Interface Extensions just wont work with WoG for me, they work fine if I launch original Heroes3.exe from the HD launcher, but not for WoG.

I tryd to change eveything in the config file and installed the whole thing again, any help?

This is what it looks like if i turn <InterfaceExtensions> = 2

I have a little question related to HD mod. Is it possible to modify its configuration so that it would start displaying credits.smk in a desired space of main menu?

This is somewhat related to [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/heroes_of_might_and_magic_series/homm_3_changing_background_pictures/post10]this[/url] thread as I am trying to expand on Thiev's work of restoring RoE menu screen (archangel with flaming sword).

Currently this is worked around by creating a 800x600 credits.smk with the flaming sword. This was set like that because (as far as I discovered) credits.smk in Complete is displayed in top right corner by default. A visible drawback of that method is the main menu image being downgraded to 8bit.

HD mod, on the contrary, tries to display credits.smk around the area where the fog in SoD was placed (again, my presumption). This results in the game crashing because the whole menu image is displayed in the middle, but at the same time gave me an idea of modifying .ini for a specific version with a correct offset for the original credits.smk.

This way the HD version would work with without workarounds (currently one has to exclude credits.smk from patching), main image would be displayed correctly and the original anim. would be used.

Thanks for any possible answer on that question.

Hey guys. One question. What is the setting in HD Mod that when you move the cursor over creaturea on the adventure map it shows how many they are. I mean i saw it at a russian player. He right clicked on the creatures and it showed for example Horde (50-99) Wolf Riders.
I googled, nothing. Any ideas ? Thanks

Where might I see the changelog of this mod - the one in the 1st post has only up to 2.9x something, but I just updated to 3.50 not five minutes ago.

Yes, the absence of number 2 in the list becomes confusing in every update. I had to return and read here again to see what I was missing, it would be much better if:

<InterfaceExtensions> = 0
{
  ...
  0 -
  1 -
  2 -
}


There are times I don't play heroes 3 for 6 months but then I return to it, it would be hard to remember the trick every time if it's not on the list.

There's a changelog right in your Heroes folder. It's the one with changelog in the name.

Hey again. Is there a possibility to play HD Mod and also with ARRAYTXT.txt ? It gives me an error and i cannot launch it. Btw, arraytxt is so messed up . I translated with google Chrome and man it didnt do squat. All that it supposed to do is random. When you choose your castle under the name of the player were handicap must be is writing some %%%//$$ stuff like that.

I have 0 problems using the ARRAYTXT with HDMod... I even added the faster animations.

Use the English version: Windows has difficulty opening the compressed file so I suggest you get your hands on a standalone. (7zip works for me)

I don't have a problem with Russian myself, but what about the English speaking audience? Unless I'm missing something, the changelog is only in Russian.

Hey guys. Sorry for always asking, but i just updated HD Mod and it doesnt have the quick Combat option anymore. I checked it, it is on, but id doesnt simulate battle. It just battles and gives the result without beeing able to redoit. Any help? Please. I just got used to that option, man!

Hi, I've come across one thing that's annoying me a little. It keeps bulk buying as many men for me at all creature dwellings when I go to purchase men. I looked through the configuration settings and turned off "AvailableInsteadGrowthInTown", but it still did it. I thought "Instead" was a typo for "Instant", but it still was happening.

I looked through the configuration file, but I don't know what else it could be to turn off, or is this a feature I'm stuck with?

I'm having trouble after updating to the latest version of the mod. I hadn't updated for a while and there we 3 new version to update to. I haven't touched any settings from before the update. Now when I try to make a random map I get the error message "Cannot create Random_Map.H3M in Data directory." and when I try to load a normal map I get a "Critical Error, HD_CRASH_LOG was generated." This didn't happen before these last updates. Any help?
