As Zack realises the others appearently decided to head back, Zack recalls his pokemons and quickly catches up to them. This is one adventure he certainly isn't going to miss out on!

Misty picks the berries, and finds the others.  She knows she won't have time to grow anymore unfortunately. ((Never mind according to the list it fits only one berry at a time )) She sells the star peice and buys 4 potions.  Whenever she finds time she will start blending the berries, and feeding the results to her Feebas.

"Yeah tell me something I don't know." Christian smiled as he heard that the Tyrasin was in a bad mood "I will make that guy become friendly if it is the last thing I do!" he exclaims as he takes his pokémon back. Christian calls out Hitmonchan and Tyrasin "Good morning lads!" Christian said and shaked hands with Hitmonchan before reaching out to Tyrasin.

After shaking hands with((or not shaking hands with)) Tyrasin, Christian turns back to the nurse and asks "Do you have a copy machine here in the center?"

Misty, Stacey, Zack and Mina:

((A note on Berry growing; I was going to keep track of soil drying values and so on, but that has proved to be a bit of a pain. So we’re just going by a tweaked version of the Bulbapedia mechanic, with Growth mulch requiring you to water one additional time for max Berries and Gooey mulch allowing you to skip one watering.))

((Roll = 61, 67))

Misty harvests her Berries ((+12 total)) and completes her shopping ((4499+4900-(300*4) = 8,199 remaining)) before all four of you meet up at the ruins.

----------------

Mina waited patiently until everyone got back before heading into the newly-opened room. She was keeping Natu out; no telling what they might run into after that big swarm the last time. She peered cautiously ahead of her before stepping carefully inside, scanning the walls and floor with the light from Stacey’s lantern. There were two things she quickly realized:

It was empty.

And a dead end.

She walked farther in to get a closer look; there were no doors save the one she’d came in. Nothing in the corners—the room was circular and didn’t have any. There was a ring of symbols on the floor, but the circle of stone they enclosed was perfectly blank; no carvings like the doors had had. It didn’t even have the ever-present litter that was in most of the complex!

But the circle of stone shifted slightly underfoot. It was loose. Mina glanced down and tapped her foot experimentally; it sounded…

hollow.

“Guys, I think there’s something under here!”

----------------

Misty, Stacey, Zack and Mina:

The last batch of symbols:

Nothing else.

----------------

Christian:

Tyrasin draws back and glares at you, apparently in no mood to shake hands ((no surprise there )).

Nurse Joy gives your Tyrasin a worried look before answering you pleasantly. “We have a scanner and printer in the back; what did you need copied?”

Stacey kneels to the floor, trying to find any signs of something that may be lifted. Trap door, hidden compartment, whatever. This was so exciting. Sure, she almost felt like she was close enough in reaction as Ignis. Her inner archeologist sprouting out, but she didn't care.

Zack steps a bit back towards the exit, not really sure what to expect this time around. He keeps his pokeball in a firm grip, ready to unleash if needed.

"Hey guys, I am new to pokemon and all, but can't we prepare our pokemons for the battle by sending them out and let them boost their attack, defenses, transform and what they might need before we get attacked again?"

"Misty, if you let dubba transform now, then my mr. mime can copycat it right away".

"I don't think it works that way.  Most likely everything would fade by the time we got attacked, and then our pokemon would just be more tired.  I guess it doesn't hurt to try though.  Since we know Dark do well against these things, Go Evan and Dubba!"

She calls out the two pokemon.

"Dubba, use transform into Evan!"

Mina debated telling Zack they’d already used those sort of tactics during the last Bandra attack, but finally decided against it. She was crouched down helping Stacey remove the circular stone slab and didn’t feel like wasting her breath. They’d just managed to edge the stone up a quarter inch or so when Stacey left it midway through and it suddenly became much heavier—Stacey’s Snorlax, among several other of the group’s Pokemon milling around and on top of the stone slab.

((I remind you that we’re trying to open something that is on the FLOOR.))

The stone went slamming down again and Mina only narrowly avoided having her fingers crushed.

Oy. This was getting ridiculous.

“Natu,” Mina addressed her little bird, hiding her annoyance. “Could you Teleport this stone slab out of here?”

“Nat!”

Her little Psychic type fluttered down to a clear patch on the slab and Teleported with it into the next room.

----------------

Misty, Stacey, Zack and Mina:

The slab vanishes, and the group gets a brief view of the shallow storage space underneath before Stacey’s Snorlax, having lost her footing with part of the floor vanishing, slips and falls belly-first into the resulting hole. Her feet wiggle uselessly as she tries unsuccessfully to free herself.

Mina’s Natu teleports back to her shoulder about then. He gets one good look at the stuck Normal type and begins to titter in what is unmistakably laughter. Mina silences him by the simple expedient of reaching up and clamping his beak shut with one hand.

