Gabriel shrugs and sighs. "I would say God works in mysterious ways, but it isn't even that. I don't know what is going on anymore. Its like most of them have .. given up. Turned their backs, and said the heck with it. Even HIM. The Fallen Prince is running around unchecked, demons might as well be a dime a dozen, and pretenders are everywhere."
He lowers his head. "Something, or someone is behind it all. The recent Demon summons, the escape of the machine that would be a god, the anti-matter clones..the Mist. All of it. I just don't know who..or why. Worse, THEY are not doing a thing about it. They are washing their hands about this universe."

All had gathered at a small, but heavily fortified subterran camp. Everyone were dirty, smelly and bore various injuries. Still a little happyness could be felt in the air. Small, child size subterrans ran around, making sure that the defences are working properly. Some of the rangers were feeling a bit uncomfortable in front of them.
Everyone was gathered at one of the tents. Several dropships from Cruor Vult had already landed and deployed extra soldiers.
- Reinforcements are ariving as we speak. What is our course of actions now?- Asked Alex. A team of medics was tending to his, and his colleagues' wounds and injuries.

-Aren't you supposed to be dead?- Asked Alex while looking at Geist.- Nevermind. I suppose that the next step is to bring down some heavier firepower. The damn 'god' is crippled now, it would be a good time to assault it, and destroy it. Permanently this time.

"That's all very well, but umm...where do we attack him? And how? If he's a massive supercomputer, then he'll probably just leave and rebuild himself up again. We should first start off by blocking off or destroying all electronic connections to the outside world, which includes us, so that means no com contact or anything. We need to have one perfectly coordinated assault. I can also send messages between groups if necessary so there is no errors, but knowing us, there probably will be." replied Geist, "Oh, and yeah, I should be dead, but Johnny here was nice enough to give me the rez."

- I take Silicon Valley then. Any other takers? Your heavy support will be the Aquilan war titans who did fairly well in the first assault agaisnt the megalomaniac AI. Also...- Alex was interrupted by one of his men.
- Sorry to interrupt sir, but this is urgent.
- What?
- We managed to recover what was left of "Sweetie". The remains had just arrived. There are few survivors.
- Take me to them.
Alex and the man walked out of the tent. The hot african sun mercilessly scorched the ground today. Subterran technicians already took care of a badly damaged escape craft. Several crates bearing the logo of Terra Archeaologica were carried out.
- Looks like some of it survived after all. Show me the survivors.
He entered another tent, where serpent resembling subterrans tended the wounds of two badly burned people.
- They'll be alright. The skinks already began fashioning bodies for them.
- Bodies?
- Cybernetic bodies. Their injuries are too great to be recovered normaly. Encasement is the only possible option.
- I see. Do what you have to.- He moved near the one of the injured, and touched his head. Alex tapped into the man's memories and saw the events through his eyes.
He saw the ships that blockaded Earth, and a ship of unknown origin that flew straight into the freighter. It started firing. Everyone started panicking.
- Maintain the cargo! It's the top priority!
- But what about?
- No time! Take them and flee!
The man, probably the captain of the ship strapped himselft to the seat of the escape craft.
- Evans, is everything fine?
- We're ready to go!- Another blast shook the freighter, detaching the craft, and sending it to space. An explosion shook it, knocking out the two men, and sending their craft towards earth.
Alex removed his hand from the man's head.
- I guess someone doesn't want that some secrets would be unveiled. But they failed. This time at least.
Overlooking the crates again, Alex returned to the tent where his colleagues were trying to concoct a suitable assault plan.

Baal
As everything there is done, you and the rest of your group head to the rendevous point. You are considering where to head toward, as Molly had suggested that if everybody doesn't go to ONE area..that the group would be defeated. Which makes sense if there are doubles waiting wherever this thing is focusing on.
Something .. odd happens. A chain of seemingly random events. The teleporter malfunctions porting you into the middle of a busy street far from your destination. Before you can react, one of the cars screeches to a halt, but barely clips you, sending you flying. You fall over the impass, straight on to a garbage truck..landing totally unharmed. By the time you straighten yourself out, and manage to stand up, the truck has stopped. You are standing before a building with what looks like a bunch of human hostages being taken into a building by machines. Looks like another 'organic harvesting' is going on.

Baal cleaned himself from the rubbish. He was confused after those fast events. He even didn't know where he is standing and where others. All Baal could suppose that it was somewhere on Earth, because of landscapes and architecture. Then suddenly building in front of him attracted his attention. He felt that it isn't an accident that he find himself here.
"Perhaps it was a wish of Gods." - he thought. Baal approached the building and saw machines literally pulled humans. Without any hesitating Baal burst into building. Suddenly he caught a glance of one robot, they watched eyes to eyes maybe for two seconds, then mechanical voice was heard:
"Catch iceman! We need him alive."
Baal immediately raised his hands, making some ice and preparing to defence. Tens of robots rushed toward him.

Baal
It is the oddest fight that Baal has ever been in. It's almost like the computers are jinxed or something. Servos short out, sending them crashing into each other. Old beams decide NOW is a good time to fail..crashing straight on others of the machines. One of them tips over an oil drum, causing a spill, and sending the other machines into a tail spin. Baal almost doesn't have to do a thing, they are beating themselves.

One of the machines rushed toward Baal. The machine's mechanical leg accidentally caught a wire and a second later huge lustre felt from the ceiling right onto robot's head flattening it, so every bolts and nuts flied in different sides.
The strangenesses kept on. Every single robot, that came too close to Baal was beaten by similar strange accident.
After some time no working robots remained in the building. Anyway Baal finally cleaned out the building. He saw dead robots, unconscious humans and nothing more. Then suddenly he heard a female voice behind him:
"Hi" - the voice said playfully.
