I am the one "UBIshopper" and I have no email with this promo so It seems more like a random promotion than targeted strategy.

But no matter if this is hint for next expansion or not... we are lacking any informations from UBIhole - no patch, no expansion, no DLC, no nothing

THe only hint is that the dynasty weapon is the colours of Academy....so this could be the next faction, would make sense chronologically with the necromancers becoming a powerful force in the seven cities (610 YSD)

Although, what follows immediately after 564 YSD is the Day of the Tiers of Fire (Elves / Dark Elves)....

EDIT: But then again, Ubihole can do anything with they want and bring in dwarves for all we care...

but Academy looks on the cards....

One question on the designers, insiders or generaly everybody.

So we have Boss battles and we have an Achievment system. For the last few days I was asking my self a question.

Why didn't anybody think about adding defieted bosses to duel mode for a common quick boss battel for inbetween.
They put so much effort into them, why not get the most out of there potentila.

Would it be so hard to add one more collom to the Duel options where the player could chose one of the bosses to be his enemy? They are a special location already or am I wrong?

It would be a nice test of skills to se with how small of an army you could kill each of theme.

Also I think it is a kind of a pitty that you can fight each boss with only one(in two eceptions two) factions.

amazing new artwork

I LOVE the idea of a halo acually being a melee weapon for a Haven unit

that Angel looks AMAZING and I wish we had it instead of the boring, regular ones we got

the dark spring spirit creeps me out

the naga we have are better than the old one
though I like the ledroit Geisha naga a lot better than the medusa copycats aka the Pearl Maidens

The concept arts are impressive. To me the alternative concept arts for the celestial and mizu kami look better than the ones the devs had choosen.
I like both versions of Deep Naga (I forgot their names). They could have used one of the versions for the base and the other for the upgrade.

I rather dislike the alternative naga, looks like a typical blocky serpent, no finesse at all. At least the one we got has an unconventional look. Rest looks great.

I actually like the old version of the Deep Naga better. Because the look more like actual serpents.
The newer version isn't bad, mind.

Does anyone know where can I find the credits of this game (I don't have the game)? I'm curious to know if we search for the websites of the artists we wont be able to find other concept arts.

I also wonder if the devs showed to the VIP fans artworks of the creatures with their actual design or with an alternative design. Just to know if at least they were honest with the VIP fans about the creatures of the game.

I've been brwosin through some old o text material I used to translate at the time of Heroes V.

It is an interesting insight on the history. How thing have changed and what the opinions at that time were.

With some I do relate.
Like with the statemant "There will be not convertable town.. ind woudl not make sence." But ques what we got some 5 years later.

Some are just desturbing knowing now what the result of that promis was. Like the statemant "Several writers have been hired to work on the HV story".

The "hiring of writers" does not a good story make. Videogames are  fundamentally different media from all other forms and as such it's hard for people not ingrained in the medium to write for it.

Fun fact 2:
Just saw a TV add for H VI o a german chanel. And thay actually described it as a bestceletr. Since the oficial numbers are unknowen, I wonder how much truth there is in this statement

Admittedly I am anticipating to hear the 1.4 changes more than the coming of 1.3

Meanwhile I submitted a Q&A for HC, Irina is currently absent from office but will return on April the 4th. It pretty much covers the recent worries such as the uniform skill system, the long silence, the overlooked forums, the future of the game, sim turns and so on.

If the info that the Celestial Heavens people have is correct, this patch will be yet another bad joke (which was clear from the pre-release content shown a while ago anyway). I'm not intending to start playing again, there's virtually no improvement over the December patch.

I suppose most of us are concerned with town screens and map editor but most of all game balance. Until patches deal predominantly with these issues, they will seem immaterial.

I would like to see a deeper skill system, like H5 where skills go in depth (eg. Attack -> Battle Frenzy -> Retribution, etc.)

I would also like a more unique faction skill system, ie. certain skills only available to certain factions (eg. Swarming gate for Inferno).