“Stacey…?” Mina deadpans. “Would you mind…?” She gestures towards the Normal type with her free hand.

((No fight in this chamber people. Normally I might be obliging and conjure up something anyway since you’re all so dead-set on getting into another battle, but as mamga and wog have been very patiently waiting on us to finish this dungeon, I’m not.))

----------------

Christian:

“Oh yes, we use it for business letters sometimes,” she tells you cheerfully. Nurse Joy leads you into the back where Center’s printer and scanner are kept.

“I’ll be up front if you need me,” she tells you before leaving you alone.

"Allright." Christian thinks as he copys the envelope and get a exact copy of it out. "Now..." Christian looks around to make sure nobody sees him before finding a good spot to sit down with his back against the wall "..Time to see what this information is all about." Christian opens the envelope, reads it, copy the information before putting the original letter into the fake envelope and close it.
Christian puts the copied information and the original envelope into his pocket before looking around trying to find a papersomething((cuts paper into tiny bits or something like that. The way you destroy papers without burning them)).

Misty, Stacey, Zack and Mina:

Stacey’s Snorlax vanishes back into her Pokeball, revealing the contents of the space once again. Most of what’s inside has long since decayed or fallen to pieces, but in the remains are a Sun Stone, a sparkling Nugget of gold, and an old book. The book seems strangely out of place; it’s in much better repair that it has any right to be, and symbols bearing no resemblance to the Unown markings in the rest of the ruins are cut into its cover— Mina recognizes one of them as the same symbol she found during the group’s original foray into the Spectral Dimension. Three sets of leather straps bind it shut, each set coming together at an unmarked clay medallion on the front.

"Should we take a look inside it, or just let it be and report to proper authorites?"

Christian:

You open the envelope and find a letter inside. It reads:

Quote:
As you may have heard, Lionel has been arrested with the reinstatement of Roden. Since then we have been driven out of Hillsbreak and are still running. We may have to give up our foothold in this part of the region if the people of that town are allowed to continue rallying without interference.

Continuing on.

We lost 25% of our Grunt taskforce during the battle at Hillsbreak. A few of them trickle back in from time to time, but most of them were arrested after the fight or caught in the subsequent search. We have also been unable to take the Dewdrop Base despite our best efforts. I had hoped we could make a fresh attempt once Dream left, but no.

In other news, we recently had a Taskmaster and several Grunts report in after they suffered a sound defeat—they have not been forthcoming about the details on who beat them, but I have my suspicions. Of course the presence of those trainers that far from their last reported location means other questions are raised. Regardless, we will be falling back to Neid. I will keep you updated as we prepare the grunts still in the base.

Our Pokemon experiments in the Dewdrop Base were, of course, total losses—only a few packets of notes and a file or two remains. I would have expected the scientists involved to make their way here if they remained undiscovered. But again, no. They have made no attempt to send messages or given any other signs. One or two were in Hillsbreak and arrested there, but those are the only ones we’ve heard of.

Our stock of wild Pokemon for Grunt usage is also dwindling, with only a few unclaimed specimens remaining. We’ve sent some of our remaining forces to obtain more, but with the amount of activity still occurring in town we can only send the most elite. Perhaps as a result, these efforts have met with minimal success; the last Pokemon sweep team captured a total of four. I have ordered the next sweep not to come back until they can bring more in. There seems to be little else we can do about this. Whether we’ve been over-hunting around the base or for some other reason, we appear to be running out of wild Pokemon to use in this area. If that wasn’t enough, my first lieutenant wants to scare more out of hiding with a controlled brush fire. Good lord.

I do wish to inform you we received the last shipment as the transport crew has no doubt already reported. With the previous batch taken care of one way or another, we have been able to focus our attention on the latest. Thanks to Tenma’s research, we have also made some improvements to our newest acquisitions. Most of the rejects have been disposed of, with the exceptions being useful mutations we could find other uses for.

I also have an update for you on our other project. The latest device has survived at pressure exceeding 10,000 psi. The biggest problem has been with replacement parts, as portions of the device cannot take the extreme strain and continue to break. Luckily one of our remaining scientists had a brain wave recently and was able to remodel the device so that excess internal pressure escaped. With this breakthrough, we are confident we will have some more visible results before the next report is due.

So in conclusion, we currently have no idea where those rogue children went off to. The previous batch of experiments have been disposed of or are ready to receive a trainer. The Base is in shambles thanks to the whole mess at Hillsbreak, and we’re going to have trouble getting back on our feet even without any more interference. And that’s all. If anything else report-worthy happens I’ll send an other.

On a more personal note, I am greatly looking forward to receiving Officer Hannah’s assistance with our operations. Preparations for her arrival are proceeding. They should be completed before her arrival, or about the same time as. We will be expecting her in three days’ time as planned.

Officer Baynor.

You look around and discover a paper shredder next to the recycling bin.
