Updates
Hello.
Recently I have noticed that a few updates has arrived for the HD-mod. When I try to download them it says "Error #03: Files list getting unsuccessful", is there a way to fix this?

Probably your antivirus, I had the same thing happen several times.
Turn off your antivirus' firewall, update and put the firewall back on.

Not that it's terribly important, but the campaign cutscenes don't work in HD mod while they do in vanilla H3. I get some error message...
Game over cutscene doesn't work either and crashes the game (the hold-up for terminating the process is usually slow so I have to AltF4 before the game over cutscene happens if I fail a map).
Fixes?

Hello, everyone!
My Heroes 3 HD exe file just got deleted by my avast antivirus due to "win32:evo-gen infection". What's more I am not allowed to download it again! I will bypass these restrictions as I believe that everything is OK, but did anyone have the same problem?

Install better free anitivirus than avast.

I recommend AVG free.
 If you install new antivirus, be sure to uninstall previous one first, your computer won't like two antivirus side by side.

That's weird, they work fine for me, what are your HD settings?
Edit: I was on my phone earlier and didn't see the pics, an error message saying "resource not found" makes me suspect bad install too.

Why AVG? Of all possible "legit" antiviruses, you found the worst one. When it doesn't have false positives, it fails to protect against real threats.
Malwarebytes has the only solutions that never failed.

I just wanted to say, that I have exactly the same issue like Star_King described. The issue was also there 1 year ago, but I didn't know this forum to report 
The installation was and is fine. The last time it was just Complete+HD, now it is Complete+HotA+HD.
HD+ is active, FullScreen and Low Video settings. (also without HD+ and in window mode the problem is there)
The game is installed by default in the non admin program files folder. Maybe this is a problem?
And a feature request:
Could you add a "Yes or No" choice to the Witchhut? It is very annoying to save and load, if the skill the witchhut teaches is rubbish =/

If you have the User Account Control enabled in your Windows Control Panel, then it might be. Disable that, then try running H3 HD.

I'm not usually the type who wants gameplay changes, but this would be so, so awesome.

With last 2 updates I have been unable to create new games. Going new game > single player freezes the game at scenario selection. I can load saves and play these though. It's on Windows 8.
There is 1 map on maps foldeR: Vikings we shall go allied. This crash happens only with XXL "mode". If I select regular heroes 3 from HD launcher then it works.

Heads up: Witch Hut yes/no prompt is a World Tournament feature (and I guess implemented elsewhere as well).

I have no idea if HD Mod supports World Tournament, but I would guess no for amongst other reasons that many of their features are the same. You can't run World Tournament together with HotA just as you can't run for example WoG together with (as opposed to separately) HotA, makes no sense.
I just said it's a World Tournament feature, meaning you can use it in World Tournament and anyone can also implement it the same way in any other mod.

There is Advanced Witch Huts script in Era, allowing hero to refuse unwanted skill or advance known skill for a fee.
