Going to Blizzard restaurant..
Customer: Can i please have a Diablo3 dish?
Waitress: Of course you can, but i have to warn you in advance, that it may take time..
Customer: What do you mean? How long will it take? I need the exact time!
Waitress: I am sorry but i can not give you specific time as Diablo3 dish is very special, and will be served only when it's completely ready and close to perfect, so it is going to be the most delicious meal you ever tried in your life!
Customer: hmmm... so maybe i will come next time then... please let me know in future whenever i will be able to taste it!
Waitress: Certanly, as soon as the Chief confirms it's ready i will let you know...
Going to Ubi restaurant..
Customer: Hello! Can i please have Heroes6! i am starving!
Waitress: Yes of course! will take about 15 minutes!
Customer: Thank you, can't wait...
after 30 minutes..
Customer: Excuse me! i have been waiting for my meal for half an hour already! what happened! it was supposed to be ready 15 minutes ago!!!
Waitress: well actually i didn't say 15 minutes.. i said about 15 minutes.. so you will have to wait for a bit more.. but within 1 hour it will be ready
Customer: ok.. hope the meal worth it..
after 1 hour..
Customer: EXCUSE MEEEEEE!!!! can anyone explain what's happening??? is it some kind of a joke??? i am starving for more then hour!!! where is my meal???
Waitress: actually you will have to wait more time, i'd say one more hour.. Chief says that he needs more time, to make the dish really tasty..
Customer: you could have simply told me in advance, so i won't waste soo much time waiting.. i am very disappointed by your service.. will come back after 4 hours.. hope it will be enough this time!!!
Waitress: well... whatevaa...

So, you finally realized how hard it is to be an employer programmer.
Instead of being on your own and, then, choose the publisher that will review it first hand before beginning the packaging and shipping process? I think you do.
Now, you get the glimpse of why the patches for the vanilla version of MM:H5 took so long for release. The expansion of H.o.F v.2.0 + later on patch 2.1 was meant to be the overall patching of the original game all along.
For, T.o.t.E. v.3.0 was a total re-adaptation of the game for the totally new PC hardware and O.S. of Vista. Minor bugs fixed in patch 3.1. I really do think that Nival did an awesome job with T.o.t.E. v.3.1. I currently use Win. 7 x64 SP1 and, the game still works pretty damn good. My only problem is, now, the hardware of the machine is getting too old for both the O.S. and all the other apps. for it. Not a problem relating to the game itself. She aged rather quickly and, now, got to replace her with a way better one.
My final point is: Do not always blame the games and other apps., the machine's hardware is to blame most of the time. Example: There still is a March 2011 Device driver for my ATI video/graphics card but, cannot use it since the bios and the inner workings of my very slow mainboard can not figure the expansion card's new programming type of a device driver for it. So, stuck with a 32/64bit device driver of December of 2009.

DarkLord has his reason to be pissed (at list bothered) by the Ubi release date change, but then again all the dates ware not official but more like estimates ... to every individuals point of view.
Now a lot of people pointed that the delay was do to polishing .. I'm not that convinced, while I hope they tray to iron out the flaws of it I think they pushed it back because, or most likely a mix of this two, off overcrowding for release games example:

May had one of the most delayed game ever Duke Nukem Forever which got delayed to June but we get with:
THE WITCHER 2: ASSASSINS OF KINGS
Dungeon Siege III
Fable 3
F.E.A.R. 3
And we get to June where so far confiremed beside H6 is:
Duke Nukem Forever
and a lot of not confirmed games for Q2 2011
So they hope to get some buyers and at the same time not compete whit games that have a bigger audience and generate bigger hype, and unfortunately H6 as far as I know is being overlooked by game critics and (don't say they are truth speaker's and we should follow them blindly) doesn't make it in a lot of Top 10 most expected games of 2011 which is saddening.
So bottom line whatever the reason for pushing back the relies date, or the avoidance of giving a clear release date for so long, I hope it's going to be for the best, still the waiting is some times the most difficult part of the whole process.

Games lost a lot of the fun element and the interest of delivering a game for fans by fans after this whole thing became a Industry, and today beside few studios and indie games most are in for the buck.
Complaining brainless gamers ... I wouldn't be so hares more like people who forgot that patience is a virtue and a rewarding one in our case (I Hope  )

Well, it doesn't help the fact that nowadays games are revealled years before they're ready, even before the concept for the game is ready.
They have no choice, it's to maximize sales for the game when it releases.

In that case, they have to know that they'll receive complains from impatient gamers. It's just a consequence of their actions, so the whining isn't less justifiable than the reveal years before the release.

Another question:
Is the creature screen showed in the Igromir video a placeholder, like the city screen, or is it the final one? It's just because I think it's uglier than in H5...

Seams to be the final one ... but until UbiHole release some definite info it's still uncertain

ok people, just to make it clear!
i am NOT saying that you guys are "WRONG"!
and i am certanly ready to wait for even 1 more year for the game
just to be sure we won't get "Disciple3-like" product
release of Dis3 was a disaster!!!
but i am saying that i have a point and a reason to be disappointed,
AND i am saying it not in the sake of complaining..
i am trying to explain my point of view.
and i really do not understand why it was so difficult to say summer 2011, so people won't expect it so soon..
that's it.. simple as that!

You don't understand, but that doesn't mean there aren't reasons - lots of them.
I don't know why you'd set maximum faith in the idea that it was certain to be released in March anyway, based on Ubi's track record. For instance even something small like Clash of Heroes came several months later than advertised, and the HD remake is a year late.
I'll say it again - don't express disappointment in delays unless you're looking for the Might and Magic brand to implode, and repeats of things like Elemental: War of Magic and Disciples III.

Just added a new interview in the news thread. Including boss fights in multiplayer might be one of the reasons the game was postponed.

That's what happens when you streamline things. Like the overly complicated resource system of the past games. The 4 resources now will make the game so much easier to follow. Good riddance 7 resource system!!!
I guess we should be thankful it isn't a console port.

1 - Sleep untill the release date of the H6 Complete edition.
2 - Take a fast look on some of the features of some site.
3 - Go to a store.
4 - Stay with the box of the game 5 minutes in your hands.
5 - Go home without buying it.
6 - Think about why didn't you bought it.
7 - Think about what you saw on the site, and what you could saw but you hadn't time to look.
8 - Wait a week.
After that, you will be hyped enough to buy it the next time you get out of your home
