i dont have the manual but i'll use a gamefaq on the net. or can someone find an online manual
ok i'll start now doing one at a time...
red dragon- 1 sulphur
well sulphur is one of the main components in gunpowder as well i belive sulphur is a good soucre of fire power, it is posible that without fire power dragons cannot do what they do. in some legends they claim that when they enter the dragon cave it smells like "rotten eggs" they are probably reffering to sulphur as that is exactly what sulphur smells like. this may be because the caves are made of sulphur to keep it warm (so eggs can hatch maybe)

red dragon= sulphur is believed by some to be used to create the fire from thier mouths while others purely believe it is just a smell to keep ppl out of caves. others have even gone so far as to believe that dragons have a another use for it such as potions. no one truly knows since entering a dragons cave is certain death but for those that come out, death seems like a good option

1st Post:
black dragon- 2 sulphur
its pretty much explained with red dragons, they just need more because they need more fire power.
Chaos Hydra- 1 sulphur:
the greek name for sulphur means divinity, and in mythology the hydra is imortal (cut off one head another grows in its place) that was until herculese killed it, but back on the subject. it is considered the emboidant of fire and i think chaos hydras of hot breath(i havent played the game in a while) it is posible the sulphur is used to heat thier breath so they can shoot steam or maybe to heat up thier pond
i'll do some more later after i've had some time to think, next up is Devil/Arch Devil

Okay here goes:
Devil- 1 mercury
In several ancient cultures (mostly asian ones) mercury is considered to be one of the secrets to long life, healing wounds and good health. but the main reason that devils require mercury is possibly because a devil is
imortal (kinda) and mercury (well to be specific mercuric sulphide) is one of the key components for immortality. Aswell mercury would probbably explain the devils being evil rather than good, for a side effect of
mercury is that it can mess with ones mental stability hence driving one mad. This is probably why angel though also "imortal" like devils do not require mercury as it is possible they have some other divine solution
to imortality. Also it is belived mercury is the basis of all metals and can be turned into any metal including gold. and we all know how greedy devils are. oh yeah and what lord woock mentioned before about dipping the scythe in mercury for more power
ArchDevil- 2 mercury
The archdevil requires more mercury for a stronger bond with it's imortality, the mercury probably makes it stronger as well through more insanity and a better scythe.

Ghost Dragon- 1 mercury
As stated in the devil/arch devil section mercury is one of the key components to immortality. But it is possible that mercury is just a key component to sustain 'life', and as u can see the ghost dragon is un-dead.
maybe the mercury is used to extract the soul from the bone dragon, while keeping the dragon intact(kinda)
Next up Green Dragon/Gold Dragon (this sould be hard)

GreenDragon- 1 crystal
Well it seems that green dragons are immune to spells lvl 1-lvl 3, it is possible the dragon is lined with a thin layer of crystal or the scales have a small fusion with crystal so as to resist the weaker levels of magic. the crystal probably makes the dragon more shiny and glossy as well, but thats my opinion.
GoldDragon- 2 crystal
The Gold dragon has resistance to lvl 1-lvl 4 magic. this is probably due to more crystal for more protection (scales or thin layer) it is also probably why the gold dragon is more glossy than the green dragon.
5th Post:
Ancient Behemoth - 1 crystal
Well crystal is a resource commonly used in spells. being an ancient behemoth it would seem to upgrade the behemoth to aincient behemoth would require some form of time traveling/age changing. whether it is the
travel back in time to recover the more wild unevolved form of behemoth or the aging of a behemoth to increase its power either way would most likely require a crystal, though they most likely would just age a
behemoth as i doubt that they would have a form of time travel and not exploit it. as well ancient assumes very old, it is not likely they'll wait around for a behemoth to grow older and hence the ageing process is used. it is also possible behemoths eat crystals but i am not sure.

Giants - 1 gem
Well its obvious some form of rare mineral was used for that kickass sword, the gem could have been used of the blade or simply to enchant it. Or maybe the gem is used in the helmet. it is possible the gem in the giants helmet is enchanted to resist mind magic (which is why the giant is imune to mind spells)
Titans - 2 gems
i have a pretty good answer for this one but i'll need some help. i read in a walkthrough that the titan has a ranged attack. can someone please describe to me what the attcak looks like? i'd find out for myself but i dont have the game anymore (and a certain freind of mine wont let me borrow it) and it's been years since i played it

Imagine a Titan (or perhaps a Giant) taking his lightning sword and flinging it in the direction of the enemy, unleashing a powerful lightning bolt. That's pretty much what it looks like.

Instead of placing some "filling" posts from other members between mr_niceguys posts to protect him from reducing his postcount, he just could make longer posts, edit his post or just wait until he gets a response to his post. I donīt want to see "a single smiley" or just a "meh" break post....that disturbs the nice idea of the thread in my eyes....

For the bolded suggestion, I guess he'd basically have to wait until either A_R_F or myself shows up and posts. Very few others even bother looking at some of these threads we make, let alone post anything in them.

Just look for polly's riddle thread, that one has many different posters.
So if you make thread to make interesting discussions rather then raising your post counts im sure there will be more posters aswell.

well i've decided to save myself some time and just skip all the ones with just ore and wood (because there all quite obvious)

their all probably for thier mystical reasearch, it takes alot of study to learn how to HADOKEN!! (or kamehameha)

crystal is probably used in a spell to open the gate to heaven
gems seem to be used in the building of this structure (thats why its so... shiny?)

Possible Dendroid History Explained:
Dendroids have long inhabited the dense forests of Antagarich. It wasn't until the Kreegans launched their bloody military campaigns across the continent that the Dendroid populations largely migrated to Western Antagarich. Elven scouts took note of the migrating hordes of tree creatures and promptly informed their superiors. Sending out their diplomats to meet the Dendroids, the lords of AvLee hoped to strengthen ties with the creatures by offering them amnesty. The Elves had worked with Dendroids before, so the negotiations went as planned. The Dendroids were offered homes within AvLee's forested regions, as well as positions within the Elven High Command to form their inner circle. A great leader named Ryland took a stand to aid the Dendroids in their training for the war against the Kreegans. Under his leadership, the Dendroids proved to the world that they were truly capable fighters. Their unique ability to entangle enemies within their powerful limbs made them feared and respected by all. The Dendroids accepted payment in the form of gold that went to constructing larger forested habitats for their offspring. In fact, the improvements that went into sheltering and training the new generations of trees led to startling biological breakthroughs. Dendroids would eventually grow larger in size and possess stronger limbs. These "soldiers" were considered an elite fighting force by the Elves, who witnessed the increase in enemy casualties on the battlefield.
As the wars dragged on, many Elven towns were left poorly defended and at the mercy of the marauding Kreegans. A desperate measure was made to save these towns by sending strong Rampart fighters to serve as garrisons. While Centaur and Pegasi guerrillas ambushed the invaders in the field, Dwarves and Dendroids were called upon to stay within the walls of the city to safeguard the townspeople and their leaders. As was hoped, many demonic soldiers found themselves trapped in heavy vines, helpless to the approaching teams of Dwarven militia.
Even though the Elves managed to route the Kreegan invaders, peaceful times were still far ahead of them. When the Necromancers began their ghastly "cleansing" of the land, the Dendroids stood by the Elves in their quest to rid AvLee of this dark menace. Dendroids can still be found fighting in the armies of AvLee, in hope of someday restoring the land to the glory it once was.
