all newcomers: if you're big on heroes3, get into modding. the tools are easy to learn, and making your own stuff is a lot of fun! i've been here only a year or so, and i add more stuff every day to my little h3 world. it's addictive as hell! just a tip, making your own map objects is the easiest way to mod!

protip for the noobies:
get into modding if you want to stay interested enough to linger here. most people have to get an acquired taste to this place. those hardcores are few, compared to the countless people who pop in to say hi, and then leave, leaving me to question why hc has "15,732" members, where only a relative few post.

Anyway, we're complaining about people who register, but only make one introduction post in here and disappear forever.
And, yeah, it's hard to adapt when you're new here because you'll feel as if nobody cares about you (trust me, I've gone through that phase).
If you want to, you can freely chat with me in threads until you gain some attention and become accepted by the other guys. However, I'm not really into Heroes that much anymore.
