Clerics can do some cool stuff but every time they join a group they just end up being the cabin boy that keeps everybody alive.

@Will ... no no Mercy is still my main. I created the cleric mainly for guild runs, if we get stuck.
And cleric's do have some awesome spells, but mainly you just spend the time being nursey.

Ah okay. Yeah, I'd get bored if I was a Cleric as I'd want to start killing everything. Hence why I picked a Fighter.

Yep, good carnage tonight. And it has been shown that not even a pool of acid can overcome testosterone. It came close, and I almost had to be sissily escorted to a shrine, but I was spared from that unspeakable embarrassment, and let me assure you that it had nothing to do with quaffing a bunch of heal potions.

Yes it was good fun tonight, even if we had to keep stopping for Blizz to ... cooking his food, faff around several times .... usually during the most intense of battles too I noticed
Only joking. Its always nice to have a full group, get to do these quests on elite and have the chance of pulling fairly decent loot.
But we may need to look into getting you guys some packs or at least guest passes to some of the P2P quests.

But on the WoW forums people are complaining about the game all the time and there is a reason that WoW has lost 700 000 active subscribers (me included, but that's not because I hate them, its because the game has become old, friends have left and i'm busy with school these days).
But Dungeons and Dragons do suck lol. How is DnD relevant today in any way? Dungeons and Dragons is DEAD and the king of fantasy is now Warcraft!!!

Also when I was making a faction with Chimeras in it and googled Chimera, I just found lots of FAKE DND CHIMERAS that looked nothing like the original Greek mythology one. It took AGES to find a real chimera.
Plus early on in WoW, they HAD to make
a book called "Appendix bla bla bla" which introduced all the thousands of ridiculous DnD monsters to the franchise. Ofc the book was not canon Warcraft lore but lots of people on wowwwiki.com thought that GARDEN GNOMES, LEPRECHAUNS and like WOODEN DEMONIC DRAGONS existed in Warcraft after that. -.-
And third, there is an author of Warcraft books called Richard A. Knaak who really sucks because he thinks Warcraft is DnD. I hate him so much for turning Mal'furion into a superhero in "Stormrage", making RHONIN REDHAIR who was a nobody the leader of the freaking Kirin Tor!!! also hes girlfriend is an elf... -.-
And finally, Richard A. Knaak invented a sentient ARMY OF RAPTORS to attack the fortress Grim Batol in the "Night of the Dragon" book. Ofc Rhonin Redhair magically became their leader and this is where I realize that it might be time for me to stop spamming your thread and do something useful like cleaning my room or go outside for a while.

This thread was started purely for those interested in playing DDO as a Heroe's Community group. Plain and simple. A community activity. All of us that enjoy playing the game, often plan out runs and times on this thread and often talk about the good times and fun we've had.
We're not telling people they have to join, we're merely sharing our own experiences with a few people who feel the same way. This thread isn't asking for massive discussion as to the pro's and con's of the game. Neither are we asking for all and sundry's opinions. If you're interested in joining in, great. If not ... well then just read another thread.
This isn't a discussion thread like some others on HC. We're not asking for other's comments.
Will is correct in saying that if you have no interest in ddo, there really is no point in posting in this thread. And to come to this thread just to be provocative in a negative way is just disrespectful to all those involved.

@ Xerox: Of course you would find the DnD chimera, the game has been around since the 1970's. In all those years, it has been the #1 fantasy RPG in the world. If it was dead, would this still be true? Take you depreciative spam elsewhere, my friend.
