"Who's that?" says Geist.
"Rookie" replied Jonathan, "Hey bro-man, think you can teleport across the world to him then save him or something?"
"So here we are in Chinatown, and you want me to teleport around the world to him in America?" replied Geist.
"Yeah"
"Fine, but I need a power source."
"Power source?"
"You know how I used to need the souls of people to fuel my powers, well, I don't need fuel, but an extra edge would be nice so that I don't get teleported into the Earth's core. Not that it would have done anything to me, but it would really hurt."
"Well, you got Anti-Geist here. Drain him."
"Ahhh...right. Excellent..."
Geist then goes to Anti-Geist's dead body and thrusts his Gauntleted hand into Anti-Geist's chest. The Gauntlet pulsed green for a couple seconds and then stopped. Geist's eyes glowed a deep neon green for a couple of seconds and then he said, "Right, see ya'll later."
Geist then teleported off to rescue Perseus.
"Anyways, so you are lesbian, Kiki? asked Jonathan, "Because I'm sure that would disappoint Perseus. Maybe I shoulda just let him die..."

he looks at Anti-Baal and grins..
He says:"You know i haven't done this for a long time."
he smiles as he draws another Sword from his cloak.
He says:" You know i was once a stundent of hers.I think you might know her....Her Name is Kiki."
As he takes a Defensive Battle stance...and motions Anti-Baal as if to dare him to bring it on.
he says:" You should have not Brought my Family Into THIS."
as his eyes glowed Red and his Fangs glisoning in the Light.

Kiki shrugs. "At one time, now such mundane mortal things do not interest me at all. The mingling of souls is much more intimate, and much more fufilling, and no actual sex involved. Relations with mortals with any type of physical body, does not interest me."
((I'd have Geist arrive too late somehow..Perseus will not make it  , have enough NPC's on my hands most of which already sit on their thumbs because nobody much uses them  ))

Gaia keeps the Anti-Dispair conscious but uses her fine manipulation to make sure not only that she can not open her mouth, but that her vocal cords can not resonate. Lastrius and Leina do not take long to dispatch the other Jorn..Leina distracts him..and Lastrius touches him...((Vampire + Holy Touch = BAD...at least for a vampire))
Which makes the Anti-Baal make a mistake. He tries to flee. Which means he drops his guard...

As soon as Anti-Baal turns his back to make a run for it.Jorn shoves one sword thru his back and uses the other to cut off his head.He smiles.
he says:" If you ever knew me at all..You would know never show me your backside."
he goes and re-joins His team.
He says:"That was easy enough..too easy.Let's get back to GR section 3 base..I got a feeling they might need us."
as he and his team heads back to Base.

Kiki laughs. "No, I am saying that if I dallied with anybody, mortal or otherwise, Artemis would kill me. She can be quiet jealous. Teach? Yes. Talk to? Of course. Anything intimate, I am afraid I am already spoken for, and quiet content. Now..I must get on with it..."
She concentrates..and Teira slowly reforms before everybody's eyes. Kiki then glows, and her power departs for the length of one year.
Meanwhile.
"I don't care who they have! I refuse to sit on my thumbs for a minute more! Those people will be dead anyhow, if we don't do SOMETHING. Listen! I was on the other side of the Galaxy, but I want to know who authorized us sitting on our behinds while earth was taken over?" John Strongarm was ANGRY. Worse, he couldn't exactly tell them he had been talking to UTOPIANS. Even IF the council believed him..they would demand to try to negotiate for technology. Which was NOT a good idea, as it would be like handing an infant a brightly colored button that could nuke the Galaxy.
"I give a rats snow about your panels recommendation. Fine...you want to be that way..I can play that too. I am invoking rule 69. I can and I did. NOW GET THOSE SHIPS OUT THERE! What? Chance of them catching a virus and being taken over? Well why the heck didn't you say so? I have just the person..have everything ready."
He pushes another communicator. "Yeah, I need your help. Yes I know the issue with the same matter occuping the same space at the same time. We will just have to make sure you two don't touch..this is important. No, don't worry, the Observers are being taken care of, and IDP won't be a problem."
A tall blond wearing glasses appears. She has her hair up in pigtails. "This better be good John..crossing dimensions is frowned upon." She looks about 20 years old.
John sighs. "I know .. Molly. You are the only one smart enough to do this though. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important."
"What about..the other me already here?" Asks Molly.
"She doesn't have your experience. She may be just as smart, but you have knowledge she doesn't. We need you."

Everybody ran towards Teira to hug her. And Terra was the first one. The smiles could be easily seen on their faces, on all, except Baal's. Ofcourse he was happy that Teira returned, from where nobody returns. But he was still astonished by those news. He then queitly came closer to Kiki and said:
"I see, you have completed your part of agreement. I am man of my word and I'll complete my part. When and where the ceremony must take place?"

