Whatever. I am done arguing with someone who obviously doesn't know how to play this game properly when he first tries to argue that Spectrals are better than Blacks and then says he didn't. Now he says getting firebreathed on retals happens. Do you seriously not know how to plan at all? Can you not think behind one step? If you position your units correctly you can't get firebreathed on retal. If you don't, it's your fault you set yourself up. Maybe you'll understand if I use checkers as an example: Your opponent can't double/triple/etc. jump you in checkers unless YOU made a mistake. Same here. Now you are saying people who actually know how to play should get more experience? More experience what? Losing?
I don't even know why I'm wasting my time here on this thread. I laid things out for you in black and white. I even fleshed out your 1 black vs. 2 spectrals just to show you how farfetched it was (even though the ratio is 2 vs. 3). 2 extra speed makes no difference? Are you on crack or something?

Not cool. Why is everyone beating up on blacksk8er?
As far as breath attack goes, it could be due to a simple misclick. I remember in heroes 2 there was a bug where you would set your unit to attack on one side of a shooter and it would fly to the other side. Also remember the battlefield is small.
Dungeon and Necro both have tough to get level 7 units. By comparison, the colossi aren't too bad and the devils aren't too bad.
2.1 does make necro more interesting so I will add to the voices suggesting that you get it blacksk8er. (Spirit link) mark of the necromancer becomes a core skill replacing skeleton archers so you get an unlimited mana resource very quickly.
Come back and post some strategies after playing 2.1 and hopefully everyone can behave nicely. This is heroes community guys!

Dud, we do not attack him, but he writes strange n sometimes silly things. Moreover he is mentoring all of us, as if he played heroes longer than anyone on this forum.
So, maybe that is the reason, loads of dudz are frustrated and attack him...

If im not mistaken, it was you who asked me of my CV, what are you complaining abut now? And the bloody specs who all are arguing about COULD beat blacks in the hands of THE SAME HERO (lets say one who has attack and def 0), and maybe the person with the blacks would not be as good as that with specs (of course at that specific 2:3 ratio)
OF COURSE not in a milion years a necro with specs will beat a warlock with his blacks, even if the ratio was 5:2 sometimes!
And the damn firebreath, on a small battlefield with large creatures is it so hard even for a good player to miscalculate that the computer will send another LARGE creature and make the firebreath-monster retaliate on a diagonal so that another of his creatures was affected? Yeah, i must be REALLY stupid to make such an AWfFUL mistake!

I just wanted to support the necro with a review wich i thought you guys talked about in a previous thread, and i was wrong. Now every freakin lifeless noob on this forum wants to proove that hes so smart because i made a review about an old version, and he is playing the new one so cool, so smart... (is 2 months that old?anyway...)
There are 3 pages here in this (yea, very funny, i aggree ) post, in wich all kinds of would-be gamers try to dig up mistakes and facts to proove THEY are the more experienced! This is just plain childish, in 3 pages you argued about: specs and a freakin firebreath retaliation (thanx to those who informed me about the 2.1 though, but im w8ting for the second "add-on")
A simple "thats a good strategy but its outdated" would have sufficed and the topic could have been closed. (somebody proove me wrong, after he has read that review, that it isnt a good strategy for 2.0)
Ill leave you guys to continue arguing about whatever you want, i made the account only for that particular post which i considered to be helpful. And NO Lesij, im not here to make an impression, i do have a life of my own, even if im a gamer. In fact, ill go look for the delete account button right now, but i should have done it rigt after ive posted the review.
It's just a game, get real!

We where harsh for you BlackSk8er but if you would been here for longer you would understand why everyone things you are noob. Well you are here at least
Anyway like PhoenixReborn said this is community and we should behave. I hope you get to play the latest patch of Heroes V or next expansion and perhaps then making a comeback whit new strategies.

I don't play much on Necro but certainly I admit that Necro is the most powerful faction of all. Due to they already got Raise Dead spell just on Mage guild lvl 2, that sure makes them very advantage during combat.

In earlygame it can conserve your troops but later on it can be more harmful than beneficial. Maybe only with exp summoning and master of life though -20% of hp hurts.

it's just for creeping, dude. It's good for that and nothing more. Maybe it can help a bit vs. early rushes, but that's really all.

True, but creeping is a critical part of the game. In duel, Raise Dead isn't a very useful spell compared to others, but in the main game it makes a huge difference, and allows Necros to generally outnumber the oposition at all times.
