They are trying so hard to push their lighter tone that it's adorable. Momoa is awesome but I'm not sure I like how they turned the flash into spiderman. I mean I prefer a silly flash over a serious one but..

Khal Drogo seems a good choice to be cast as Aquaman, the badass Atlantean he's supposed to be. but lol at the "so you can talk to fish?" joke at the end of the trailer.
I do hope this movie turns out to be just as good as the direct to video JL animated films.
Also finally managed to get a good quality version of Batman v Superman. For a movie titled as such, there was very little Batman VS Superman. misleading. otherwise, it's a good movie.

I didn't like the slow pace, overblown final fight and Luthor's portrayal but overall it wasn't bad. Had some really good moments actually, I just hoped it'd be better. Great visuals but we could have used some better writing.

Speaking of which I tried to watch the one last one and turned it off after 20-30 mins. So. Goddamn. Slow. Got bored before he even became the green lantern.

yeah. Wathced it while I was in Exile in Bundesrepublic Krautland. Me and my roomies only managed to pull through only due to large quantity of cheap kraut beers from Rewe.
Hope the new one's where they're doing the black green lantern would be better.

God my eyes bleed! How is it possible to gather so many bad picked actors in one movie? Aside from Momoa who seems semi-good for his role, the rest were picked so poorly it hurts. And I thought Luthor was badly casted. And I thought Fantastic Four re-launch was BAD! This is cheesy (even for comic-books-come-to-life standards), looks bad, and is a pain to look at...
So, this is their flagship movie that aspires to challange Marvels Avangers movies? Please...
Btw Comic-Con is here so there are a bunch of trailers that came out recently but nothing caught my interest. Kong Skull Island, Dr. Strange, Wonder Woman and King Arthur look ok-ish but nothing more...

The Justice League movie looks like it will be good, I just doubt it will be as good as the Avengers. The "feel" of the trailer is that they're copying Marvel's strategy of making it light, except doing it in a more rushed way since they haven't had a Flash movie, or a Batman movie, or an Aquaman movie, so you're not going to already be in love with the characters before it is even released. That's how Marvel made its fortune. I'm already predicting them spending half of the movie ****ing around with putting the heroes together into a team before an obligatory CGI villain eventually shows up to be slaughtered like a succulent lamb.
The actors all look fine for the role. Aquaman alone makes it worth watching. They should just do 2 and a half hours of Aquaman swimming around herding sea bass. I would watch it. Comic movie meets nature documentary. Nobody would predict it.

Actually, they have. The three movies with Christian Bale as Batman (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises) precede the Dawn of Justice. It's just that Christian Bale didn't want to do another Batman movie, I believe, so they went for Ben Affleck instead.

I'm slowly losing interest on hyped movies lately. After the complete and terrible fiascoes named X-Men Snowpolypse, Snowcraft and Independence Snow, it makes me wonder what to expect? At least some are still kinda fun and entertaining, specially if you don't expect anything from them. These new movies they hire some decent special graphic artists and then put raging kookaburras to write the texts.

Big epic naval battle/politics movie about the 17th century war between England & the Dutch. Pretty good movie & acting. I'm not sure I understand the director's fetish with slow motion though. If you like old school wooden-clad navies, you'll really enjoy this movie.

Watched the last movie of this trilogy. Really good, except I FREAKING CRIED.

Uninspired regurgitation of Pirates of the Caribbean, set in the Wild West. Johnny Depp is overpaid. The 1st PotC was a fun movie, but please, stop dovetailing off of it already. Just let it alone.
My Way
So so. It's about a Japanese & Korean racer that find themselves in every theater of WW2 from Japan to D-Day. It's over-dramatized and made me roll my eyes a few times, but there's still some really cool scenes in it.

Independence Day 3D - awesome. Faith - restored.
9/10, seems they could pull off a more than decent film in these dark times. I wanted to trash it so hard, but I couldn't. The actors and the plot and the display delivered that special vibe. I'm in for the sequel.