Angel didn't had a choice. She and her squad had to make a hasty escape. Cherubael picked them up, and jumped out the window to a nearest ledge.
- Quickly, to the ship! Let's get out of here!- A few quick leaps, and they were near their vessel. Angel sneezed as she sat in the pilot's seat.
- Just perfect... Apchoo!- she started the engines of the ship. A few minutes after the took off and the com tower exploded.

"Aha! Not to worry, Perseus, I am here to rescue you!" yells out Geist as he teleports in the crater that was once the com tower. "Oh...guess long jumps like these take a bit more time...dammit, now I have to teleport all the way back..."
"Teira..." said Jonathan as he saw her reform before his eyes. Just as he was about to walk to her to greet her happily, Geist popped up right before her.
"Geist!!!" yelled out Teira happily as hugged Geist, who was pretty confused at this point.
"Oh, hey, ummm...wrong guy. You want Jonathan over there." replied Geist as she just realized that she just hugged the not-as-friendly shadowy one.
"Hey" said Jonathan, waving at Teira. She ran up to him, recognizing his face, and kissed then and there.

- The others have succeeded in capturing their objectives. No word about Varjo however. The good thing is that we are able to send messages outside the planet. Reinforcements will arrive after Varjo checks in. Then, we may be able to retake the planet.

Woman sitting on the bench obeserves as the three technicians exit the cafeteria on Nova Atlantis. Oh, that one is definitely a looker.
"STOP OGLING HER AND DO YOUR JOB!", an annoyed woman's voice creams into her ear through her communication devices making her wince. What is it wrong with her?
"I'm supposed to scan them aren't I? What do you think I am doing?", she answer her.
"THEM, ALL of THEM. Not just her ass!"
"Oh, but you can't deny it's delicious."
"However delicious it may be we can't recognise people by their asses. Now, GET TO WORK!", the voice answers her in a tone that implies that this chit-chat is over.
"Fine, fine.", she concedes and zooms out from the woman's ass and proceeds to scan the two others. Numbers and signs run up on her vision.
"Hmmm. That one,", she zooms to the short man. "That one is interesting. Part of an experimental spec-ops squad, Delta-Wolves. Listed as demolitions expert. Something about genetic enchancement but I can't seem to access that. And that one,", she zooms out and concentrates on the longer man. "No match? What?", she zooms out and concentrates on the woman. "No match? Is this thing broken?"
"It isn't broken. I made it. This will take some time to send through. There are a lot of deceased people in this universe.", the voice over the comm says.
"Deceased? What? How can they be deceased if they are standing right there?", she wonders.
"To shorten the ID time and conserve space I left out the deceased people from the records. Hold on. It's coming.", the voice tells and her vision fills with data for a few minutes.
Finally two profiles come forth.
"This can't be right. You've built this wrong.", she says with a trembling voice.
"It is right. And it works. Now who are they?", the voice asks aggravated. The woman swallows and takes a deep breath.
"Kind and Queen of Rian", she breathes out. No answer from the other side. Just silence for a while.
"Hmmm, most interesting.", the voice finally speaks out.
"Most interesting? Those two are supposed to be long gone! There's 150 000 witnesses to their deaths! And I think those witnesses made pretty sure they were dead! You just don't make a mistake when checking if the enemy leaders are dead! You make sure of that!", she rants in a frantic voice.
"Yes, I agree.", the voice speaks.
"You, what?", she aks with a disbelief.
"I agree. Those two are definitely dead. That's what makes this so interesting.", the voice talks in a confident voice.
"So you're saying..."
"That they are not the Kind and Queen of Rios. Just someone practically identical to them."
"Hmmm, clones or..."
"...from another dimension. Yes, that is my quess. The IDP has no idea of their presence here so either they are clones or someone really, REALLY good tranported them here. Both are highly unlikely but possible. I need you to get a sample.", the voice says in a dull tone.
"A SAMPLE? How do you expect me to get that? I just go to them and ask?", she asks in a sarcastic tone.
"Well you could do that or you could go to the cafe they just exited and find the placew where they were sitting.", the voice asnwers her.
"Fine. You'll have it by midnight.", she answers and heads to the cafe.

