She was stunning. A bit on the young side, Baal placed her about 18 earth years old. Long flowing red hair, green eyes, and an impish smile. "My name is Chance. Didn't expect anybody else out here, guess I was too late to save all of them. At least we stopped them from getting others."
She was..short. About 5'1", but had some rather longish legs, and .. very pointed ears. Mercurian perhaps, but she looked more human.

She blinks. "That usually only happens if it is something that affects me. I guess you can say I am a mutant, one that has the power of luck..though not always good. Sometimes I am dangerous to be around." she looks at Baal closely. "If a bunch of accidents caused you to be here, there has to be a reason."

"Yes, and I think I know that reason." - Baal said, he even was a bit happy, looking at her beauty. He smiled. "We should find Kiki." - he thought, for now he decided not to say everything to Chance.
"I am galaxy ranger unit. I think you should go with me. No this is not an arrest, this is just a request."
"Okay" - she replied immediately, showing her like to Baal.
Baal didn't know their current location, so he provided Chance with coordinates of GR base.

She nods, and activates her teleporter while touching his arm. He finds himself at the rendevous, just in time to cast his vote if they should go after New York, or Silicon Valley.

"My vote? Sillicon Valley." - Baal said with the intonation as if it was absolutely indifferent for him, another thought was running in his head at the moment. He directed towards Kiki. Simultaneously he noticed as Terra's and Chance's eyes found each other. They were just staring, remaining silent.
Baal said:
"Hey Kiki, I think I found her... The problem is she doesn't know anything. Will it be your objective to explain her? What if she would mind?"

Kiki laughs. "No, I am afraid you three have to figure this out. From the looks of things..I don't think you have much to worry about." she glances at Terra and Chance who seem to be blushing and looking away from each other.

- Do we have a strategy?- Asked Alex.- If we don't than you can forget the backup. Say whatever you want, but even with our abilities we aren't gods. I may be able to conjure up a psionic storm, but I cannot tell how long it'll last or how big it would be. Or how powerfull.
Alex was again interrupted by one of his men. He didn't said a thing, just saluted Alex and handed him a plane table. Alex took it and nodded. He started reading it. It didn't beared any good news. Several of Terra Archeaologica cargo freighters were raided, crews killed and cargo stolen.
- This is madness! Some f%$#ed up AI decides to claim our world, and some morons are raiding my ships!- He smashed the plane table, then exited the tent to cool off a bit.
Angel was sitting on an APC beneath an umbrella, hiding from the sun and drinking ice tea. She observed the lizardmen who walked around the camp, performing various tasks. Some where smaller than her, while others were roughly half the size of Cherubael's true form. The medicine they gave her quickly blew away her cold. She now waited for her clothes to dry, and wore nothing but shorts and bra. She heard chatter and arguing from the nearby tent, where supposely a plan was developing to get rid of the machine infestation. A man known to her as Alex exited the tent mumbling something about idiots and raided ships. Ignoring him, she tried to get some rest before the assault.
- How you're feeling?- Asked Cherubael. He startled Angel.
- I would be fine if you won't startle me this way. So, what's the hold up there?
- Nothing special. There are two target locations. Silicon Valley and New York. For us, I picked the latter.
- Whatever. They may take their time. I'm exhausted. - She put the half full glass aside and yawned. The day indeed was exhausting for her.

Prism waited until enough people chose one or the other target. She figured she'd be best where she can actually use her powers to actually do something. Seemed as though there wasn't too much interest in the New York target. None at all, so far, that she could tell.
"Alright. I guess I am going to Silicon Valley as well. Not much use for me at the other target."
Kaiser was just standing around, however. He didn't know where he should choose to go. He wasn't sure what these people were planning. Unlike his past feelings, his current ones were conflicting. Both options seemed as though they were where he was supposed to go, but both seemed as though they were places to stay well away from.

Darkblade listened quietly, but something kept bugging her. She paced awhile, which is not usual for her. "It doesn't make sense. This thing seems to have plenty of clones to me. Also, why would clone making require it's full attention? Not like this thing can't multitask. I can see it to get past some super difficult security, but mass producing clones?"
"I think our little Miss Molly was fed wrong information by this thing as a diversion, to hopefully split us up or send us on a wild goose chase." she looks at Varjo. "They will not listen to me, but they might to you."

