You know...claiming victory after what I did to you in that thread either makes you a pretty funny satirist or the kid who, after getting their butt kicked on the playground, jumps up and starts making all sorts of wild and crazy threats to save face.
Since I would be hard pressed to even get your kids to say you're funny after they saw you dressed up as a clown for Halloween, let's just go with the second. If you're looking to start a conflict with a buddy of yours because you're bored, you forgot to tell me I was your buddy. Finding you more tolerable over the years doesn't negate the fact that you're one strange man and not someone I'd associate with.

I do visit my Myspace page almost everyday. But I'm not all that interested in getting involved with the blogging culture and all that goes with it. Nor have I ever expressed a special interest in getting to know you. If you're wittle feelings got hurt because I didn't pay enough attention to your harping attempts to get me to blog with more regularity, please go drink lots of bleach and die. You have entirely too much time on your hands to worry about this nonsense.

Well Jake I think you best get your own friends.
It seems making friends on here is no good.
You best talk to different friends who actually know how to respect other people.

Acu, I don't want to be rude to you and your professional counseling sessions, however frankley dear I don't give a damn. Consis sounds bored and like he is angeling for an argument or response because of his boredom. Please forgive me for deleting you from my friends list. You seem like a fun charismatic person. However, much like here at Heroes Community where I spend most of my time in the Other Side talking about Real Life things, I also do the same on my page. You're a young guy and I haven't really seen you take any interest in news articles or political debates or scientific theories. To be frank with you, I'll simply repeat what I've heard my kids tell me: "All that boring adult stuff" ...... which in many cases is equally boring even to many adults! LoL! I'm not simply looking to be friends with someone who I can share video game stories with. My real life is a big part of what I usually like to talk about. And I wouldn't want to type up a big short story only to get one sentence replies in return.
That's one of the reasons why I'm so drawn to Violent_Flower and The_Gootch. Both of them have many deeply rooted and interesting opinions about the world and all of its complexities. Either of them could (and in many cases do) entertain articles on science, religion, politics, cooking, children, military, and much much more. These are very stimulating reading points for me. In the end they simply didn't feel the need to have such an exchange with me in particular. I'm not taking any of this personally. I understand that they have their own lives and not everyone is able to form these kinds of internet relationships of highly questionable priority. I understand perfectly if the internet simply isn't a priority for some people. I have such moments myself on many occasions. I'll simply move on and sort through the vast sea of new people that awaits an explorer such as myself.

Huh?
Where do you think the people (whom you have just described) come from? Do you think they appear out of thin air magically? They did not simply spontaneously leap into existence on myspace or any other medium for communication. They are persons in our world, in our cities, in our communities, and perhaps even some of our neighbors. People don't want to acknowledge that do they? People want to believe their communities are without such persons......and then they're completely shocked to see on the news some story of how a killer went nuts or something of the sort within their neighborhood. Then the reporters see that people are coming out of their houses to say things like, "I can't believe this happened. This was such a quiet peaceful town. Nothing like this has ever happened here in all of my memory. I simply can't believe this could happen here. I never would have suspected it."
Oh how selective some people can choose to be in their opinions and views of the people around them. Methinks those people would change their tune if they sat down for only 10 minutes to speak with one of the town's law enforcement officers and community leaders. They didn't get their jobs by assuming that people are generally well-to-do. No indeed! They got their jobs based on a simple historic fact inherent to ALL communities: crime is a part of any and all societies. What portion, whether great or small, can be debated until the cows come home. But the fact remains that it is inherent and cannot be ignored. In fact it must be planned for when starting a new city. A town Sheriff can be elected based on his record of handling such crimes.
Myspace is a community. It is extremely young and we have no proverbial sheriff with which to begin to appropriately regulate matters of basic law. Give it time. Until such time that it does receive a necessary community tool(essentially law enforcement) many people may choose to be unassociated as they feel is appropriate. I think it can be likened to driving into a fledgling city, not but a few years old, and seeing very few of its citizens adhering to the law...snow houses abundant, thievery, and deliberate inconsideration for your neighbor. In real life of course....who would want to live or even visit a city of such behavior? As you suggested: Other persons whom subscribe to such lawless environments that's who...growing in number....a breeding ground as you call it. How long will the rest of the world allow something like that to continue? I believe it won't be long and authorities may indeed be brought in to do what they can.
Edit: Perhaps a good comparison between it and Heroes Community is in order. There are many distinct and significant differences between the two.

You have this same group of sickos living right next door you, so to speak. Myspace has them, HC probably has one or two, and everyday we shop next to them, work next them, and some of us are unaware that we even live with them.
So MV, it is nice to know your concerned but Myspace is well on its way to providing some safety nets to catch these creeps in.

Most of these people never do anything but whine and cut themselves. And I hop they cut themselves "down the street", not "across the street", if you understand what this means. I'm just tired of them spilling out from myspace into the rest of the internet and into general society as well. I'm talking about emos.
Now, with child molesters, it's similar. Some of them might have thoughts, but not act on them. However, with the photos of people on myspace, they might stalk the people and maybe they would do something. Even if they wouldn't, they would stare at the photos (and maybe do more than stare), and that is not a pleasant thought for those pictured.
