Oh for **** sake. Continuous installation problems. Like what the hell man? I tried Rar. That stuffed up. Tried the actual installer thing and it says some client_cell_1.dat is corrupt or something. Looks like I can't even play the game unless one of you find some way I can get across this problem.

It's rather strange your download gets corrupted, since it doesn't happen to anyone else. I wonder maybe you're using another link? What link are you using?

I was using the link that was provided on the thread that you told me to go to. The official one. I just ignored two things that said were corrupt and the install seems to be going fine...for now. I have been searching on the googles and I'm not the only one that has had this problem trying to install. I am just one of the very few unlucky ones. :/

That happens a lot william. The download can take anywhere from 3 hours to a full day!!!
Edit: Gratz Selcy on your triumph lol. Did you go for a ranger???

I tried to google as well. And came to the same conclusion. Few people have seen this problem. Not really much of any solutions, apart from installing on different computers and transfer the installation, etc. which does seem like quite a lot of work to do!

Well when you finished the first solo question in the cave with the healer, rogue and sorceror. There was a chest after you kill the sahugin priestess, before you find the secret wall. You should have looted everything in the chest. Light armor should have been in there. Just click i (to bring up your inventory) and double click on the clothes to equip.
Edit: If not (LMAO) you are in your starter rags until you can either buy some armor or loot some.

Well I ignored all those errors and I got to login screen and boom, some unhandled exception or something and I can't even start the game. I don't know what to do as I'd love to play this but I don't want to redownload for a 3rd time...

Is it anything to do with your firewall or anything stopping it downloading properly? Mine updated some software before I could play it.

It's nothing to do with that. If only it were that easy. There's been no solutions to this problem. This'll be the third time I will have to download it IF I even choose to download it again. I tried the downloaded rar file and that said that files were corrupt when trying to extract and I did the normal downloader from the website and that gave me problems when trying to install such as certain .dat files are corrupt. This is pissing me right off as I really want to play but there are no solutions. I've tried repairing via the installer and that gives me the same problem. I'm just really stuck. Frustrating. Argh!!!

Both downloads for me didn't take long, maybe an hour and a half or so. It's just trying to extract gives some corrupt files error or when trying to install I get some corrupt files error.

I have searched the web and couldn't find anyone with this problem who actually solved it! How frustrating!
