Stacey claims the berries, and makes sure she can find this place again. She then decides to look around the ruins a bit, since she has nothing else better to do right now.
((If nothing happens, she'll just head back to town, and either check on Misty's training, or just head to the center))

Mina went back to town after planting her Berries; while she wanted to explore the underground portion of the ruins, she didn’t feel like stumbling around in the dark and there were a few other things she wanted to do before bed. She decided she’d check them out tomorrow, and maybe take a look around that tower. But first things first.
She returned to the Pokemon Center and took out her Pokedex. It was then that she saw the message from Christian.
Must’ve gotten it while I was training…
Christian sent you a message!
Hey people! How're ya all doing? Hey, sorry about earlier when I requested heavy radio silence, but I was in the middle of heavily defended enemy territory...gathering intel...yeah, I was gathering intel! I wasen't struggeling to sneak out of a brandra prison or anything! Anyway, I got some valuable intel for you. Selene attacked [inset whatever/wherever/whoever Selene attacked] and she [inset match outcomes]. Also, if you wanted to know why I asked you to stay out of Ternai, it was because I overheard them talking about how there were gonna take back the city today, and the talked about how they were gonna be lead by some kinda bigshot leader, who has a freaking Moltres! Sorry for not telling you earlier. Well, I am struggeling with figuring out where I am now, so sorry that I am not much more of help...Christian out!
P.S. Have you guys ever heard of something called "the Starlight Squad"?
Mina tried to decide whether or not he was lying. On the one hand, warning them out of town for that reason seemed exactly like something he would do. On the other hand…
…don’t worry about it Mina. You’re probably over-thinking things.
Still. She resolved to be cautious, before pushing the matter from her mind. Then she turned back to her original task, fiddling with her Phone App.
After a few minutes Fate’s face appeared on the Pokedex screen.
“Hi Fate! How’re you doing?” Mina said to him.
“Oh, hi Mina! Where are you? Spencer called a few days ago and said you went to Dewdrop. He and his dad are back in Hillsbreak and Bandra’s been kicked out!”
“I’ve heard! We’re in Ternai Town right now. When are you guys going to be rejoining us?”
Fate’s face fell. “I don’t think we will be. Elder Saha had a fit when we got back and she saw I had this,” he held up his cast. “She and my dad talked and they don’t want Dove and me to keep traveling with you guys. She—Elder Saha—says it’s too dangerous.”
Mina restrained herself from rolling her eyes only with effort. Yeah, like the whole region is a perfect bastion of safety right now. Conversationally, she said, “Well if you’re not coming back, could you send the rest of the Slashpeak stuff our way? We’re planning to be here for at least another day or so, and I think we’re going to need it.”
“Sure thing. It should get there some time in the next few days; tomorrow if I tell them it’s for the war effort.” Fate made to hang up.
“Wait!”
“What?”
Mina tried to think of a tactful way to put what she wanted to say. “…how do you take people on and off the group ‘dex network?” Hastily she added, “Since you’re not going to be here, we’re going to need to know how in case we run into any more stragglers.”
“Oh! It’s not too hard,” Fate explained the specifics quickly. “…and that’s all there is to it.”
“Okay, thanks! Take care of yourself!”
Fate ended the connection and Mina put her ‘dex away. She considered calling Spencer to check up on him, but decided against it; she’d already told him what she needed to say. The only point would be to ask him if Poliwag and Onix had gotten home safely, and she trusted him enough to take care of that.
Instead she found herself a spot reasonably remote from the rest of town and called out all her Pokemon.
“Okay guys, we’ve still got a bit of daylight left so we’re going to do this again.”
She cleared a patch of vegetation-free ground and began.
((Two hours later…))
Once again Mina found it getting too dark to see the marks in the ground. She called back her Pokemon and took them back to the Center for dinner, then went to bed.

