- Heroes from Necropolis have Zombies instead of Imps at the start of the map;
- Zombies replaced Imps, Mummies replaced Cerberi and Dark Champions replaced Devils.
You'll be able to recruit Zombie, Mummies and Dark Champions, but the dwellings inside will look like old creatures and also on adventure map.
Maybe when will have more free time, will make more adjustments

This file is not available for download anymore. Is there another link or something...? Yeah, I know there's an all-in-one file, but I'd like the single version of this one only. Thanks.

Not to veer too far off topic, but does anyone know if it's possible to extract creature sprites from Homm4? I've searched the forums long and wide as well as google, but I can't seem to find anything that works. Resedit2 can recognize many of the files in the homm4 data folder, but not the creature animations.

okey we know how to change champion with catapult but i want to replace all creatrues in all towns , can some give there codes or at last one more example how to change one creature with another (including neutrals like mummy ,dark champion....)

also post more codes for monster abilities for now we have only level 1,2 offsets and for begining codes for replacing imps with zombies ,cerberi with mummy and devil with dark champion i know there is a mod to dwonload where it is done but i want to do it for my self

another question im using program H4ExtractBuild ,i extracted the music.h4r and replace some music files with muisc from homm3 i also renamed them asweel for example muisc file dungeon for sound.town.chaos to repalce the orginale file and packed it h4r file again ,but there isnt my muisc in game all files all replaced all completly gone (no music in towns) is there any problem with file format ,why game dont want to use mp3 muisc form homm3 ????

can you post th town building offsets and creature code list?
I tried to find these by myself and found few buildings, but after editing that usually game crashes when entering certain town.

no. i need the offsets for creature generators and i have already found the numbers for creatures.
i am trying to replace the creatures generated in towns like you shown with example of replacing knight to ballista. i found half of necropolis offsets in your pure necropolis version and squire's guild + cyclops cave by pure accident

Anyway, congratulations for finding numbers for creatures replecement on your own. 
but it helps changing creatures sold at creature portal, and also allows you to recruit creatures, that can't be normally recruited (megadragon, mermaid, sea monster). but you still can't recruit creatures from other alignment than the town is (except portal: no restrictions are applied to it). also you can mess the game so, nobody except you won't be able to modify it (or it would take some time to figure things out)

Thanks BAD for giving the creatures codes and solitaire345 for finding out some of your own and posting them, this topic is becoming a lot more productive 
Anyways, I have a question, does someone know the code for the hero spellbook, is it possible to add the hero spellbook on some creatures if we like it, that way the potions that are in their inventory could be cast by them.
Another question is ... would it be possible to change the creatures for summoning in combat, for example sprite with bandit and is it possible to change the number of creatures or experience points you can summon. Would changing the creature code of sprite with bandit just do the trick or is it more complicated?

no idea of spellbook codes, no time to search for them... school consumes all my time anyway: one week left to vacation. then i will try to find them, but i don't think it will be quick. maybye i will make changes by replacing creatures. unfortunately changing alignments has almost 100% chance to crash the game. maybye if creature in town won't change... (for example mantis to a dark champion) but creature portal will also sell DC instead of mantises then.
Edit: tested by changing creature numbers. hero summons air elementals with gargantuan's abilities.
Edit two: changing model names (links to data file. begins at offset .00A64D4C generates strange effects: changed monk to squire, but then Haven's castle looked like this: (link)

Hi everybody.The demo version don't let me to open the heroes4.exe
I tried a couple of other hex editor...nothing..those hexes don't
find those offsets...or adresses of creatures.I don't know how.
My heroes4.exe file is 6.56mb...in the photo of hiew32.exe is bigger
Please help

to get the real offset you must substract 4000000 from hiew offset.

Easily? Even windows calculator supports hex conversion.
But...

First you have to learn what actually is substraction 
Try substract 3 from 5, tell me when you manage to count it.
