Meh, disappointed with the CE stuff.
Extra maps and more heroes, make it seems there wont be that many heroes ingame, nor many maps, so they kinda make us have the need to buy the CE, or is it just me?

However, the new race looks so awesome ^^

Are you suggesting there has been even a single heroes race that has not been stereotypical in some way? Save maybe the new version of the necromancers..

It's not just you. The CE is not supposed to provide in-game content which is not present in the "normal" release. Especially given that they said that there will be only 10 maps in the mentioned "normal" version, this sounds like "If you want the full game, buy the CE".
Edit:

Not at all. But there are powers of the stereotypical which are tolerable and powers which become tedious. Heroes V explored the latter category with enormous enthusiasm while the previous games were a bit (and sometimes not just a bit) more subtle. And the excuse "It has always been dull so far, we just keep it as dull as before" is not really appropriate when you deal with what the people call creative work. Or maybe you like watching the same movie or reading the same book over and over again, to the end of time?

I agree, additional maps and heroes are lamest thing ever.

It just makes buyers of standard edition not get a complete game.
Today's sales are indeed a mess. Lame move UBI.

Artbook, soundtrack, t-shirt, ring and poster are nice.

Well, well, well, the Naga faction have been revealed in lots of screenshots and video release.

The Naga Strategy on the battlefield:

- to limit the enemy's tactical movement with various ground control abilities
- to focus on one single enemy stack at a time
- they favour co-ordination and precision over brute strength
- their water based magic provides them with various means to disrupt the enemy and rearrange it's placement on the battlefield (in the video we can see all the Naga creatures going first in the 10th turn followed by all the Haven creatures, seems like the Haven initiative has been disrupted)

Their faction ability "Honour" seems to benefit their defense. "Honour" is increased when they engage in a fair fight.

I love the Kappa -> looks like a frog!

Confirmation -> Enough of all your debates on the water elemental vs the Spring Spirit! The River/Spring Spirit is confirmed so the water elemental will be something else (that other video with the "water elemental" name above the creature was just a place holder to mess with our minds)

Soemthing else -> The Stronghold Town portal is renamed the "Pile of skulls"....maybe this adds to their faction ability (like the pillar of bones in H5) or boosts weekly core creature growth (like Pile of Bones in H3)

Sure, I just fail to see what the orcs have in common with the nagas.
Nothing, that's the point. But the images are way too stereotypical so far. Naga - honourable, calm, "wise", yet capable of defending itself race based on a cliche image of a Sino-civilization. Orcs - honourable, not so calm, barbaric race. The Humans and the Necromancers consider themselves honourable too, for their own reasons - usually because they think of themselves as faithful servants of Lizard of Light and Arch-Lizard of Order. Only the Demons remain - so far they are the only ones which don't give a damn about honour and hardly strive for any perfection, which makes them at least somewhat unpredictable and potentially interesting but also isolates them in a position where they are the only Others.

If you read the idea of Honor, you can notice there are difrent meanings to the idea.

So for a orc attacking head strong and furiously is a honorable fighting way while for a naga giving the same respect he aspects from the enemy to receive and fighting under a code of conduct is considered Honor. So from my point of view Honour is in the eyes of the beholder or better yet within the societies way of life and view on code of conduct of his/hers individuals.

@Mitzah great find with the collector edition to bad that only per-orders from ubi store gives access to the beta, o and yes well get the soundtrack can't wait to listen to it and of coarse get my Collector edition

EDIT

Remember Orcs have rage as their faction ability.
Naga have Honour directly as their faction ability.

Haven - guardian angel
Necro - raise dead
Demon - Gate
Orc - Rage
Naga - Honour

I am wondering if Naga's strategy is to focus on one stack at a time, it might be beneficial for Haven to cast gaurdian angel on a troop that's getting attacked....kind of messes up the Naga strategy forcing to change focus on another stack....maybe

That's exactly what I'm saying. My point is that with so many "honours" it all boils down to "my honour is bigger than yours" and the races normally end up as self-centred obscurantists, no matter how "wise" they pretend to be. Seen this way too many times already.
Whatever, let's hope that the story itself will compensate for these flaws.

They toke some steps in a good direction , if i remember well the hired 5 writers and put a huge emphasis on the story, so ya the story and the way it's played out can turn around some of its flaws

Well in Heroes 5 Complete Edition it was a size M T-Shirt so I guess in this release it will be the same, and the ring well you got 10 finger I'm sure it will fit on one

EDIT if by chance doesn't fit on any of the fingers you can always go Frodo Baggins style and ware it like a chain

I think that this Naga hero is partially on land and sea so I think other factions would be able to do this too (like the one video where Haven is fighting the Spring Spirits walking through the water area).

The Naga mount looks like a horse with the Kirin Dragon head!

Wow, great find, some really interesting stuff in this video: first look at a Naga hero, dragon on a T-shirt which could be a boss, neutral or even a future shadow dragon as someone said. Also last hero, green Naga from the Michael picture seems to be a Necro-Naga hero (has those same pointy things as Necro magic heroes). What's up with that?

After seeing all these glorious beasts as champion units, the girlie angel just seems underwhelming.