"I agree. Strategically going after the clones in Silicon Valley would be a huge gamble. If we went to New York and even if we were wrong we would still not have lost the war. While if we go to the Silicon Valley and we are mistaken we would be lost forever.", Varjo says and pauses for a while to let the words sink in.
"I can't tell this machine's thoughts since it obviously is more than just a machine but I can tell that a rational choice would be going after the New York relay. Why would it go after Silicon Valley? It already has clones to keep it alive and if it went to New York it wouldn't need the clones to take us out. I see no reason to go to Silicon Valley. Even if it did hate us then what a better way to get even than to wipe us out?", Varjo looks around the people at the room. He sees a lot of them have doubtful or thinking expressions. Alex had chosen Silicon Valley and as the leader figure he was, making them doubt him was not the best way to go. He had the most resources and was the one who made all this possible in the first place. He would need to make him see the situation if they were to succeed. It would also be a stronger weapon to persuade the others than any reason he could come up with. This in mind he set out to look for Alex.

Baal became refreshed as after cold shower. Finally depressing thoughts of recent events left his mind and he felt freedom and purity of his mind, he felt as his powers returned. Baal then said:
"I see rational kernel in his words. What do you think?" - he referred to others.

"Well, I was thinking we needed to hit that New York target as well, but I should go where my powers can benefit someone. So, if some, or all of you choose to hit New York, I'll go there as well."
Kaiser was still feeling as though both targets were where he should go, and not go, but he was now feeling better about going for the New York target. His desire for hitting the clones was great. One target had the possibility of a large amount of them. The other, he now realized, had an almost guaranteed chance at fighting some.
"We should go to that New York place. Crush clones, and machine thing while we're at it!"

Machines flooded the streets of the city, marching everywhere. Inside the houses, scared humans hid, trying to avoid trouble. From the sewers emerged freedom fighters every now and then, picking off a couple machines per raid, but losing more of them. Geist stood from the top of the ancient Empire state building looking over the city.
"Now what to do...what to do..." muttered Geist to himself as a machine walked right behind him attempting to kill Geist easily.
Geist smiled and let the machine push him off the building. Geist fell through the air cackling. An instant before he hit the ground he vanished in a poof of dark smoke.

- Idiotism!- Alex unleashed his anger upon a rock, smashing it with a powerfull mental blast. Several other rocks and a termite mound also bit the dust. He lost one hundred and fifty of his employees today. He won't tolerate that. That means that he had to finish this war quickly, and then pursue the mysterious raiders.
- Yes Varjo?- Alex sensed him approaching from behind. He told his concerns about the attack on Silicon Valley.
- I see. Well I would propose an orbital strike, if we can disable the facility's shields. Of course the strike won't destroy everything. Then we'll deploy some troops, and clean up the place. This way we can overwhelm our oponents with minimal losses.

Molly (who yes has showed up there) warns. "Only problem with that is, the building you would have to strike happens to be a central space station hub. Even IF you bombarded the shield, you would risk secondary explosions that would tear half of New York apart. While that is an option, lets try to not do that. I can get us past any shields without having to risk blowing things up."

- I said that I won't send my men on a suicide mission!- Alex yelled at Molly.- The whole damned planet is in ruin and you're worrying about some stupid city? For someone like your IQ you sometimes act quite stupid. Do you know what odds are of beating an army of superhuman clones with a handfull of normal soldiers? Losses would be great! I won't allow it. Better to blow the damn thing up and hunt down the remaining, than to throw ourselves onto them.

Molly looks at you. "Then leave your men out of it. Do you think I don't KNOW what we are up against? That we are outnumbered, outgunned, and the underdogs? You fire on the city, you lose. Don't you get it? It has no problem abandoning it's objective and waiting and hiding. It can go ANYWHERE in the Federation, and bide its time! We have ONE chance to get it, and you will WASTE all our efforts! It's your ship, go ahead. Order it to fire. I can't stop you."

"How accurate weapons are we talking about?", Varjo asks the fighting pair.
"If you can really get us past the shield couldn't you disable it too? We could get a small team to disable the shield and locate the enemy. That done we could bombard most of them from the sky without risking much men. Can we pull that off?", he addresses the last question to both of them with a slight raise of his eyebrows.
