the work  The animations are very professional.

Haregar, are you sure what are you talking about? I know, there are finished units (even quality is good) but... Town screen... Will be a chalenge, storyline must fit to MM universe (not a big problem, when Acid is near...). I mean... Look at Grove - we had more sources, town was more simple than Forge but we were working on it very long (but I don't remember how long). Do you understand? Please, don't promise sun, moon and jupiter untill you have two of them.

Well, I'm serious. I said that we will finish in few months and we will do this. 
And according to your storyline's question we have got an idea to place it after the Reckoning, but I won't tell you more. Just wait for more infos.
Oh, I almost forgot about buildings and town screen - we have about 30% done mate.

When you decide to disband before releasing the project after all (not that you will, just in case), would you share all the units and graphics and all with us by posting it here?

We won't perish, we MUSTN'T perish.
And by the way, I've been too optimistic about those 1-2 months to premiere of Forge town. Trith, you were right. I didn't want to demotive all of you, but one sure thing about realase of this town is that we will make it!

Sorry that I must say that, but other members of team are in conflict and... you know what I'm talking about.
Team has splitted up. Project is actually buried.
Don't ask why and when. Other concepts, arguments... Some members were very unfriendly to others. There were lots of guys that were angry because of unsecret character of project. I was one of them actually.
And I don't know why I must write this. That's just an absurd.
Sorry for making hope.

We are dead serious. When I was talking about it we had already two groups, now team has just splitted up. In other words there is no team. We couldn't make town working as one but in different groups with different conceptions about Forge. I think Hobbit can tell you more about it, yes Hobbit? -,-

If I can...
One guy told us that this concept is bad. He said something like "New concept or I will quit". Then some guys says that he's right. And there were two groups already.
Then in one group some guy was arguing with other. They were actually two most important persons in team. But this time this group wasn't splitted into two other groups. This time project was just buried.
I would venture to say that only me and Haregar actually wanted to work... That's sad.
Ayreon - don't ask me. We were actually too pressed for time to make something useful.

Hi Everybody
I'm representative of GKH modding group and I'm going to tell all of You truth about New Forge Team Haregar and Kamixo (person, who left team, when first of Grove Team had appeared) wanted to create original Forge. Fortunately, I and Znajomy have been working at The Forge already, so they joined GKH and we have started making Forge together. 3 days later, Grove Team said, that they are going to create Forge too. An accident? My team didn't want to compete with anybody, so we decided to work together with a part of Grove Team. After few days, one of them has called himself a "Leader"... We didn't want to work in this conditions...

I finished it 2 days ago (No, i won't show it to You, guys  ). And it looks very, very good. I made it all alone. Grove Team job in Forge (like in Grove) is only to copy somebody's else graphics. That all what can You do.
