You wasn't registered on DF2 forums. There are true "friendly community", so I was banned several times, until completely ban. And also was banned by Vade Parvis.
So value HC atmosphere, it's most friendly of other H3 forums I know.

Known lineup of the Cathedral is completely out of date.

I don't think that rotating droids and deia goblins are very interesting.
Previous look of goblins also completely out of date, as well as all the old lineup.

And I think their idea is more interesting than another set of modern weapons troopers set
And now show us where are "set of modern weapons troopers" was even in the old lineup of the HotA Forge. Steampunk-like archaic, retro-futuristic grenade launcher from the original concept-art, which we jokingly call "steam-engine" — not counted

So you crewed a lot of work again? You have a lot of free time I see.
Than publish old Cathedral units, don't let efforts go waste.

Last Forge lineup I saw:

It was the early sketches of models of units. In addition, the quality of these models by today's standards of the project is too low; Alex-ander now much more experienced in creating models of creatures and just do not will want to use these old sketches.
And, in any case, these sketches were made for a very early concept of the town, which has since been changed completely.
And finally, the active work over this city for the foreseeable future will still not be carried out.

Publish these models as sprites can't be because they never had a full animation. And those old model, whose animation was exist, Alex-ander has published or transferred to other projects anyway.

Oh god. It's just a fan art, and it's half-joking. And it's fan art on the theme of two towns (Factory and Forge) at once.

Here are just some reason you silent about the fact that you get banned for the systematic rudeness and trolling. And also that you was unbanned with a promise to behave properly — but after that you're again taken up the old.

In today standarts of modding these models are excellent. I'll grab them with both hands.

Don't believe they only have walking animation. This is nonsence, and there are some screenshots, on which other frames can be seen.
Same goes for old blue Cove casters and pirate captain - don't believe they were not fully made.
At least 3D models of these units must still exist.

Well, in lack of information this fan art is information. And it's made by Agar, he is part of crew, isn't he?

What old?
Doctor Tea talked about creating his new town. I just defended his enthusiasm and said, that HOTA crew got too self-proud and forgot first amaze of modding and waiting of new towns.
I compared your crew with "walking dead". And this is true. Cathedral is another proof. You  make a lot of work, than right leg decides to remake all from scratch, and there another five years last.
You make something - release something.
IT's like Polish Forge: they released whole working town, and now polish and make it better. It's democracy - when crew changes things on base of users feedback.
HOTA works are kept in secrecy. You only show done things, and without and correction or changes.  This way will lead to failure only - one day you will share some town like Stanford - and it will be noncence laughed by everybody (hobbits at first level already present in AB, and set-up of blue mutants, based on no mythology, only on some deceased fantasy).
Because you too concentrated to create "non-seen", "interesting", "revolutionus" content. So you will eat yourself IMHO

Conversely, a nonsense — is the complete study of each sketch.

Blue casters is one of the few units that was really ready. Pirate captains never had a full animation.

Agar made this image for fun, and from the very beginning so it positioned. That you did not catch the original publication date (2011 seems) of this fan art and attributed it to some kind of insidious wiles of the HotA Crew — it's not our problem.

For the Cathedral were made only a few rough sketches of creatures, from the early stage of the HotA project. Further work has not progressed.

All your allegations are traditionally unsubstantiated and explicitly seek to provoke others to confrontation.

Why I need to provoke you? Seems I only loose time here trying to explain my point of view.
I'm busy right now, so provoke is least, I want to do.
Altrough I only want HOTA crew to change your methods and to became more open.

OK, if you say that Cathedral units are only in form of walking, let's believe for now. Than Other animations can be drawed someday.
PPS But I saw GIF with dark paladin attacking with sword. And it's not on new towns site...

This isn't a religious argument. You don't get to "believe" resources if the team says they don't exist.

If about Cathedral somebody constantly says, that work is going,  and then after a long time it appears, that there are no creatures ready and only shown town screen is also said dropped, than anybody will start to believe in conspiracy theory and some evil plans.
Harbor, for example, has working units and town screen at least.

I also don't see how Forge (Machines) fits in with trying to create expansion-like content that is the HotA project. Maybe the next will be aliens from space? (That's a joke). But that's just my opinion on that.

Quote from official interview with Greg Fulton :

Q: DOES SCIENCE FICTION BELONG IN HEROES?

GF: Yes. Science fiction is the foundation of the Might and Magic universe. It is the reason the Might and Magic universe exists. At its core, the Might and Magic is about advanced civilizations who have descend into barbarism. If you disagree, your reasoning is emotional, not logical. Many people forget the Inferno is not populated by demons. It's populated by aliens who look like demons. If I told you the origin of the Arch Angels I'm sure many of you would have a heart attack.

Lore-speaking yes, sci-fi stuff does indeed belongs to the Might & Magic universe. However, they have been showed only on the Might & Magic series (RPG), while HoM&M have been always with a only fantastic approach.

So it's debatable, imo

Guys, video games stories are 50th degree literature, just below LoTR or Harry Potter. On the other side, some nicely done graphics to make your own story on are far more interesting IMO.

Frankly, they should release games without any story, it will be less embarrassing later when people start to discuss inconsistencies. Save us a bad read anyway and over all, allow people to choose graphics only on aesthetic considerations, not to fit some mediocre story originally written for commercial purposes.

Interesting, yet, it doesn't actually matter what he has said about sci-fi and HoHH to me. For me, HoHH 3 is pure fantasy. I don't know even know the story, nor will I ever care about it much. I care about aesthetics and gameplay. A single person shouldn't get to dictate what HoHH means to others. HoHH got its own life now. I agree with Salamandre on what he said, too.
