Yeah, but 4 is not realistic. They might do 3, but that would indeed be a surprise. Expansion packs probably don't sell as well as the standard game, so from a profit view, I think 4 expansions would be bad bussiness.

Yes, I did. But I don't really think these games are comparable. I think the target audience is very different, both in nature and in size, and I think that makes a huge diffence in potential market value. Of course, I might just be too conventional in my beliefs.

I agree with alcibiades, Nival and Ubisoft wont make that much money on 4 Expansions. And since HoF has been this expansive i dont think next expansion will be sold that much... So i guess on 2 or 3... Hopefully 2! Lets get an end to this story

if you just ended the seires now it wouldnt be very exciting would it? i personally think that in the second it should include...
one whole new faction: Naga/Orc (perfere orc, but nagas ok)
8 new neutrals (need a few more of these)
7 new spells
and in the second it should include....
1 whole new faction: Orc/Naga (which ones doesnt go first)
another renegade thing, but this time for Orc (Desert Orcs, Mountainish Orc)
4 neutrals
3 spells

Why only 7 and 3 new spells, respectively? Personally, I think there are plenty of spells to add for a total of at least 4 spells at each level in each school ...

Well, we know new spells are coming. Also, more renegades is dumb! we don't need more, at least not yet. If it's going to sell, an expansion must be all new! My hopes
one whole new faction: Nagas would rock, there aren't enough water units.
4 new neutrals.

At first: More Dragons are as stupid, as if you put any new kind of Renegades in this game. Because for both of them, there ARE ENOUGH!
And you said 6 spells and i count 8 spells there. These spells were already discused in the drachenwald.forum, and as an result, we knew that these spells were already for the first addon, but Nival didnt finish them. But a Modification, puts the spells back into the game. Nagas rock? Awww, don't think so. Yes there are not so many water creatures, but the Mithology says, Nagas are Guardians. This Big Warcraft-Naga Thing is not real a NAGA-THING. So a Water-Faction as an Naga-Faction?Nope. I think there will be any kind of Orc Faction, or like they say at the end of the campaign: THE FREE CITIES. But i really don't know what it means. They say: "I don't think Orcs have any kind of demonic circles, so i will g search at the free cities at first"<-Raelag. So, let's hope, if there will be an orc-faction or a free-city faction?

No more dragons, more spells yes, maybe a whole new type of magic? just to make it more fun... Orc naga, who cares?! We will get something... Neutrals they come and go... Neutrals are just creatures that belong to no town so they go around and roam the world ... I deeply hope for a whole new magic school, i dont think there is enough, or atleast not enough spells.. I dont know what this School of magic should be about, lets try some new things.. Thats what this season of HoMM is about, as i see it. Many new things happened in this game, They are trying to create a new and more fun HoMM 3 (well, that cannot be done HoMM3 for ever) But they try their best, and they are trying to satisfie us hungry fans ... So give them some kind of chance ...

Just wondering...Are there orcs in Dark Messiah? Since they are supposed to be of demon blood I wonder how their new incarnation will be.Green hopefully
Also about Heresh are you sure?I always found it strange that Asha was also worshipped as a dark/order goddess by the necros.What about Markal's secrets of resurrection(Nicolai's ritual) that even Elrath's archangels didn't have?On the other hand if there were 3 gods from the cosmic egg how do we just know of Asha and Urgash?Maybe they got rid of him too early for historical records to write down?
Just finished HoF and it made a lot more sense than H5.It confirmed my suspicions,made me like more the campaign characters from the original(Yes,even Isabel whom I hated) and had an interesting ending that makes you think of all the subtle implications so far.The storyline progresses at a good pace while keeping the future veiled in mystery.Sadly some things are not explained and are left to our imagination.Just details but a good writer should not leave anything unexplained.

Well according to the interview with Fabrice on the age of heroes site there will be one more expansion in addition to hammers of fate. That sounds good to me, eight is enough factions.
My impression (and that of sir charles on the ubi forum) is that those spells are for the second expansion.
So should I finish the original campaigns before playing the expansion campaigns? I'm on C5 M5.

hmm... It sucks big time if we wont have new spells before next Expansion :S But well, no reason to put new spells in the game through a patch... Hmm... maybe we will get a lot more then just those?.. I hope so...
Elvin i really hope we get green orcs Every other color would just be wrong :S But havn't you seen the orcs, in dark messiah? Just download the demo

I remembered the orange tainted orcs from warcraft and thought that maybe ubival would try a new innovative look( ) since the orcs here are of demon blood.Let's stick to the fundamentals,shall we?
I'm all for innovation but some things must be left untouched.
Yesterday I also understood what was bugging me about Andrei.As a prince he was Isabel's son but Isabel and the others left alone Sheogh and she had already given birth.Seems Biara took Andrei with her to Talonguard to keep him close and supervise him but was kidnapped by the rebels.Then he went with the dwarves and I don't remember more info on his fate.He'll probably end up somewhere without knowledge of who he is to be named Sareth eventually.Makes you wonder what his fate is since we can't know what the canon ending in DMMM is.
But how did the real Isabel end up with Raelag without anyone knowing something.Seems they were teleported to the Silver Cities and parted ways.

errr? Andrei ain't Isabells son? Is he? I though he was a Nephew, so he could get Isabel (biara) off the throne!
Isabell and Raelag are lovers... So they took Isabell to the silver Cities cured her(hopefully they did) Then they met up again in this place where they could have peace and such... But you cannot flee from the past...

I could be mistaken but since they call him prince I assumed...But even so Godric went home with the fake Isabel,he never noticed the difference or the switch?Raelag left with Isabel unnoticed too?Or did he fall in a plot hole?

yeah well the finish movie in the first game showed us that the Isabell godric had with him was Fake... But how could they take 2 isabells back with them? Were they blind ? Well, raelag picked the real one and Godric must be slapping himself pretty bad atm. he picked the wrong... Actully i dont get this Isabell thing.. ? They took the real Isabell to the Silver Cities hopefully to preforme the ritual on her? Then Biara sneaked in to the throne room back in Griffin Empire and took over the power and became madness itself? Then Raelag and Real isabell took off to make love or something? And no one tried / tries to stop Biara? The Whole Isabell thing is to confusing !

I think Orc is better than Nagas. Nagas live in the southern island/swamp, and Orcs lived in the East.

in the end of the 3rd campaign Raelag tells Tieru that there are no demon cultists among the orcs so he'll go to the free cities of the east. That's the new faction.

But why then, I wonder, are there no Capital for the Free Cities on the Heroes 5 map, but only on the Heroes 6 (?) map? And why is there instead a city on the western coast?