Varjo, Darkblade and Siberian step into the Sea-lift. The soldier escorting them operates it and they shoot towards the orbital defenses control center. It doesn't take long for them to reach the bottom facility. They exit the the lift and head towards their objectives. Soon they vanish into the countless technicians who hurry back and forth in the facility. Varjo makes it to the center computer node without problems. His clearance checks out and he enters. He checks his watch. 2248. Five minutes till the bombs are supposed to go off. Time to get to work. He takes out the bottle with the liquid explosive and starts tracing the explosive to the wall. It's fast work and soon he's done with it. He takes out the detonator and the alarm clock and places it on the floor next to where the explosive lines start and end. He uses the last of the explosive to encase the detonator in it. The alarm clock shows 10:50'28. So two and a half minutes till it goes off.
He heads to the door to leave but before he reaches it it opens. He doesn't waste any time and leaps through the still opening door shooting the four soldier next to it at the same. He spins on the floor to a crouching position and blasts the door controls dropping the blast door and locking it shut. He heads running north to the submarine hubs. He encounters only a few soldiers that don't give him any trouble on the way. Too few. They're ambushing him at some point. Or they've got bigger trouble somewhere else. He turns another corner only to be welcomed with heated plasma that eats the wall away only millimeters off his head now back behind the corner. That wasn't a soldier's handgun. Another blast melts the corner of the corridor into liquid metal. What the hell have they got there? He hears the clank of metal on metal like footsteps and something like servo motors running and turning. Time to change direction. He heads to the nort-east. After a few corners he sees what looks like a giant metallic spider spewing out a column of flame into a crossing corridor. He releases a barrage of shots at the machine but they are deflected just before hitting it. Great, a shield. The machine turns the flame thrower to his direction and he hastily retreats behind the corner. He takes a cryo grenade and tosses it against the opposing wall in an angle that makes it change direction towards the machine. The grenade's shell cracks and the substance inside it vapors instantly drawing all the energy from the surroundings. He turns the corner only to be greeted with another column of fire that is cut short. When the smoke clears he sees a blackened Darkblade standing next to the machine, which is now neatly cleaved in half, with a katana in her hand. She grins and they head to the submarine hubs.
They encounter one more machine on their way there but one cryo grenade and a knife severing it's cerebral cortex from the rest of the machine work splendidly. On their arrival at the submarine hubs they see three of those machines. Two are partially melted and all black while one is still fidgeting. Series from a submarine's machine plasma cannon sets it on fire and it stops moving.
"ABOUT TIME YOU TWO SHOWED UP!", Siberian's voice greets them from the sub's gun turret.
"We had some...", Varjo is cut short when a series of explosions and water rushing inside shake the complex.
"THAT'S OUR CUE! GET IN!", Siberian shouts.
Varjo and Darkblade climb into the submarine and Varjo takes the pilot seat.
"Get inside! We're diving!", he shouts. There's no answer from Siberian. Darkblade goes to check on him. He has a nasty looking burn on his right side and has passed out. She brings him in and they set off.
"He'll make it if we can get him outside of the suppressor's range and get him concious enough to make him change form.", she shouts over the hum of the motors. Varjo nods and floors it. With no threat from the base defenses or from the machines' weapons it doesn't take them long to reach the max range of the suppressor. When they do Darkblade gets some water and sets it next to Siberian. Then she puts her hands close to the his face and bright short flames surround them. The heat makes him sweat in seconds. She then pours all the cold water over his face. His eyes shoot open.
"Turn.", she says and he obeys. His figure stars to change and soon he is in his wolf form.
"There's a bench on the back. I'll carry you to it. You can rest there.", she says and lifts the wolfman up.
They arrive at the transport that takes them to the rest. Siberian is able to walk by himself already and the burns, chars and bruises that Varjo and Darkblade had have vanished, not that they would have shown from under all that soot. Their clothes or the few shreads that they still have are totally ruined and the body armour they had is melted somewhere along the complex walls and floors. All in all they look like they've just walked to hell and back. Their weapons are in prime condition though. They get aboard the transport and set off.

- Ok, you heard her. We're falling back!- Alex entered their coordinates. A coded message also avaited him. It read:
"The birds of prey await within a sphere of neverending flame."
Alex smiled. Finally some good news. The dropship arrived, and he and his squad got aboard the vessel.
- So, how's the resea...- Swede got punched in the shoulder by Alex.
- Not here.
- Now what?
Angel sneezed again. The unexpected shower at the com tower didn't do any good to her.
- We have to meet up with the others now.

On your way back to the base, Leina asks a very obvious question. "What the heck are we going to do with this one?" she points to the Anti-Dispair.
Lastrius asks the next most obvious question. "Or for that matter, Dispair. She fainted once she arrived here, I don't know how happy she might be if she sees you when she wakes up. The clones have started to be able to pass off as the real thing..we don't know if she thinks it was you or not..."

The ship does come back with a difference. One is STILL comprised of containted Anti-Matter..regardless of what they look like. However, there are ways that scans can be blocked. So that way will not always be able to help.
