I can't replace the spartans because I need an unit which has both melee and ranged graphic animations. And I don't have it. Paladins look ok.

Here is the last battle (out of 55). Xerxes is a shaman, so if Darkloke could find a nice creature for him, would be great. No need shooting ability, as I removed it. If shaman needs others animations, then I can change him to any unit.




Any nice looking creature playing Xerxes is welcome

Is there a way, in which you can take the creature def files from a map, and use? Because some of those creatures are awesome

The creatures in Salamandre's scenario will most likely be installed with a normal WoG file. That WoG file should contain the defs.

Salamandre: truly awesome battle. I'm looking forward to playing this scenario, and from what I've heard, I can play it multiple times with different choices

Do I get it right that units can't move at all over the battlefield? That's very curious, I wonder what the challenge could be this time.

All I can say is that the azures can't be killed by sword, and Leonidas has no spells. But Xerxes launch armageddon on hit. So, if Xerxes is dead too soon, you can't win. But if you let him live, then he deals about 5000 damage/hit, double attack, endless retaliation + clone himself each round. And so do the azures.

The dracolich launch berserk on hit.

The titans poison.

It is a very hard and long battle.

I have no idea.

I am not far from the end (only 10 more custom quests to script out from 50) but then I have to link them somehow, to test the whole thing, and I still don't have the small def icons for the new creatures.
The invasion was already fully tested and worked very well (52 battles) but each of the 50+ quests ask to visit 3 or more locations, to make a choice and act accordingly, so the test will be long and painful.
Not to mention that Gorgo can choose at the very start to be on "good" side or "bad" side (Order of death/life) so then the nature of quests change.

Each quest take about 4-5 hours to be scripted and tested, but some took several weeks. So you get the picture.

The good thing is that the difficulty levels are built in, and for once, one of my maps can be finished by anyone.

The bad thing is that I use more than 500 flags and 120+ battle triggers and I have yet no idea if ERM can handle all this.
