Welcome to HC 
Personally one of the aspects of heroes 4 that I considered as 'bad' was the fact that I only had an english copy (and all the campaigns are done via 'text' and reading) seeing how at the time I was completely illitirate in the inferior english tongue (my god one would think english was designed to confuse everyone, missdirection and missunderstanding are the least of your worries with english)
I couldn't fully enjoy the game 'til much later. (I mean you can play with heroes dammit!) Though I never liked the fact that every rampart hero is black, but there isn't a single black skinned hero portrait, lol

I didnt like that the computer would target my hero first and out right kill it, I could build 2 diffrent units for each tier but only 1 per castle.

The magic is to die for, never liked that my heroes are cowardly and never participate in combat, and much to my shame if I lost the coward even ran!
I love sending my hero into the fray and letting him fall in glory, I always have a priestess support no matter the faction I play (or do my best to get one) who has either heal or resurrection.
I found that I can role play far more in heroes 4 than in any other heroes game.
It's a matter of preference after all, not trying to whip you unto my side of thinking, just letting you know that I am here

Well who knows. Im done with the majority of skirmishes for Heroes 3 and maybe once Im done with all the camps for it Ill give 4 another try. It has been 10 years, maybe my taste has changed since then.

Hey litch, welcome to the community. Have yourself a read of the FAQ to learn the rules and then dig right in. If you've re-discovering H3 after a long hiatus, I highly suggest you download the Wake of Gods expansion, a user-made mod that does incredible things to the game. There's a whole forum here dedicated to it.

Hey, guys. I've been playing Heroes for years and years, plus I've been stalking these forums for a long while, so I thought I might finally join. I would say that HoMM 2 is by my favorite Heroes Game. I'm most of the way through a computer science major, so I'm hoping I could learn how to do some moding/create my own heroes-esque game.

Too Many E-mails
Hello I don't want to be rude but I'm getting way too many E-mails welcome me it's been like 4 months since I've been here and I'm not playing Heroses any longer they are all quite boring and I just don't want this anylonger. Thank you for respecting my wishes. I'd appreciate a way to remove me from this crazy new commers list.
