If I remember correctly the minigame, powerful creatures of all faction were much much stronger than low tiers. You just need to stop thinking about the odds in traditional Heroes terms.

Hi again, I didn't give any news these days so there is something to say 
Most of the players belong to an alliance now and some are fighting each other. This looks pretty exciting, although my alliance is rather paceful for now.
The poor ones who didn't get any alliance are constantly attacked by powerful players, I assume that they'll leave the game soon 
It seems that the devs wait for the players to be completely ready to teach us about the real goal of this part of the game : Asha's tears. The first alliance able to get and keep 10 of them will win the game.
The full version will include other missions like this one, sounds interesting to me, rather than an annihilation of all the other players (that could take years  )
I am slightly improving my kingdom day after day, getting my third city next monday, and maybe tier 6 creatures in my first one(Rani Rakshasa ).
Just notice that now, a city siege can last about 3-5 days, and the most powerful buildings can take 2 days to be built. But I just keep playing, I like it a lot

Just UI, for those who didn't get into the beta but are interested how the game looks like. Pretty standard stuff for any browser-based strategy. If you mean how I got the pics, I googled them up.

It was edn 2009 at first, but since we don't have it now its most likely at some time in 2010...
Wonder how they are going to make the payment, and the game itself, if its more like online H5, and they give us H6 after year... who will even pay to play it? Maybe they are going to wait for H6 first... or for Kingdoms before H6...

New content available on the official page. I was able to to create an account but not to launch the game (the Play button only refreshed the page).

I was not able to give me a user name. Just give them a email adress and the username was automatically generated. Was it the same when you registered?

Seems like they might make it free entirely to generate interest in the series as a whole. In fact, the very first info page tells you it's free to play.

Tried to play it again today. I got a message that the game was not yet launched in my country, along with an option to be notified when this happens.
Some new information has been added aswell.
-4 factions (no elves nor the two expansion races)
-set after Dark Messiah. To be precise, the bad ending where Urgash is set free
-Heroes are a bit more versatile, being able to learn up to 3 classes. They can also spy on enemies.
