Hmm... I don't think it matters if you use capitalized letters when logging in, but you won't be able to edit past posts if you're under a "different" username.
Example: I log in as "adrius." I won't be able to edit posts made by "Adrius"
So you should be able to log in as Vampcorn
Or am I utterly mistaken here?

Hmm I think that even if you log in as "adrius", the name on the left will still be displayed as "Adrius"
Only that you'll have to edit with "adrius".

Where would be a good place to read about the history of HoMM, so I can fit my theroretical faction without having to go completly out of the history and do something that doesn't fit.

I think it's about time for me to make a proper introduction
Back in the days when I had my first PC (Pentium 75MHz, ah the memories) and as soon as I upgraded from Win 3.11 to Win 98, I discovered HoMM3. I had no time (and disk space  ) for any other games so even though each loading the castle took 3-5 solid minutes I didn't complain, nor did my friends when playing hot seat (4players, hehe)
Along with H4 showing up I just had my new PC so in an euphoric state I installed it and played. And played. And couldn't convince myself to this title.
H5 came out! Holy cow! blablabla *me playing vs AI on easy* blabla *campaign* ... *me searching for artworks* blabla *me finding HC*
And so I passively 'joined' the forums about half a year ago, but now, seeing a small (sorry Elvin  ) tournament inside HC I decided to register and take from you all what is rightfully mine! And that is my sore behind
I find creating and editing graphics fun and I like to think of it as a hobby for which I lost interest some time ago. Recently I realised I could make money from it when a friend asked me to make him a logo for his shop and the interest came back I've got A LOT of free time right and a new version of my favorite gfx program was released so I keep boredom away checking out new options and discovering different uses for old ones. I surely have a lot to learn. (if you still read this you deserve a cookie)
The 'Who am I' stands in profile information. I don't flame on forums. Tend not to spam. Mice englich tongue skills ist gut.
I'm not big on making long posts because I forget what I intended to write in the first place. Now it happens. End. Now.

Hello all, I just want to introduce myself and why I decided to join here.
I'm a German HoMM-Fan since long time (I'm old enough to say since "decades"), and "at home" in Drachenwald and MM-World, but also member of RT in Celestial Heavens. I visited HC for some years already and found a lot of answers to my questions. Recently I had a problem with running WoG and my friend Salamandre linked me to a thread here where similar problems have been discussed.
I like playing games as Hangman etc., but won't participate at discussions about "Gods and the World" so much.
Happy New Year to all of you, especially Asheera, Borsuc, "Lord" Lexxan, Salamandre, Angelito,... and all, whom I know from CH and other boards.
