X-Men: Apocalypse trailer
Damn, they did it again... another "great" actress role for Rouge, sigh (in comics she's a hot busty beauty, im movies she's an emo)...
The fact is I really dislike X-Men movies in general. While I find most of Marvel comic adaptations quite solid, imo various X-Men movies were never any of them. Aside from a few roles, they really can't seem to find good actors for various mutants. And the movies look really cheap. If you ask me they don't have that comic-y feel, like the 90s cartoon for instance. Some will say that they don't see a problem, but I do. I was never a fan of the movies and looking at this trailer, things proably won't change in this matter...

Oh, I was completely forgotten X-men
True, that trailer does not give us much but two erlier Xs where good additions to the franchise. Old and new Xs both gave something good what other one did not, plus some cheezy ones too. Still X movies has never been stupid as the first Fantastic 4 movies, oh boy I hated it!

There is no Rogue in this movie. Which girl you mean? There is Psylocke and Jubilee in this movie.
Ok so the trailer didn't rock my world entirely. But I love the 80's style. And Storm is looking fine! They didn't show a lot of action in the trailer, or mutants using their powers. Which is a shame, like it can be just a second or two with Psylocke with her psionic blade, Jean Grey doing something cool with telekinesis etc. Btw I am hopefully optimistic about casting Sansa Stark there, haha, because Jean was a bit awkward early in her years. So it might work. I can't get over the fact that Jennifew Lawrence looks like she is Hunger games though. More Mystique, less Raven please Apocalypse is a supervillain, and he seemed strong but still something is missing. Anyway looking forward to second trailer, hope they show more or have more dialogue.

Drama about political persecution in Eastern Germany. Nothing special, very slow passed, worth a watch.

The only X-Men films I can say I really liked are First Class and DOFP. I did like parts of the others, but overall they did not meet my requirements.
And while I'm not crazy about Apocalypse in this from what we saw so far, like you, I am interested about the good mutants to appear in the film. And McAvoy, Fassbender, and Lawrence blow the old guard out of the water. I like McKellen and Stewart in other roles, and Romijn was hot, but the first two weren't great as Magneto and Prof.X - PERSONAL OPINION.

Sorry, my mistake I've meant Jean Grey of course (which does not change the fact that "Sansa" is just baaaaaaaad for this role). I know this is suppose to be their earlier years, but my word, they look like a bunch of wimps...

Of course I have the tickets! I bought them the exact day they were available. Oh man, I'm so ecited for that film! For last couple of days the vast majority of YouTube videos I've seen were the ones with interviews with the cast/ J. J. Abrams. I bought the special Time issue with BB-8 on the frontpage, I got the official poster... To say that I'm excited is an understatement.

Watched Empire Strikes Back. My favorite SW movie. Did not remember: Millenium Falcon be so crap, 3 times they try hyperspeed but nothing, until R2 saves the day. Yoda being so senile, weirdo, loved it! Emperor is seen at the first time aswell.. This movie has it all.

I watched "Clones" and "Revenge" at the cinema when they were new here, but I had watched the originals before. I've come to like "Revenge" more than most fans, and "Clones" is okay-ish. I actually like "The Clone Wars" more.
But yeah, ESB as well A New Hope and ROTJ are still top class.
And at least Phantom Menace had Liam Neeson. And that Darth Maul dude.

This depends a bit on which incarnation of the movie you're watching .
During the filming of Revenge of the Sith, they also redid the scene of Empire Strikes Back where Darth Vader contacts the Emperor. The whole dialogue of that scene has been changed too, to better connect to Revenge of the Sith.
The original image was of a different actor. Ian McDiarmid only portrayed the Emperor for the first time in Return of the Jedi.
I have tickets for tomorrow evening. Can't wait to see it, reviews are turning up very positive .
