What's there not to understand or misunderstand about. Although, there could be several possible reasons for a difficult situation that require "very hard decision", there is only RIGHT thing to do. Finish the move as previously agreed upon.
Well, maybe if it was someone else ...

Eh, pera, pera, you disappoint me...

1. Vicious attacking, quick accusations without learning circumstances, poison dripping from your snake fangs... And all that because you don't like me as a result of my defending position concerning Natalka. But do you remember that we had nice time in our mutual game before that? Later, i did not attack you personally, just defended Nat

And now i read "his reputation, bla bla" hehe I don't cheat and the "stain" on my image originates from the fact that i don't keep silent if i feel righteous (opposite of hypocrisy) . And you have only good experience playing with me so why do you flame me in so infantile manner?

2. So the circumstances... Kis kindly let me to not finish the turn (that would be very long) because in previous night we overplayed and i slept 4 hours, and i had caught cold and felt ill. Ofc, if he insisted i would finish turn. But he had no reason to doubt me because i almost hadn't moved and on this map he can see what i do with main hero. And i was going to attack gold mine and i did that in our next session. The turn was very long as expected and i really appreciate that Kis didn't force me to execute it the night before.

So you see, pera, that with little inquiry it is possible to see the friendly wood in daylight contrary to your nightmare stories of scary jungle in full moon

Even after hearing about your disappointment with me (which btw broke my heart ), I still, have to say that your explanation is far from convincing. It's actually goes with what I had in mind all the time long. On one side you have a fact that inferno is hardest faction to creep, small army first week, no w/m, hard guards at gold mine, and on other side: fact that heavy losses at that point would cripple your game, probably for good. You said it yourself that would require a long turn. For one battle. So, instead of trying and suiciding or managing with few losses, you quit. Probably recreated the whole situation (which is quite easy to do) and learn how to do, or not to do it all, and all that without paying a price. Guess there isn't much difference between multy and singleplayer afterall
You see, sometimes you don't have to know every exact detail of situation, it's enough to know person involved in it
As for your reputation. Well, everybody creates his own. And its not me who created yours. Its all the games you played before, and was rated accordingly. And all the threads and posts about your fairness. That's what made your reputation. So I guess I am not the one to blame for it. Right?
And if Kisp was so ok with it, why did he write about it in a first place? It sounds more to me that you put him in situation, to either accept your foul play or start writing posts and flames about it. And he, being a person he is, probably choose first solution. And don't get me wrong, it only speaks high of him, but there are persons that don't deserve such kindness and he made a mistake even if honourable one.
As for our mutual game. Here is how I see it: we did have nice chats, but gaming experience wasn't good, but neutral at best. Or in lawyer terms: you were released due to the lack of evidence, not lack of doubt. Let me refresh your memory:
We started on genesis as me dwarf vs. you dungeon. You had d/c in battle for gold mine guarded by death knights. That time also we relied on autosave, since you didn't want to reload so we could save properly. Only autosave did not work next day. And we had to start a fresh game. And that time you got to be dwarf vs my dungeon.
Well, to be honest, I mostly blame myself, for that. I should have insisted on same setup, even on me getting regeneration in my mage guild as I did first time. Because it was your d/c (if it was d/c in first place) and you were the one who didn't want to save properly. And that particular match-up on two towns map, with strong garnizons is pretty uneven in dwarves favour. So, I wouldn't use that game experience as a proof for your fairplay. Just because I couldn't get any proof doesn't make me convinced. As I recommend to all, playing vs. you or your puppy. After all having doubts is a first sign of intelligence, isn't it

I don't think Strider is a bad guy, just a little egotist and arrogant, probably because he was a spoiled/single child and/or hasn't experienced any major love yet.

Also, most of the guards on that map are human controlled, so I don't think cheating is possible... Kispagat is only upset about Strider's failure to keep his words, so Pera don't blow this into a new drama.

Back on topic, I bet this second game will end with a Kispagat win, or suicide

Ye, it seems I need Towerlord to express my toughts. Its normal, than we cant play every day, or there are other more important things, or we can play only 1-2 hours. But its very annoying if we agree a time to play, and then for some extreme and non acceptable reason, its cancelled or delayed. Thats it.

I cant deny that the interrupted turn, it was very strange for me. It crossed my mind that he wanna check the gold mine battle before engaging it with a secondary hero. But if anyone watch the replays, its undeniable that he is one of the best players here. His high quality play, sometimes arrogant style with overpowered English and lots of dc-s, all together looks suspicious.

But I dont have any proof of cheating, even wathcing closely

About the topic, after the intermezzo, we played until 1 AM yesterday. I managed to screw my mainland break enourmously, so most of my shooters are gone. Strider is slow to come to the mainland, he has not landed yet on day 11. But he managed to kill dwarfs in the starting island with new, 5th hero, Grok. Grok cant be more than lvl 4, and his army was 2 unis, max 4 pit fiends, and 5*few imps.(Maybe that was the reason for the interuppted turn? Grok has found light magic? we will see.) Breathtaking.

