Many runes and luck that improves them. What's not to like? They are all generally good but Karli is of another class.

Yep, Karli is ridiculous. When I see someone choosing 3 VERY tough hero combinations (because they can't win otherwise), I always pick Karli as one hero and leave the other 2 on random. Let's just say I almost always win when I do that.
One thing I like to do is queue up runes. I do the one with attacking multiple enemies (don't attack), then do the double attack rune and attack. You'll hit everyone around you twice...

As he is now, yes.
To balance him, his luck should be reduced to 0 and his berserkers should be cut from 70 down to 35.
That would balance him pretty much.

That's true. All the runemages have too many resources in Duel. It makes it where you can use ALL the runes multiple times and never run out.
There is one final thing I thought about with Karli that should be balanced. That is the ability to use the "attack everyone around you" rune without having suffered losses yet. The most imbalanced thing I do with Karli is take the "big fat men" (you know who I'm talking about - that's what I call them  ) with chain strike, use the attack everyone around rune immediately, teleport all the way across and hit the enemy directly in the middle. You chain down the entire stack 2 to 3 times. It sometimes kills 1/2 the army! That is ridiculous.

When I play Duel Mode - Hot seat, I don't have almost any resources to use runes with. Karli for instance only get to use "Charge" and "Elemental Immunity".
What is the case for Resources in Dual mode?

You must have a bugged version of heroes then. In some versions only runes you can use are those 2 you mentioned.

But I have the latest patch, and everything else seems OK (except for the known bugs). Perhaps it is only a bug in "Hot seat" mode ??
I DO have the resources for the heroes, but it says "Used" for all of them except "Charge" and "Immunity"
Could someone try it in Hot Seat perhaps, and see if it works there?

That's a 2.1 known bug and it appears both on duel mode and hotseat.

It's not a bug. This problem occurs with a specific no-cd crack only. To make the runes work, play with the original exe file and dvd or find another way to play without dvd. You can only blame yourself for this, but not Nival.

Interesting. Thanks for that. I do not feel bad for using a No-CD as I spent hundreds of dollars on Heroes games though, but putting in that CD all the time is time-comsuming. I will do it now then, since I'll like to try out the Runemages with Runes this time. But they are already very powerful with only rune of charge. I can only imagine Karli...

But their creatures are not great though, they don't do enough damage. Without runes and high light magic.
