The graphics was included in the Beta version of the game. Apparently, they discarded it at some point. [We know there were other units intended as well - a Centaur, a Naga and a Crystal Dragon have been rumored, though the later might have been an early version of the Emerald Dragon.] There's a thread in the Modding Section where you might see some more graphics (called something with MOR 2.0 Mod).

if you use that pheonix and fire bird, i might just have to go back to the drawing board.
has anyone else had ideas about an alternative Conflux lineup?

Lvl 1: Wisp -> Mirage Wisp
Lvl 2: Air Ele -> Tornado Ele
Lvl 3: Water Ele -> Frost Ele
Lvl 4: Fire Ele -> Lava Ele
Lvl 5: Earth Ele -> Volcano Ele
Lvl 6: Energy Ele -> Spirit Ele
Lvl 7: Combo Ele -> Master Ele/Firebird -> Pheonix

That would be the re-introduction of the Heroes 3 Conflux. It would probably have the very same problems that that specific faction had, but who knows, it might work.

My theme is like in H3. Just a bunch of elemental ruled by the elementalists(heroes). I know you hate the H3 Conflux, but it was one of my favorite towns and I played it if I didn't feel like playing Necro or Castle.

Actually, I didn't hate the Conflux town. It was one of the most powerfull, if imballenced, towns, and I had lots of fun playing this town - I did feel, however, that it had some units that worked very badly in the game - Ice Elemental, Magma Elemental and Magic Elemental were never that good units - and I'd like to see a different approach that would work better.

i don't hate the H3 conflux, i thought it was a okay idea, but it didn't have a grounding theme (like medieval knights for haven and arabian nights for academy). i just think it would be interesting to see how a themed conflux turned out.

the pyramid looked so mesoamerican... anyway. if you radically change the upg system, it will be a pain in the arse for mapmakers. if you let it be the same, its a really dull town.
so.
i see no future for this town.