Stacey:
You discover another plot of dirt in your explorations, but for this one it appears someone else has found it first: the soil is carefully tended and looks to have been recently watered. You also discover a pit with steep steps leading down; occasionally, the sounds of brushing and fascinated muttering can be heard. Other than that you find little of interest.
((If you want to go inside the ruins let me know; otherwise I’ll auto you to the Pokemon Center for sleep.))

Brona stared at the decrypted message. "Oh (insert the F-word)." he growled and hurried out of his room, forgetting his leather jacket. I'll have to find this Mina-chick, she seems to know alot of what's going on. I can't decide this without discussing it with someone. he thought, as he started asking around if anyone had seen her.

Stacey indeed finds this interesting enough to check out. She calls out Slugma, to assist with the lighting, and heads in. The noises are the most curious, so she heads towards them.

Nurse Joy is able to direct you to Mina; apparently she checked into a room about fifteen minutes ago. Nurse Joy calls her Chansey and instructs the Pokemon to show you to it.

Stacey:
You descend down into the dark.
Once at the bottom, you find yourself in a cavern of sorts; the floor and nearby walls are obviously smoothed down artificially, but the floor drops out a few yards in. The space beyond that is a more natural cavern extending out of sight; in that direction Slugma’s flames reflect off of water in place of floor, though you can’t tell how deep it is.
To your left someone has pitched a tent, and various archeological tools are scattered around the small campsite. To your right is an entrance of old, weathered stone, beyond which you can see a man in standard archeological attire dimly illuminated in the light of his flashlight. He is the source of the sounds; he is brushing away at one wall, making notes on what he sees and murmuring to himself.

“Ahhh!” The archeologist jumps and shines the flashlight in your direction, then looks you over with it. “Sorry, I thought you were one of the Unown. Are you the same one who was up there earlier? No, I guess your voice is different. I’m studying the ruins here, although I can’t seem to get any further in than this chamber. But the glyphs in here are very interesting all by themselves, do you want to see?”

Mina opens the door; from the looks of things she hasn’t even gotten ready for sleep yet.

Mina opened the door expecting a late night call from one of her friends; instead she found Brona waiting outside.
“Oh, it’s you,” she said warily. “What do you need?”

Stacey stepped back at the man's reaction, almost tripping over some rubble. She regained her balance, and stepped forward again, as the man started speaking to her.
The question about being the same one as earlier made Stacey think that perhaps he had met with Mina, since she was looking to plant some berries somewhere. Perhaps those were her's that she found before entering this place.
She stepped closer to the wall.
"Sure, I'll take a look. By the way, the name's Stacey."

"Good thing you're not asleep, I need to talk to someone and I've noticed you seem secure in charge." Brona took a deep breath. "I got a message from Lijan that they need our assistance at the shrine, they're holed up and Elren is injured. We are to leave for them when we have a chance to. Do you think we should gather the group and leave at once, or rest the night?" He added grudgingly "I guess I won't get that gym battle anytime sdooon."

You wander around town for a while, checking out the sights, looking through the mart and wandering past the Gym, where some of the others are training. You note the Mart seems unusually empty on your way past and see the stalls outside selling various oddments—mulch, cologne, Contest accessories—but eventually you decide that it’s been a busy enough day with the Bandra attack and the training that maybe you should just go to bed early. So you do, checking in at a room at the Pokemon Center.

“No, I’m not.” But a spark of familiarity kindled at the sound of the name. Christian had mentioned it in his text. Mina stepped out of her room, closing the door behind her. “Maybe you should start at the beginning,” she suggested.

