I Hated Georgia for about half of the song (and was unimpressed by the other half). Mediocre at most.
San Marino's song is a valiant attempt... but not sufficient enough imo to be memorable enough to qualify for the next rounds

San Marino, eh? Forgettable.
Croatia has a nice try but the singer isn't on the needed level.
Iceland belongs to a 40's pub or something...

now this one was awesome, and sign language in the middle. 
Totally a copy of Heikki Sarmanto one but who cares!

UGH if Azerbaijan wins. It is a great song, but oh textbook I simply cannot buy it. It tries TOO HARD imo.
Greece H8 H8 H8 H8. The Greek parts are tolerable, but the HipHop parts are the worst thing ever. I prefer everything else, minus perhaps Portugal and that Armenian Screetchhag. Even the Marquis de Saade is more tolerable.

I have only watched maybe half of the semi-finale tonight because my mum forces me to watch Desperate Housewives on Tuesdays and then make me write an essay on the episode.
But from what I have seen tonight - IT IS THE WORST EUROVISION SEMI-FINALE EVER.
99% of all singers, well, they CAN'T SING!
Look up on Hungary and San Marino on YouTube.
Wow, beautiful and powerful songs I think.
And then I see it live.
And I facepalm IRL.
Because it is the biggest fail ever.
Did they empower the rules on no voice manipulation or are the singers just that bad this year?
Azerbaijan is the only decent country. And Norway of course. She's got energy! If I could vote, I would vote on Norway for their "feel good" song with a flashback to the Lion King which was a pretty good movie.
Rap ruins the Greek song, which is sad since Greece usually has really nice songs with that mediterrean tone.
Also ofc the greek guy can't really sing.

Okay, watching the fast forward now.
I like Serbia! Seems like they removed the annoying fart sound?
Norway is totally dominating the competition with all that energy!
Russias singers look me like but ugh, he has such a horrible ego and the song is even worse than Popular.
Georiga is a bit over the top for me.
Switzerland, I will sleep too.
I really like Finland! Wow, such a break from the horrible usual rock! Typical Swedish radio pop which will be the summer song of the year here for sure. 
Very cozy and nice song.
Malta! Rainbow power! Well, makes me happy but nothing special.
Celebrate also makes me happy but honestly the cerebrates from Starcraft could eat her. :S
Iceland is what we in Sweden call "dance band". It belongs to one of the cruises going between Finland and Sweden.
Portugal should have stayed in Portugal.
Sorry, but I doubt a lot of people care about the problems in your society. Don't wanna sound mean, I love Portugal even though I am learning Spanish.
Azerbajian. Typical radio pop music in Sweden. They sing decently bit they always try so hard. Drip drop was much better.
Greece. Rap + opera = Fail.
That Swedens commentors have to comment the show via telephone = also fail.
Arena is beautiful though, great job Germany!

Overall, I would say Armenia was the worst entry this semi final. If it qualifies, I will cut a you-know-what.
My favorite this round is SERBIA, closely followed by Azerbaijan and -oddly enough- Switserland.

Excuse me everyone, if you have looked at some of the songs I posted, don't you agree they are better candidates for Eurovision, the primary idea of which was to present countries' tradition, language and music to each other?

What happened? I'm rewatching the semi finale now (My mom missed it and pressed me to rewind it before the results were revealed), so I have no clue who qualified or not.
Nm. I checked on Wiki. ALOLPWNT @ Armenia, Norway and Turkey.
Ew at Georgia and Greece qualifying, but they are the only songs I despised that moved on, so no complaints there ^__^

So happy for Finland! Wish I could speak finnish but I will try to say congratulatioms: Mooominkakkkarakperrrkkolakkka!
So sad for Norway, was the best and most energic song but I guess people were all racist and didnt think that it represented Norway well when thats what norway and sweden look like today (for better or for worse)
Can't wait to read Norways reactions though as they have pushed down Popular and raise Haba Haba to the skies (well, I have too ;P)
so glad all swedes can understand norwegian so going to their media now lol
