In a crimininal environment there usually is little the parent can do, except moving out of that environment. Anyway, seraphim, there do exist some really good public schools in a really wholsesome environment as well, you prejudiced bastard.

man, just watch tv.In germany some director cant pass one road near his school because the gangsters(demons, what ever you call those guys),wanted to beat him.He has to pass a whole road cuz of those guys and those guys are from the high school.

Now sending a child in that high-school without being abused is impossible.Than, seeing my child befriended with them would be the worst. .

I still stand with my words before.

I would rather gather money and prevent that my kidd would have to go to hell everyday.

In a public school, how many kidds are kiddies that make trouble? I would say that at least 80% are that make trouble, some of them dont even have functional parents.THeir parents leave them do whatever they want.

Do you know how much dangerous a kidd in its teens is?

it depends on the school and the people around.

Of course, that is partly true, because public schools have to accept anyone and private schools can flick anyone, but that doesn't make all or even the majority of them horrible.

One more thing,it also depends on the country.

The scandinavian people have the best schools that i am aware.

Worst being that of the US,germans, british and french(but they have classes so it might be different)

True, I'd say it more depends on the area... Like the banlieus of Paris are practically a war zone at times, so I doubt there you have the best schools.

If the expression scandinavian does not include Norway, then i agree.
Why? Lousy average grades, atleast further education part is somewhat good

The funny part is that in the US,the school guards check every kidd for a weapon.I think it is the same in germany now,not sure though.

having to fear that at any second someone could shoot you is unpleasnt for somebody who came there to study. That is why i hate public schools.

you guys should visit balkans for once,it is like the US schools with no guards and praticly no teachers.

Oh, please, one kid in millions of children kills twenty children again out of millions once in a few years. Fearing a school shooting is just as rational as fearing a plane crash. The chances are horribly low.

What is the average then?

you may find a great school even in india but i am speaking about the average.

The US have the most problems with weapons and then come the third world countries.

As for balakans, there is no rule there.

As for the occurence of school shooting, why only shooting? A knife attack is barely noticed on world wide news.

And btw, school shootings have the tendency of becoming more severe because of increasing numbers of those events just as plane crashes will.

The US and Finland are both stupid countries to allow citizens to have weapon access. In Sweden, the only legal way to get a gun is to get a Hunters license. And the most common "killing weapon" here is still the knife.

Also public schools in your country seems really bad
I do agree that I would have preferred to go to a public school though. It seems like you relate much more to the teachers and students there.

Right, so why don't you do some research and find that out for us before you start making generalized claims?

In Germany there is nothing of that sort, not even school guards.

There is not school guards in Sweden either. But then, children and teenagers dont get weapons just like that... -.-
We have a much more restricted system to that and there has never been a school shooting in Sweden.

And Poland sounds nice. I dont think I would survive there for a week, judging by peoples descriptions xD

school shootings happen more because of psychological problems... last time i heard most criminals obtain guns illegally. such as stealing them from licensed relatives or illegal trafficking.