“I’m Ignis, nice to meet you.” Ignis sounds eager to show off his work to someone; he sets most of his tools down and guides you out of the chamber. He flashes his light around the entrance frame, illuminating the glyphs there.
“These are the first set we ran into when the expedition started. You’ll note the lip at the bottom of the door here; we think that might have meant the area was prone to flooding when this place was built.”
“It’s pretty straightforward on the surface, and basically reads ‘the Unown live here’.”
Once you indicate you’ve seen your fill, he leads you back inside the ruins proper.
“The rest of these I’m still working on.”
Left Wall:
Far Wall:
Right Wall:
“I had a theory that the glyphs gave some hint to opening the doors, but it’s been a bust so far.” Ignis sounds briefly crestfallen. But he regains his composure and flashes the light into the four corners of the room, revealing the glyphs:    
“Those are the Unown shapes that appear in this room. They’re identical to the glyphs at other archeological sites around the world—we’ve got an incomplete catalogue on record and one of most of the Unown shapes captured. They’re Pokemon, you see; we were hoping to finish the catalogue and catch the missing shapes while we were here, but when Team Bandra came to call most of the expedition left.”
His sullen tone suggests that abandoning the site because of a group of dangerous criminals was unprofessional on the part of his colleagues. Then his tone swings abruptly to cheerful as he turns back to you.
“Was there anything else you wanted to see?” Ignis seems positively gleeful at the possibility of showing off more of his precious ruins. “Questions maybe?”

This all seemed quite confusing, but still more interesting. The idea of going into archeology, however? Not really what Stacey had pictured herself getting into.

“It’s actually very simple,” Ignis tells you eagerly. “We compare different sets of glyphs to find patterns and compare them to other languages. Context also helps, and some modern languages have similar roots. With enough data and research, we can eventually figure out what it says. Of course it’s not an exact science, and new discoveries can invalidate old assumptions, but you get that in many fields.”

"Well, why don't you take those glyphs, and patterns, and use them to figure out what these others say? At least start it, then you may be able to figure out what they are getting at. How many of those things are shown on these ones here?"

“I’ve been trying!” Ignis sounds briefly upset, and very frustrated. “But they seem to have nothing useful to say! Look at that one, that one says, as far as I can tell, ‘power in many’—but how does that open the door? It’s not a password, near as I can tell—I’ve tried shouting it, singing it, even tapping it on the doors in Morse code! But it’s like shouting a password at a door with a regular handle! It’s almost as if the two are completely unrelated except that they happen to be in the same room. Maybe the glyphs are a banner of sorts, an ancient billboard perhaps, but if that’s the case, how do the doors open?”

So this ‘Starlight Squad’ is on our side—or at least, not on Bandra’s. This all assumed that Brona was telling the truth—but Mina was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now. He didn’t seem the sort to lie, and he had helped them fend off a Bandra attack. Time to forgive and forget, I guess.
“You know Christian?” Mina nodded to herself, looking thoughtful. “All right. Meet me in the lobby—I’ll wake the others. We’re going to have to discuss this together.”

Whole group except for Brona and Christian:
At about 8 PM Mina awakens the group (and Adrina by accident, who promptly goes back to sleep) and tells everyone to meet her in the lobby. She looks very serious as she explains:
“Our new friend” she not-quite-hesitates over the word, clearly not used to thinking of Brona that way, “has a bit of a problem on his hands, and he wants our help with it.”

After finishing her training, and checking on the berries, Misty recieves the message. "Gonna be a long day." she muttered to herself, but she went to where she was supposed to go anyhow. At least soon she would be guaranteed to have enough berries to evolve feebas. That was always a good thing.

"Well, that one looks like...roots? No, lightning? Yeah. I think that's it. This one to the other side looks like a storm, or maybe just rain. That far one looks kind of like fire. I wonder if... But power in many? Not that I could... I only have one. One that I'm not sure I could get over there. If you'll excuse me, I need some rest. I'll see if I can bring the others back tomorrow. Bye!"
Stacey finds her way out, and heads to the Pokemon Center to get some rest.
After barely being able to get to sleep, she is a little slow to awaken, even with Mina attempting to assist. She stumbles around to get dressed, and eventually manages to get to the lobby to hear Mina's announcement.
"Me too. Well, not really me. There was some archeologist that I found. There were these doors, with some glyphs. I'm thinking we need an electric and a water pokemon. Fire too, but I got that covered. Hopefully. Not totally sure, though. However, this can wait until tomorrow morning."