Again it looks, I have economic, hero advancement and time advantage, but it has dissapeared so easily in game 1, so it means nothing.

I made a mistake with waiting with cavaliers. If I hit the wolves, and 2 cavaliers survive cyclop's hit, its over, easy win.

I hoped that my 120 peasants may hit bash of the new group of wolves. This way, also easy win. But it tourned out to be a real pain.

Mistakes are normal thing even in games of good players ... One thing is to watch replay and another is to play this battle ... In battle you don't know for sure how match damage will do certain unit, etc ... That's way is bad idea to replay final battle one more time, weaker player benefit a lot from knowledge get from first try battle ...

I agree with this 100%. Not just about lots of d/c, suspicion that remains, lack of proofs, but also about him being great player. Maybe not arrogance part, since he only seems that way in his posts. At least I got that impression.
But if he is to really prove his skills, and to accepted as the best, this d/c mania and other dirty tricks would have to be kicked out of his play. As for now, he seems a great player, and even worse loser.

Actually I'd much rather read about the current game than about your little quarrel... it's so much more interesting. In the end I'm sure the better (or "more honorable" as you folks tend to say) player will win.

my poisonous hamster pera, i understand that you need to wear off your ever growing teeth on me or else they will grow right through your jaw For soap opera watchers, i'll answer concisely here:

1. About my "cheating"... Look what Kis wrote:

Quote:

Two things to tell - that cardinal decision was not about the gold mine (it is natural fight) but about investing money in Grok, ofc Besides i didn't buy it on the day when we had auto. I think that Kis has little doubt if i can take gold mine on day 8 Second thing - both of us are on display in this map. I'm sure, Kis watchful eyes are the best proof of my innocence.

About d/c that what have 1-2 each session. Yes it happens but not always due to me. And so far we have been mostly lucky to have d/c at the very start of days.

2. About game with you, pera. You lie here I remember that i lost half of shieldguards in deathknight battle hehe.. about restarting the game.. do you remember that it was YOU WHO LOST the save? haha I remember your frustration and disbelief about the fact. Did you want me to pursue the idea that you should report loss?

Most importantly, fellow TOHers, look at this guy. Do you see him keeping quiet if i "cheated" him??? Look how much poison he's got Can you really imagine that he would chat with me friendly and offer rematch games if he wasn't satisfied with our game??! And it was AFTER he got seriously mad about me defending Nat.. so what do we see? From one side he is all friendly and forthcoming. And i really thought it as good achievement because we managed to turn our relationship for the better. And now, after i pissed him off later defending Nat again, SUDDENLY i am bad AGAIN.

Pff, hungry hamster pera... stay out of this thread and don't lie

I'm sure that me and Kis play honorable game And, understandably, he just got pissed about game being delayed etc I already apologized to him in msn. Sadly, he mentioned this autosave and it brought in daylight our poisonous hamster

I don't quite understand your reasoning. Here's what puzzles me:

1. You had to made a very hard decision, and that's why you ended before you agreed. And now it turns out to be not that day decision, but next or day after.
You say it's a natural fight, and yet turn was very long turn as expected
Is this really sounds logical to you, or am I missing something. Is schizophrenia, maybe, running in family?
And your main argument is that he can see you on the map. Even nobody spoke of d/c.

2. About our game. It was me that lost the save? What about your autosave? Because save was lost since, miraculously, very same turn I order save you managed to d/c. And you wouldn't reload afterword. Hehe.

3. "Most importantly, fellow TOHers, look at this guy. Do you see him keeping quiet if i "cheated" him???" - And yet again you twist my words so you could come up with any kind of argument. Even I specifically said that I had no proof, only doubts.
AND THE ONLY REASON I MENTIONED OUR GAME IS BECAUSE IT WAS YOU WHO USED IT AS A PROOF OF YOUR FAIRNESS, AND I QUOTE: "only good experience playing". When in truth it was everything but that. And to clarify this further. You are right about the fact that I offered a rematch, right after I lost. Only that was for sole purpose of wining back in next match  It's just a common reaction, and anyone who managed to beat me in our first game, can confirm that I instantly asked for a rematch. As most of other players do. But you will notice that I never actually asked for that game after. And reason why. Because, after some time it came to me that I couldn't bare another game of d/c, foul play and long turns from your side.

And one fact that may surprise you. About 80% and more of my games versus others players are d/c free. Because when they suicide, they ask and are granted reloads.

What I also find interesting is how you manage to interpret Kis words. Did you forget man is a lawyer. And they don't just throw words around. So when he says for instance: "and after several minutes of discussions he quitted" he doesn't mean he was kind enough to grant you... Or "having no doubt and only being upset because of delay" does not mean: "all together looks suspicious".

So if I am not mistaken, only thing that remains unanswered is an insult. Although, hamster is not really that. But from general knowledge, I can tell you this: hamsters and rats don't get along. And if hamster became poisonous its because rat brought with him filth and stench. And hamster simply reacts.
