Mina came over to look at the door more closely; she’d been toeing through the debris littering the room while Stacey examined the door.
“I was thinking seaweed, but I can see Poison.” Mina looked thoughtful. “Do you want to give it a shot? Or we could look around more, and maybe find some clues…Personally I’d like to stop by the Pokemon Center before we open anything else, but that’s just me. We can probably beat off another attack without too much trouble, now that we know what they’re about.”

Christian:
Another voice joins the first two. “What’s all this racket over here?”
“Taskmaster Nichols, sir, I saw a trainer over here!”
“Hmph. One of ours?”
“I don’t think so, sir, he ran for it once I spotted him.”
“Huh. All right then. You, make a sweep to north, and radio if you see anything; he can’t have gotten far. You, same to the south. I’ll alert the eastern group to keep an eye out for anything suspicious.”
You can see the flashlights of the Grunts as they split off north and south of you, their footsteps making slithering sounds in the grass. The Taskmaster pulls out his radio to make contact with the other group.

((I stopped the battle because one more hit will probably KO Psyduck.  ))
The Psyduck just gazes at you, malevolently. For a moment neither of you moves. Then the Psyduck’s eyes glow and you abruptly discover you can’t move—Psyduck used Disable on you.
You then overbalance and fall in the water.
The Pokeball leaves your hand as you fall. ((Roll = 23)) As the waves engulf you, you see a bright light streaming through the water out of the corner of your vision. It seems you’re about to drown, but something tugs at your leg and pulls you back in the boat. It’s the ferry captain; he looks concerned.
“You all right lad?”
A quick glance back over the side shows you your Pokeball floating in the waves. The button has turned from translucent white to opaque, indicating it’s filled.
You caught a Psyduck! Would you like to give it a nickname?

"Oh well, that could have gone better" Zack mumbles. Turning his face towards the captain "I'm fine sir" Zack says, then quickly grabs the pokeball from the water, holding it in front of his face: "It is some powerful disable attack you got there psyduck, hmm I won't be naming you though, at least not unless we find a name that you're happy with."
A sudden fear strikes Zack, quickly checking his pockets: "Oh good, it is all there" Zack thinks, though still feeling his heart racing due to the combined experience of the near drowning and fear of having lost his friends in the water.
After calming down a bit, Zack checks his pokedex now for the location of a spheal. "Oh it seems like I'll have to go fishing again" and with that Zack is on his way once again.

Christian checks his pockets to see if he has anything with him to prove that he is a brandra officer. Then he remembers that he should not led so many people figure out what he is doing, so he decides to wait into either he is found, there is no one else here, or if he could pin down one of the guys in a 1on1.

Stacey starts heading out, and sees that Ignis is still checking things out. Likely too busy to even notice their departure.

((You’ve still got your Bandra Officer Uniform don’t you? Or did you leave that back at base?))
You wait in your chosen piece of cover until the Grunts get out of sight. The Taskmaster wanders a fair distance away to meet with another handful of Grunts (presumably the ‘eastern group’) and you are able to slip away from him while he’s preoccupied.
You’ve almost reached the road when another flashlight beam illuminates you from behind.
“Hah! Bet you thought you got away from us, didn’t you punk? I bet I’ll get a bonus for bringing you in! Wispaferyn go!”
Bandra Grunt sent out Wispaferyn!

"Buggers!" Zack says to himself: "Stupid machine! Oh well I can hardly blame the people behind it, it's not their fault this place have been wounded like that."
Zack thinks for a moment, trying to remember what he have learned: "Oh man, I knew I should have written my plan down somewhere!"
Then, all of a sudden, Zack got a grin of his face: "Ah yes of course, how could I forget" and with those words, Zack checks his pokedex for the location of the pokemon Slakoth: "Hmm, if there don't turn out to be any of those known to be around here as well, I'd have to try to see if people know about trainers with those pokemons" Zack thinks to himself, before finally writing the last piece of data into the pokedex whereby the machine starts it search.

((Going to auto you a bit here. It’s either that or I send you clear across the region, which would make joining up with the rest of the group…difficult. ))
The Pokedex informs you that there have been no Slakoth spotted nearby…not for a reasonable distance around anyway. So you head off to check the Mart and Pokemon Center for trainers who might know where you could get a Slakoth.
As it turns out, you don’t have far to look. A boy in the Mart is browsing the isles, and he’s got a Slakoth on his head.

Stacey, Mina and Misty:
The three trainers leave Ignis to his investigations and take a brief trip to the Pokemon Center. On their way out, they notice a teenage boy browsing his Pokedex; he’s soaking wet but otherwise unremarkable.
Nurse Joy takes their Pokemon and heals them up. Mina asks about the boat while they wait. ((Since I realized I forgot to have Ignis pipe up with the answer earlier. ))
“That’s the ferry that supplies our town; the tunnel in the ruins goes all the way out to sea. When Bandra took the town originally, some of us took the ferry to the coast until we could get organized and take it back. But most of the time it just brings supplies for the Mart and carries people between towns. If there’s somewhere you need to go that has a port, just talk to the ferry captain; I’m sure he’ll be happy to take you there.”
Not long after Nurse Joy finishes with the girls’ Pokemon and they return to the ruins. The boy with the Pokedex is gone, and Ignis is digging around in his tent.
“So which one should we look at first?” Mina asks. “Center door, then the right one, or the other way around?”

Stacey yells out as they enter the ruins again.
“So which one should we look at first?”
"Well, as far as we know, it doesn't matter. Let's go in the order they were opened, I guess. So, straight on!"
Stacey walks through the central door, taking a look around. Symbols, doors, or any other item of possible importance.

Stacey, Mina and Misty:
At Stacey’s call, Ignis comes out of his tent holding a battered notebook.
“Here! I thought you might be able to use this if you’re going to help with the ruins. It’s a record of all the Unown shapes we’ve been able to decipher so far.”
He hands the book to Stacey and the girls continue as they were. The central room has only one door, but there are symbols on three walls:

The symbols carved into the floor in this room are:
   
The room behind the rain door is a mirror image to the one behind the lightning door.
   
The girls also find a few more interesting items among the dirt and debris:

The Grunt calls back his Pokemon before Scyther can knock it out, but the Bug type is on top of him before he can send out its replacement. Scyther whacks the human hard with the dull side of his scythe and the Grunt crumbles to the ground unconscious.

You flee the scene. Eventually you hear shouts behind you when the rest of the Grunts find their companion unconscious, but they quickly fade away as you run. You cross over the road and continue across country towards Rieva.

Stacey puts the bone in her pack. It may be useful for something.
She studies the doors, and symbols some more. The first ones were pretty simple to figure out, after what Ignis told her the night before. Though, a couple of these were more difficult.
"Well, this last one we have viewed looks like leaves. So, maybe grass, if we're going along the lines of what the other doors were displaying. Those other two I'm not sure about. Especially the one through the central door."

“Maybe we can start by ruling out what they’re definitely not,” Mina suggested. “The center one doesn’t look like it represents Rock, so we can probably count that out. If we assume whoever build this place isn’t repeating types, that rules out Electric, Water and Fire and probably Grass too. Maybe…Ghost? Psychic?” How would you represent a Normal type? “Flying maybe?”

Pellana walks back with you to the Pokemon Center and you both get your Pokemon healed. She’s almost on her way out when she seems to remember something and turns back to you, digging something out of her pocket.
“I almost forgot. I found this in the ruins. None of my Pokemon can use it, but your Liskayo might be able to with enough training. Consider it a consolation prize,” she smiles and hands you a piece of crystal about the length of your finger.
Draloed receives a Cloudy Crystal!
