I dont think the X-34 really classifies as a flying vehicle, it's even called the landspeeder. He talks about going to the academy to be officialy a pilot, but he talks like he has flied before. They are looking for another pilot because they have no ship and they cant afford one. They sell the X-34 and rent a ship with its pilot just like you rent a limo with a driver, doesnt mean you cant drive.
EDIT: Yes, I checked. When he first meets Obi-Wan in his hut and asks him about his father, Obi-Wan tells him how he was a great pilot etc etc and then adds "I understand you've become quite a good pilot yourself." So Xerox, the lesson you should learn here is, never to challenge a 1977-born about A New Hope, my generation watched that ten times as a kid.

A New Hope on its own is better than all the prequel films if you ask me. It's the real classic that started it all.

The Revenge of the Siths was pretty cool, though. I'd say is near 50/50 there

yes but to many of you are blinded by nostalgia and worship the originals. they're not thaaat great
...
what I loved about Revenge of the Sith was the end when you could really see it transitioning into the original trilogy and those ships and environments looked great in CGI too

I saw Gravity today. Some really stunning cinematography, directing, and visuals. The script was unfortunately rather weak. Nevertheless, worth seeing on the big screen. B+

They really ought to have had Brian Blessed to play Beorn, seriously the guy is a god and would be perfect for the role.

I just saw Before Midnight. Great scenario and acting , the best dialogue I've watched recently. The main characters are an American writer and his French wife on a Greece vacation, most of the movie is them talking, (and the rest is them talking with other people during a lunch) and you don't get bored a single minute. After I saw the film, I found out that it was third of a series with the same characters, and the first two movies are Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. The movie can be easily seen as a separate, independent film though, I didn't even realize it was part of a trilogy till I checked the director on imdb afterwards. I'm downloading the other movies as of now.

Started watching Breaking Bad. I like it so far (3 episodes in), but none of the characters are that interesting.
