Yup. I did the Standard Definition one as I don't care too much for graphics. I also did the Fileplanet one linked there as well. Both didn't work.

I don't know if this is real or something I dreamt, but I recall reading that usual downloaders actually check up on the files which are downloaded to avoid this. The panda booster thingy does not. Therefore, maybe getting it through a torrent website, where I believe there's a self-searching for faulty download, may be a possible solution.

That's actually what a few people have said in some forums. Ridiculous this Panda thing. It's one of the worst programs I have ever used because I'm not the only one who has had this problem. Now that's just stupid. And they don't even bother to fix it or make it so it checks if anything is fault. I have heard some guy who just made certain files, ones which happen to be missing for me like sound.dat and all and then when the launcher is opened, it automatically updates them all as it does usually. Maybe that might work. I'll see once I've installed again.

I sure hope it does work, this time around!
While at it, when do you guys have time to play again? I'll have to leave for quite some time in a couple of days, so it'd be nice to know.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Finally!!!!
Solution to my problems was my own thinking.
The problem was when trying to install, client_sound.dat was corrupt, apparently, so that file was missing and since that file was missing, the game refused to run. This latest download that I got happened to be the Hi Res version. I tried installing but got the same errors EXCEPT for the sound.dat file which copied perfectly. The hi res didn't work so I copied the sound.dat file to the standard res folder and it is working. I'm about to create a character now. Hopefully there are no more problems. 
Alright, so first quest done. Was pretty damn easy. Now who's online now?
